Fleeca Heist worth doing with double money

I see a lot of randoms leaving this heist when I'm hosting. Don't dismiss this just because its the first Heist. It actually is pretty good payout with the double money at the moment.

1. Only need 2 players to start.

2. Only 3 missions (2 setup, and finale), and these missions are very easy, quick and straightforward.

3. Final payout for the host at 60% is roughly $175,000, with the setup costs you're stil netting 160,000 +. That's a decent payout for 3 easy missions. Even the helper gets around $120,000 plus the setup payouts.

So its actually pretty decent money.

Of course you'd know its pretty good :), more for the people who aren't as informed on the job payouts, etc.

To put it in perspective, this is actually comparable (or even better) to I/E at the moment, which is a well known way to make very good money

More like people don't like doing Fleeca Scope Out and not getting the finale

I don't join too many Fleeca setups because of being chumped out of a finale TOO many times in the past, and part of that isn't the host being greedy. It's a low level host that doesn't know better than to invite just me and not the whole lobby!

Ah that sucks Shadow, I'm pretty high level so wouldn't make that same mistake. Must be really frustrating though as the setup missions pay hardly anything :(

Maybe they are leaving because they want to short-cut their way to the finale ?

Most of them would help you with your setups if there's a way to ensure them that you would invite them to the finale.

Greed is the problem.

You either meet greedy hosts who think you deserve 15% even if you help them with all the setups or greedy players who join the finale and demand 40% or 50%

Greedy players who keeps spamming the ready/not ready to extort more money from the hosts is super annoying and most of the time they suck and likes to go rambo getting themselves kill wasting everybody's time!

IamCourtney

I've been carrying random noobs through it for fun, giving them 70% on finale, and unlocking trade price on the Kuruma is a nice side benefit for them too.

It is really good money for a newish character and decent money for veterans, but a pair of players who can run Doomsday Act I efficiently will earn even more.

I join heists on call frequently, so I'm in the position of joining Fleeca frequently too.

Half the time, I'll do the same as IAmCourtney above. Help them pass it quickly, take 30%, and just breeze from Scope Out to Finale so they can move on and do other heists.

But the other half of the time, I'll have my finger hovering over Circle/B/Quit, ready to leave before the host can launch. Why? Because Scope Out is worse than watching paint dry. It's soo boring!! The finale is boring too! Only bright spot is Kuruma and that flashes by too quick.

With all the random things to do in GTA Online, being trapped doing Fleeca for the umpteenth time is not the most entertaining option. It's nice for a quick buck or helping noobs, but time is fleeting and it's best to spend that time having fun.

OT:

Is Fleeca worth doing double money?

Depends on how quickly you get it done and what your priorities are.

The only problem with Fleeca I've encountered during this event week are hosts, not randoms joining you. If you host, you're fine, and you'll complete it anyways, sooner or later, but if you happen to join as a guest, you may not get an invitation to the finale, which is problematic. I don't mind helping someone out and doing the entire run together - 40% is still worth it, but wasting your time on setups just to get ditched because the host turned auto invites on can be annoying to say at least.

As we speak, Fleeca is indeed one of the very best ways to earn money. 170k for 60% cut per 20 minutes (at average, including all preps, driving and loading).

I honestly don't have a problem with Scope Out. When it starts, I wait a second, hoping other player starts running towards the car, and pretending I don't have control over my character yet. If it works and I'm the passenger, I have few minutes to read a book.

^ You still have to do the hack lol

The hack is suggested (and takes over the screen for the passenger) but it's not actually required. If you do nothing, the screen will stay up until you reach Lester's. Then he'll say something to the effect of "did you finish? No? Errr...well you'll have to get it done next time" and moves on.

This is the one time he lets us pass to the next one without completing the hack. Probably because it's the introduction. As Nihilist said, it's perfect if you need to go AFK.

I think I could enjoy this 2x Heist by hosting it and inviting new/low rank players that need some money. That's a way as any to have fun.

If you both have access to the Act 1 finale then it is WAY more beneficial to grind that back and forth this week.

I've been doing this for years.  I'm a GTAO charity.

I wish I could re-do this one lol, I made it to the one after that and never finshed it as host...

Than I downsized to a low end home so Lester would stop calling me.

lol I do the same thing if the host starts before I can leave. I decide I can waste a few minutes browsing the forums

I'm currently doing exactly that. To us it might not be that much money but for beginners it's an awesome start up money.

Exactly.

Plus, I much rather play with new, low skilled players who want to complete the mission, earn money and have fun rather than veteran/skilled players who might quit in the middle of the mission or things like that.
