That's what I'm thinking by now, too. The nightclub will be probably working very much like the facility in that respect. We get a campaign of dooms dance-day heists, with preps and main missions and extended cutscenes, and payouts, of course. Each being repeatable, and this is where the money comes in.

 

Additionally, the night club "facility" starts out with rather small-ish party crowd (if any) at the beginning, becomes more lively the more campaign missions we have unlocked. And there's of course various useful installations, like the new garage, and this new business-computer.

 

There's much potential there.

 

And Bahama Mamas opens for public, being the hub for Midnight Club-style racing and also hosting tons of mini games Last Ditch hope.

Yup I'm speculating the club shown in the trailer is actually located underground, possibly in the subway system. I see a lot of curved interior roof shots, tiling when coming down the stairs etc..

It’s the release day of the update of course, lul. And we’ll probably get the guest list rewards that were supposed to release last week. Discounts for the Pounder custom, Maisonette 9 LS Tee etc. Unless that’s planned for the week after...in that case RIP in pepperoni everyone who purchases the custom versions of the Pounder, Speedo and the Mule on the release day

Also just noticed that woman with the glow paint in the club is the exact same colour glow paint in both teaser and trailer. And we don't see it anywhere else, or any other colour. I hope it's not just an NPC only set piece.

The only two words I'm worried about right now are drip and feed - no matter how coll the missions and locations all the stuff in it will either be unlockable after missions if this plays out like the doomsday heist - and the trailer seems it does, and if it doesn't and is just as mc businesses the drip feed will kill my soul

The idea of an outdoor desert rave is brilliant, really feeling good about this update.

 

My only concern is that it will only take one squeaky griefer just a few seconds to carpet bomb the heck out of it, to destroy no-doubt hours of carefully accrued stock or whatever it is we're supposed to be generating.

Could be a side mission. You know as well as everyone else how these sort of scenarios work out. Looks amazing but I'm sensing  "steal the lights from this bus and take them back to the club" sort of thing.

Yeah, could well be.  I would love the idea of being able to rock up in the middle of nowhere and unfold a rave rig type of truck on whim, but I guess it's more than likely a mission...

 

Or if several people did the same thing at the same time!  Now I'm getting carried away.

I hope if we can have outdoor parties/club areas for a bit of dancing/fun that we get some really picturesque locations to choose from. (Like the director's mode has some locations to visit listed).

 

I'd like to have one by that lake near where Michael does his yoga on Mt. Gordo, lol. Could be far enough away from all the city chaos. All peaceful like.

guest list is not the event week. Doomsday heist release week had a event week aswell

This is going to to be the worst dripfeed ever. 

 

Rumor has it this is two updates in one and there's the inevitable launch of Red Dead which necessitates GTA Online taking the L so Red Dead can hit strive. We might be seeing dripfeed from this update all the way to December. 

 

Luckily we're still in the period where the update isn't out yet and it's still fresh. But it'll be hell waiting endlessly for new content this fall.

Yeah, the last one wasn't an issue. I had no room but for the few I had to research to see if I wanted them and make room.

 

This time, we get what looks like some real garage space. Though I'll be careful not to expect too much or go carte blanche on older vehicles I'd love back. I'm not looking at the secrets right away and gonna just have a bit of that old GTA spell where I just enjoy what's there and learn as I go. DDH was great for this. Like old heists, I look back at some of the places I died and failed, and some of them I just can't understand how I found it so tricky, lol.

 

This franchise and RDR have been awesome for me in this regard. I am an adventurous ol' sod, lol.

All it will take is something like the Jester Classic being dripfed last, like R* did with the Hunter.

 

I'll be complaining, again, if something like that happens.

What id we dont actually run the Club? And it is actually Tony's Fun House? He runs the club as a legitimate front while we get the space under the Club for our illicit activities...
