I'm not gonna lie, I actually passed all these setups first try today. Well except for Sub Recon, because for some reason I ALWAYS get stuck on the easy missions yet pass the hard ones no problem.

I'm always having problems with Stromberg scanning setup. Every time it glitches and setup fails due to "Stromberg has been destroyed"

Stromberg can go into the water without conversion, the problem is when you need to get to the final point. You cannot pass the checkpoint for some time and after 5+ minutes your Stromberg starts burning, so mission failed.

Since this little update, the vote on next job screen seems broken.

For example. I start stunt race, on vote screen no stunt races but parachuting, transform races, ... Other stuff

I wouldn't even mind that. True, Lester and Madrazo pay more, and Los Santos Connection is still a fav of mine, but most Gerald missions can be done lightning fast even solo, nice quick bucks for in-between.

Good week without a doubt. Can't wait to do again the Bogdan Heist, even though I'd glitch to repeat it again just to avoid that setup with the hacking stuff, I've been killed 293842903 times.

 

As for the new races, couldn't care less.

I really hope they extend Humane Labs next week as well. I managed to finish 3 PB setups yesterday and now I don't even feel like turning my game on. After I finally finish the finale there is no way I could deal with randumbs doing HL this week. After I turned my game off yesterday I literally had a headache from dealing with idiots. How the f*ck do you destroy the Buzzard 5 f*cking times. Every time the idiot destroyed it I was either almost finished clearing the prison or I was in the f*cking riot van with Rashkovsky on my way to the Velum.

 

I'm really happy with the 2x contact missions even if it's a crappy contact I'm going to be grinding them while doing 1 setup a day.

I find it astonishing that they can put so many races in to the game. Why don't they spend some time verifying races instead?

 

Otherwise it's a great event week. No doubt next week will be Series A, Pac Standard and Act III, which will sort of equate to three weeks of double money on heists. I'm hoping they can still reward us with import/export before the next update comes. I don't think they've ever given us so many money making opportunities in-between updates. Are they trying to saturate the in-game market ahead of RDR2?

 

If you start a contact mission in free mode whilst flying in your jet, you usually spawn in the sky as it starts. Does Trevor have contact missions or are they Ron's? If he does, why is he not a contact in the phone? Trevor doesn't have a phone I think.

Did anyone of you break record in the new Issi Classic races and receive racing blonde tattoo for that? Rockstar Support were completely useless when I asked whether we should get it or not.

Got to admit, the Weeny Issi races weren't as good as I'd hoped, and I've raced all of them several times now.

 

The first thing that disappointed me was the lack of general interest in comparison to transform races, which usually had busy lobbies. People don't seem to buy into slow compact cars bumbling around stunt tracks, and rightly so. The car isn't suited for this type of circuit, and the more straights and tubes on the track, the more pedestrian the races seem to be. Take the track 'Repeater' for example, with only one curve that requires any driving skill at all.

 

With that being said, I actually had some good fun on several tracks. The Weeny Issi is hard to handle around corners and requires careful use of the throttle/brakes, and skilful drivers will benefit from this. The best track is 'The Issi Job' point-to-point race because of the way it transitions between stunt and real terrain, which was refreshing, and some of the crazy jumps in 'City Jumper' too. For some reason you can forward flip endlessly in the Issi and still retain control, and I managed seven flips in one jump, and landed it.

 

Unfortunately though, a bit too shallow and silly for most GTA racers, but if you've got few mates and want to try out some crazy stunts and spins in a crazy little car, these races can be fun for a while.

Yes, I did yesterday (early hours of the roll-out, of course); got a notification announcing the WR, got a couple of RP, got notification of Racing Blonde being unlocked, and it is available in tattoo parlor for me alright, so everything bingo.

 

Why, what happened?

 

Couple weeks earlier when the new transform races came out, I thought I broke the WR time yet didn't get notified, and it occurred to me that what probably has happened was somebody else had during my race clocked at an even better time, only that time won't show at the screen bottom right, so I was unaware that I was hunting a WR time already being outdated. Just a theory of mine, I normally don't pay attention to times.

The Bogdan Problem finale pays like hotcakes but it's an absolute bitch and a half making it there with all the tedious preps and setups of Act II lol. Fitting reward and all though I guess.

 

Your best bet is to finale hop via on call but that all but guarantees a decent cut lol.

Good luck finding one though. I keep getting set ups for act I & III instead.

 

I eventually got a Rescue ULP, I took it & stuck to the end ... I got a 15% for my trouble.

Yeah, the car is too small for those wide platforms, you feel like you're hardly moving. And don't get me started on the hosts who launch these with 5 and 7 laps, non-custom and with catch-up on...

Well, I broke a record which lasted quite a few hours until a modder finally beat it with a ridiculous time. However I didn't get world record notice and tattoo was still locked. When I repeated that race later several times I would have had to beat my own record as it was showing.

Good news, the Racing Blonde tat is buggy and doesn't always unlock, you have to contact our gods and beg their indulgence.
