Old CMM back in the game and clueless

I turned GTA on for the first time in about 3 years, 100%'d single player again, much better on the Xbox One than the old 360, more detail it was a pleasure to play again. Now I'm done with SP I switched to online and was baffled by the options. I have 3 apartments full of cool vehicles, buzzard, hydra, insurgent even the fricking dump truck (I was feeling rich after the CMM payday), but now it all seems pretty much useless due to all the new additions and the massive price tags. I left myself a smidge over a mil which was a nice surprise but I have no clue how best to invest. Should i maybe do some associate work to get some practice again or just buy a office or something, they seem to be on sale right now. I'm on from 2200 until 0200ish most nights, if anyone fancies a crew or heist member give me a shout 'cos I feel a bit lost right now and have bad memories of playing heists with randoms. Would be cool to do the CMM again too if anyone's keen.
