I was very disappointing with GTA 4; GTA 5 wasn't worth the hype and money; it's been donkey years since they released a new GTA, and I'm sure any follow up games will be disasters, unless they completely change the developers team. So don't think my reply protects this topic. I will say this...there will not be any DLC for story mode made for this game due to it's age. RockStar isn't going to pay the actors the money to put into it at this point. We may get some of the vehicles and weapons after support for online is dead as a final update, but I wouldn't bet on it. Ondr4H 243 Posted June 21, 2018 I dont know why rockstar doesnt make at least few packs of DLC vehicles and guns, houses paired with some primitive unlocking missions as singleplayer dlc for few bucks. i mean for example ten cars, ten weapons for 20 bucks only playable in Single. Claude4Catalina 312 Posted June 21, 2018 I'm not much of a DLC/Season Pass person, I got The Division's pass for cheap and managed to find a preorder of Mafia III plus the Season Pass for cheaper than the standalone game, aside from that I don't tend to buy DLC, but with GTA being my go-to game for time killing and replayability, in retrospect I'd have happily paid an extra 20 quid or so for the DLC content in single player and reasonably priced multiplayer content rather than astronomically priced sh*t. It goes without saying I'd prefer it to be free but thats not a realistic expectation. If I recall a few years ago there was something said by Rockstar that all but confirmed content for single player; we used to get the vehicles and weapons but around the time of Heists or the Enhanced Edition release that came to a halt. Sucks but I guess bigger name companies are less concerned with sh*tty business practise and more concerned with profit. I can bitch all day about it but it won't change anything, I just won't be buying RDR2 and despite GTA being my go-to (I killed a PS3 playing GTA IV constantly one summer) I likely won't preorder the next GTA unless it ticks a lot of boxes for me. There was an interview that came out a few months or a year or whatever ago with the new lead developer of GTA Online (Imran Sarwar?) where he said something along the lines of "We really legitimately working on a singleplayer DLC but we saw how successful GTA online got so we moved everything to there" or something like that. Alien Invasion, Zombie Apocalypse and the Agent DLC(Which was dissected to make the original GTA Online Heists and The Doomsday Heist) Oh and an actual alien egg and a crashed UFO and aliens appear...
