The closest we got to actually running a business was Biker where we could choose what missions we undertook using the Clubhouse board but even those were randomly selected. Why can we not choose what to move OUR product in? Why cant I use my multi-million dollar War Rig or armoured personnel carrier to move MY drugs across the State? 

All I am saying is that we dont run sh*t, dont fall into the hype that we will run anything in this DLC.

Latest album from Tale of Us, one of the four DJ's in this next update. They're actually a group of two.

 

Listened to it extensively yesterday and it's very mellow, chill electronic type music. Nothing crass or in your face like the music from TBoGT but very nice nonetheless. Basically that tease Rockstar posted was a good indication of what this entire album sounds like.

That’s actually not bad, and I may decide to ride the fader between Spotify and the new stuff. I’ve never been an electronic person, chill/lo-fi electronic is as far as I’d go. As that’s how I like most of my music. Underproduced. Barring certain things. But then you hit your 30s and open your mind.

 

It’s a long shot, but songs by Geneva Jacuzzi, Ariel Pink and more from Nite Jewel would be nice. I’m biased, but they’re quite solid. 

 

The new stuff reminds me of the Tangerine Dream tracks, but more subdued, which is cool. 

 

I’d love to hear this in the game...

On comedy clubs for just a sec, if they got good LA comedians it would be a pretty great touch, imagine going to see an avatar of Bobby Lee or Joey Diaz? I would abuse that function... Joey would be all like: "Cocksucka!".

 

Admittedly modern dance music isn't really my thing, the stuff I do like is at least 20 years old at this point. But hey, I lucked out and got some more Aphex with the last station, so who knows, wasn't the teaser song not from any of the 4 artists that were modelled?

And there's an empty space in my 10 car garage just for the Ocelot Swinger.

 

Regarding comedy clubs, it would be nice if they finally did something with that unused Split Sides Interior under the map (off-topic: my favourite place to hide with a bounty).

In Doug Stanhopes recent autobiography he has a chapter about things he couldn't talk about if they had happened but as they didn't he could (which was a legal way of getting stuff in the book without getting sued as every story ends with "but of course it never happened" or words to that effect) where he tells a story about spending seemingly endless hours in a motion capture suit recording a routine for a video game only for his routine to be deemed unsuitable & not used in the game.  The impression given is it was for GTA 4.  Would be nice if there was variety in the type of clubs we can manage but the trailer seems quite clear there won't be (dance club only).

 

I hope this update will be something different, totally fed up with the business models in the game, but I fear it will be more of the same.  Bunch of warehouses rather than actual nightclubs,  2 different interiors, few different cosmetic options, lot of go fetch missions & not a whole heap of financial return.

That's a good question about logistics. If you think about consolidation of your businesses in Nightclub update, there is a chance we might get actually to transport old stuff in new vehicles. So to speak optimistically. Other ways to use the Custom Pounder would maybe re-route your Biker product in Nightclubs.

In worser case, you only use the Custom Pounder to deliver booze.

And the worst thing, you transport booze in Stock Custom Pounder, different than one you bought.

 

Delivering booze mission is a solid speculation as it was already featured in SP and Rockstar has a faible to bring SP activities to Online.

Well at that point it wouldn’t be DJing cause it would be just pushing play on a playlist. DJing and pushing play is totally different.
