Gtafan_21
I think when it comes to comparing games I'm almost positive nostalgia has at least something to do with it. I think Gta Vice City has way too much nostalgia to it. I mean the soundtrack is probably the best in any video game, but when the nostalgia wears off you start seeing the game's flaws. The city compared to Gta 3's feels quite dumbed down. Liberty city is probably the best city in an open-world game. Besides I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but vice city is super flat, so it makes the city feel smaller. I understand Tommy Vercetti is the best protagonist in Gta, cuz unlike Claude he talked, compared to CJ he wasn't the government's bitch. Niko was an errand boy like Claude, Johnny was a good protagonist, same with Luis. Franklin was underdeveloped and Michael and Trevor were OK. All I'm saying is Gta vice city has way too much nostalgia. The city compared to Liberty city was a bit small and didn't feel like a city, and when you compare the game to San Andreas it has nothing against it besides protagonist and story (maybe). The city has nothing against San Andreas cuz it has highways and such. I'm not saying GTA vice city is a bad game I'm just saying it has so much nostalgia behind it, everything about the game is exaggerated when compared to other games.
