4K Universe

Will the next GTA move to 4K universe and as a result dump all HD characters? 

And yet they haven't done HD LV/SF/VC

No, but they should still develop gta next as a 4k game.

Michael voice actor might not be around GTA Next's 2018 setting and Franklin already followed Michael's retirement plan in the hills. Trevor still one ambitious criminal and didn't own very much properties near the end to make him want to retire in Sandy Shores. Trevor may still give us another kick ass story campaign, but just shouldn't be a protagonists. Like how Johnny was a kick as protagonist and didn't take take Trevor's position during Los Santos.

I really hope they use the last remaining locations for GTA 6, but exclude San Fierro from the main game and fully develop it as a stories dlc in the 80's afterwards.

Not another reboot AGAIN, the HD universe itself shouldn't of been invented, GTA4 and 5 should of been 3D universe games.

God, another topic about this sh*t...

 

The only reason why they created a new universe with GTA IV is so they could create more realistic, upscale versions of the GTA cities, along with deeper characters and storylines, even though that last thing hasn't been really the case since TBOGT. Lots of people complained about the 3D era "dying", so it's very unlikely that they will switch universes ever again. Plus, the current universe only has two full games. It's 10 years old, but it still needs to be expanded. A lot.
