hmmm my setup was same in the modloader folder

have du kept the silent patch,limit adjuster ,no_dep etc oitside the folder

Ah Scheiße i really have no idea now 

I remember that it took loads of trial and error to do the mission ,but i did that few months ago so i dont rem it now

The mission was using some models (BALLAS3) which were not loaded in advance, hence if you have not loaded them on your own first (by seeing this particular model in the city) it would crash. Weasel model was also loaded kinda wrong, so I corrected that too, just in case.

I don't know if anyone has asked this yet.... But can I use this mod with the Things to Do in San Andreas Mod? I am asking this because I want all the features that he implemented, and some featurs that you yourself have done..

Big no! Do not do that! Only use Storyline Enhancement or TTDISA.

I just wish there was a new "uncut" mod like this, compatible with most mod and made from scratch. I was hoping to use it because it added the cut dialogue without TTDISA's changes, but since this mod is unfinished and the author doesn't even bother fixing the problems and finishing it, I neglected to click the download button. Hell, if a new mod like this was made, I would reinstall San Andreas.

Welcome to the world of modding where most of your favorite mods made by your favorite modders (sucks making a mod/doesn't active for many months or years/busy developing more important project) are mostly left with unfinished/broken/buggy problems.

 

Good luck waiting for someone who can take over and finishing your favorite mods or just fixing it up yourself.

Noticed a few bugs with this mod. And it seemed to come at completely random times.

I'd be playing fine for a few hours, crash, and then it would crash upon loading the same file several times. Seemed to go away after I removed and replaced conflicting mods.

 

I'm loving the cut dialogue, one of the few reasons I keep this mod, but yes, it is very buggy. The Green Sabre mission, for example, seemed to get stuck. After killing all of the ballas, a cutscene would start showing Carl getting arrested. With the mod though, the cutscene never triggers and i'm standing with a bleeding Sweet, around a bunch of dead ballas, with nothing else to do. Had to stop the mod in my modloader, finish the mission, then re-enable it.

 

Plenty more bugs like this too. It's a shame. That cut content and dialogue really adds to the replayability of the game... :(

That's what you get from a mod where the entire code of this mod is based on Things to Do in San Andreas, making it inevitably buggy as your average Bethesda game because there's probably leftover code for the exclusive TTDISA content. Doesn't help the mod author neglects to even update and fix all of the problems for this mod, leaving its unfinished carcass to rot to a bunch of corpse-eating worms.

 

I sincerely hope sooner or later, someone else actually skilled enough makes a mod like this by writing the code from scratch and not reusing code from other mods, while still keeping the vanilla gameplay intact.

I would defintely replay San Andreas if such mod was made, because I'm not interested in TTDISA's gameplay changes.

So, I'm coming back and I just wanted to say it's disappointing for a mod to be left unfinished like this. This mod had a lot of potential and I'm interested for a vanilla-friendly uncut content mod like this because Things to Do in San Andreas changes a lot of mainly gameplay content, breaks compability with most mods and the fact there has been no updates for this mod for the past 2 years now is heartbreaking.

 

Tons of cut dialogue and features in San Andreas prove this game had a lot more potential if it wasn't for the disk space limitations. And Rockstar didn't even bother restoring them when they ported it to PC, despite they can handle much more what consoles could've hoped to achieve.

 

A man can dream for another mod like this to come, but I hope someone actually caring and skilled enough would follow in this mod's footsteps and make that dream a reality. And if someone actually were to do so, I encourage them not to repeat this mod's mistake, as in make the code from scratch and not use code from TTDISA. At least take ideas from it. Maybe then I'll finally have a chance to replay San Andreas.

Yeah, it is a disappoinment... hope someone else take this project and make it thrives sooner or later.
