How to skip race tournaments?

I have done all of the cars tournaments with my greatest effort and I won all of them. I won all  flying tournaments too, except for military service and barnstorming, which are INSANE to play on a mobile phone. I tried it for about 200 times already and I still couldn't pass either of them. Personally, it's even harder than delivery lines. I really really really hope someone could help me code something into my save so I can pass them. Thank you so much!

This isn't the sort of issue that I find interesting, and save editing doesn't really lend itself to a simple solution. If you hadn't mentioned save editing then weasel wouldn't have moved your topic out of the general SA forum where mobile players might be able to help you out. I don't generally get involved in mission help topics beyond offering a text solution unless something is broken by unmodded game play.

 

Try again but leave out the editing part. If you've given up on the usual strategy of reading guides, watching videos and practicing, then post a link to your save in the form of a Save'n'Play (SnP) request and hopefully someone skilled at mobile flying will complete the races for you.

You do know there is no time limit on those 2 races? It's more of a time trial than anything. Even if you have to go slow just to get it done, go ahead and try that. Surely you can do that? Passing those races is the best solution to this. Sorry to say.

 

The problem here is not many play/mod the mobile version of the game as much as the PC version, so it'll be rare someone will be able to put the time in for this. Just take it slow and focus. It's just a time trial.

Sorry for being too desperate. Brainstorming should be minimal flicks on the analog stick. You want to turn as little as possible due to the oversensitive movement of the Stuntplane. For Military Service, make sure you don't go too fast or too slow. Going slow is only a problem in the mobile version because of the Hydra's controls being changed to be automatic. Slow speeds can trigger the hovering at the least appropriate times while flying fast can be reckless. If your device is like one of mine that requires multiple taps just to detect one, this will be too complicated. Your device's input is one of the factors in the successful completion of these two activities.

Replying to some of you's comment, I read a lot of tutorials or tricks or whatever you call it about passing those. Never worked, I really tried about 200 times, that's not a joke. I really feel that I do need help from you. Ur, Male01, why you think only the first way helps ? The 4th way seemed awesome!

The race scripts are a complicated mess of arrays that also include some of the stadium events. Strange problems can arise with completion progress and earning the bonus for all races completed if things don't go just right. So instead of completing missions I tried to switch which races were scored as complete. First swapped the stats from the helicopter races, but SnP didn't detect the change so I also switch which the flags for "$Races_Won". The idea is that you might be able to complete these other races again and get full credit for completion and the bonus money payout.

 

I'm not sure what to expect. I haven't even tested this on PC. Good luck.

So sorry to ask for your help again. You are really helpful. I am doing the exporting missions but I can't find stallion and cheetah in the places gta wiki mentioned. It's on the list of wanted vehicles, but I just can't find a thing. Hope you can help again.

Stallion... Is that the one that's suppose to spawn in that Pick'n'Save or whatever near Chinatown. IIRC, that spawn point tends to get blocked by other random spawns in the area. Try moving the other cars and returning from a different direction - it should spawn eventually. And the Cheetah... I forget. I cheated and moved all the fixed spawn points onto the export ship so the vehicles export themselves. But neither of these vehicles is all that difficult to pull out of random traffic. Doesn't the Stallion spawn around the docks anyway? And the Cheetah will spawn in nice areas of town, Cranberry Station, iirc, or Juniper and Paradiso. 

 

Another trick is to drive up to the 4th floor of the Emerald Isle parking garage and hop out the window. If CJ moves a little ways away and back toward the window a new set of cars will spawn and you can repeat the process til you find what you want.

 

Or find a race that features your car and steal it by parking it in a garage instead of racing.

Yeah, yeah. Please run the tests on those gambling machine glitches. I never learned to gamble in SA and wouldn't know if the mini-games are working properly or not.

Hey I tried to glitch the black jack and I found that nothing appears near it including dealers. Roulette glitch same as the problem I face initially, I can't glitch slot machines. They still work! For video pokers, I don't get any message when  I walk near it. Hope I help

Samutz is the author of GTASnP, the only tool that has decent repair tools for mobile saves. I keep him informed of the various save glitches. Something like this might get a fix the next time an upgrade cycle comes about.

 

Nope, not gunna help you with the exports. I shouldn't have helped with the races; it'll give people the wrong idea about custom save edits. But once the puzzle got into mind I got a little curious about creative solutions. However, if you are determined to edit your way to these cars, I would expect option 4, the editor for that seems mainly for IV and V but is the only tool with support for SA mobile, would be able to edit your required vehicles into a garage close to the export dock.

And with GTAModding offline we don't even have good reference for PC saves. Even that needed some updates. However, I don't think a dedicated reference for mobile, or each version, is a viable strategy. It becomes too difficult to keep all the references updated as new information is learned.

 

The best reference for all SA saves, including PS2 and non-standard mobile saves, is the latest GTASA binary template linked in the Save File Companion topic. The template is an overlay for the 010 Editor that can edit nearly anything using settings that are fairly descriptive and much easier to read and write than a basic hex editor. But having everything mapped out doesn't always help. For a lot of things, you still need to understand how the scripts work and change things over time.
