If you use 3DS Max, GMax is simply a nerfed version of 3DS Max, so it should near enough work the same way. I've had a look for tutorials for this, and I cannot find anything for this. If it was Zmod, I'd just select all the normals I want to smooth with Selected Mode on, and click on the scene with the smooth tool, and it would be done just like that, but GMax seems to want me to fly to the moon and complete an orbit to get it to smooth the normals. Any help with this would really be appreciated. Edit: Ignore this. I decided to do all the modeling and normals in ZModeler, then rig it using GMax. Feel free to lock. guard3 Posted June 25, 2018 Share Posted June 25, 2018 Just fyi, 3ds Max uses smoothing groups. So you select faces and add a smoothing group ID, then select a few others and add another smoothing group ID etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
