Anyone seen buses outside of the LS urban area?

Unless you follow one out of the city, no. It states "Los Santos" on its marquee not San Andreas, therefore there is no reason why it should leave Los Santos. It is an urban bus anyway.

 

Oddly enough, during Storymode, Lester arrives in Paleto Bay on a Bus that isn't supposed to leave LS.

 

Dashounds are state coaches and do travel around LS and Blaine County.

In online there is (now?) parked buses at the Dashound bus station in the daytime…
At least thios is new for me, Always felt the bus station so empty...

I see more frequent buses spawn the streets now...

Buses are the secret to Criminal Damage (without going to Zancudo) and you'll find them leaving the city on the highway past the racetrack.
