I really hope this update has some depth to it. Something that makes you play the game longer than 2 weeks. Not just oh here’s some new properties. We need new interiors, new mini games, new characters, new business mechanics, new weapons maybe, new missions involving the new character. I want to see some in game stuff changed. Likenew build boards And signs for Nightclubs. Maybe spotlights. We also need some new quality of life updates. Plus every nightclub should be accessible now in game. New animations. New gameplay mechanics. New music too and radio stations.

Yea, I bet they will, too. Especially considering this could also be the last significant update before RDR2 releases as well!

Yup, they probably want to cash in 1 last time before they shift there focus on RDR2 for a while and then come back.

The body suits makes for creative snapmatic pics but I'd like to see the houser brothers in a neon wire framed bodycast for dripfeading these damn suits! I think there's a green one on the way. There's YouTube videos released months ago with thee suits leaked. After so many months of updates and drop feeds rock star needs to quit yanking our chains for real.

I still don’t understand why Fun2 said next week- nothing interesting, the week after- and then said I’m looking forward to next week.... He basically misled people into thinking the dlc would come out today and now the dlc barley has any hype because of this release date debate.

Hahahaha! I'd pay good money to see Sam & Dan Houser in a neon pink wireframe suit, dancing to house music inside Bahama Mamas! I would die a happy man after seeing that, actually

Yeah its pretty easy to point out when they had to change the date. Too bad we didn't know about those additional files beforehand...

Do we know if they added more files like this? Just to be sure they didn't delay it more then a week?

- Maybe he was wrong? at that point everyone though that its gonna be 17th (cause of guest list rewards)

Because at the time he wrote that, there was good evidence to suggest that was the day. And it probably was the day at one point, but obviously somewhere along the line something changed. This happens all the time in game development. That's why release dates are so tricky

 I wonder if those guys have atcually publicly shown their face or done interviews. I feel like Rockstar is this secret company that lives underground. Like they’re some mythical company with lots of secrets.

Uh no.... not all the players are going to instantly drop it for a horsey game. I will play it because I love red dead but nothing compares to gta and gtao. Rockstar knows theyll get players from gtao, just not as many as you think.

They have, yes. Both of them, actually. They don't do a lot of interviews, but there's a couple out there

Doesn't mean they won't shift focus temporarily, however. And they will. They'd be silly not to. That doesn't mean they'll ignore/neglect GTAO, but RDR2 will definitely be their main focus for a while

Or at the time Fun believed the update was coming today or had information that it would come today then that information changed.

 

This weeks guest list bonus pretty much points to that the update was meant to come today then got delayed. R* wouldn't have created a new guest list week otherwise.

 

People need to give the likes of Fun and Yan a break. Often they are the only reason we know anything about new updates, even if they are sometimes wrong/R* change their plans after Fun and Yan pass information to us.

 

This doesn't mean I always enjoy the methods used (riddles) or that I like the whole "I know something but can't say" vibe. I just think the "You lied" "you deliberately mislead us" stuff is going a bit too far.

It’ll be rockstar San Diego’s main focus. Rockstar Norths main focus will be GTA Online and GTA VI. Rockstar North will be developing the next dlc for December while RDR2 is releasing.
