Actually, the Dinghy is a worthy purchase since if you’re stuck swimming in the ocean you can spawn it nearby like you do the CEO Buzzard. Afaik the 2nd best option is calling for Merryweather boat pickup and shoot the poor sod in the face when he arrives, stealing the boat.

 

Pretty much the same thing, granted, but a bit less messy if you own it and go for the CEO spawn (that Merryweather boat driver might, as we all know, deserve being shot in the face for driving in circles around you like a retard).

The problem is the overwhelming majority of randoms don't listen. The set up itself is cool & very splinter cell-ish, but the randoms complicate it.

I made a few hundred thousands running a Blow up list multiple times a day. And although Gerald's helped me get the Buzzard early on, I rather have Lester or Martin.

And they added some new personal aircraft spawns at some point recently because my Akula is spawning right near the lighthouse on the other side of the ravine when I leave my facility, used to only spawn out in the farm fields by the highway.

Got my friend most of the way through Act I again last night but he had to leave, I left GTA on in rest mode so hopefully we can finish it with one last 2x payout tonight and move on to Act II.

 

Definitely looking forward to stealing that Avenger with a guy who can't even handle playing as a Paramedic in the Dead Courier setup...

Assuming the Lamar missions featured are the old ones that you can do solo then I'll be doing some of those over the course of the next week for sure. 

 

I'll be checking out the new races with interest as well.  A bit strange that the Issi Classic gets its own dedicated tracks but I won't complain.  It has proved to be a great buy anyway as first it was useful in the adversary mode, then it made an appearance in one of the transform races and now these new tracks released today.

Best is Paleto bay, then Grand Senora,Route 68, Zancundo,Sandy Shores, elite challenge is very possible with all of them-under 15 mins.

Not overly excited about this week's events. The stunt races are getting old. Old school street races would be more fun to have double money on. I would also like to see new race tracks for the hotring series.

Doesnt it spawn at the beach? the Dinghy? Like most boats do, or is that only with pegasus vehicles?

Or does it really spawn in the water near you?

I did it last week with randumbs just for a laugh. Took over five hours (including waiting times for the lobby to fill) and on at least five separate occasions five separate randumbs just drove the insurgent straight through the gates to try and get it to the delivery point and so instantly failing. Press “restart” and they do the same thing again. 

It turned from “doing it for a laugh” into “dear god I am going to get this damn mission done if it kills me” and it nearly did!

if you call it from your CEO vehicle menu while in the water, it does spawn right by you

After everything else I've picked up cheap recently, I think it'd be rude not to buy that useless truck, lol.

 

Another fine weeks gaming ahead for me. 

 

I do find it funny that only DDH finales are 2x. Don't get me wrong, greatly appreciate the cash/RP and the setups themselves do pay well mostly (finales too, naturally). But by doing just finales on 2x does encourage those that love to exploit them. (Not taking any shots mind). Just, if this is to help and encourage others to play DDH through, surely if anything, making the setups more attractive too is ideal to help many get through them. So many, including myself on some days, just finale hop for a spell. These jobs not at double, but knowing finales are, and that there's many running the exploit to be found too. Plus, some of these setups are very hard for some (Avenger), and so very long and tedious for others (Hard Drives).

 

Again, not knocking the 2x event week or players playstyles as I'm relishing my gaming at present.

But they are easy, when not glitching. Hard drives is just "park RCV properly", Avenger is about "hide in the left corner of hangar" and ULP is just "don't do LEEROY".
