Alt-Tab doesn’t tab me out of gta, does something else and no way to tab out

I’m sorry if this is not in the right forum group.

 

But however, Here’s what it does

 

If you can see, pressing Alt-Tab minimizes what is on my screen in a little box whilst still showing the screen behind it. If I hold alt-tab it allows me to move my mouse, if I hover the mouse on the box it gives me an option of a little “x” out box. Which if pressed, the game then asks me if I would like to quit the game.

 

I don’t understand, my first time pressing Alt-Tab did work.... the second time however was the birth of this issue.

 

If I spam a bunch of alt-tabs (maybe with some other keys) it then shows my game in another but different box and gives me an option of desktop 1, desktop 2, or a plus sign for another desktop. 

 

This is is very frustrating, and I would be thankful if someone could help me fix this problem.

Do you have the game in Windows Borderless or Fullscreen?

 

If Fullscreen than try Borderless which is what I use and I have no issues ALT-Tabbing out but always had issues when using Full Screen mode

I just checked my settings, it says I’m on windowed borderless.

I tried switching to full screen and tried alt-tab and it did a really similar thing. The minimized screen of the game I’m alt-tabbing out of is now on my desktop
