GTA SA PCSX2 RENDER DISTANCE

Hello, I am currently playing through San Andreas on pcsx2 as it is my favourite version of the game mainly due to the effects. I have delved into the files looking to edit the render distance but it just doesn't seem to adjust when I change the distance. Any help?
