BossN
So the bug behave itself like so: some textures (always the same) begin to flicker and sometimes turns into stripes .I determine that the problem is in the d3d8.dll which is directX file i suppose.Any ideas how to fix this?I know I can just delete it but the game looks much "flatter" without it Here is video.Look at the windows of the building they are turning into the weird shapes and moving around. Another GTA Fan
I had this issue in GTA SA. For me it was the LOD model of the building that was overlaying on the normal model causing it to have that same effect. Have you tried playing around with the draw distant settings? Maybe increase it more and see if it still occurs.
BossN
Nah its definetally not the LOD.I have reinstall the game but promblem is still there
guard3
Looks to me as if the light model clips through the building. It may happen with 3D objects if their faces are too close together. Do you have any mods that disable backface culling, like SkyGFX? It may be the culprit. If not, I guess you could move the lights

guard3
What if you use a clean game? If a clean game has that issue then it could be your hardware. But moving the object slightly is enough to fix it

guard3
Well, do not disable backface culling then. Maybe your hardware doesn't work well with the game (and by hardware I don't mean the drivers, I mean the actual gpu). Use stock game and try to move the lights a bit. If you move them and it still persists, I don't have any other idea.

Seems its easier to play without culling an gfx this problem kinda remind me of Z-fighting problem Edited June 14, 2018 by BossN
Shadowboy203
Sup there!, looks like I can help. A problem can be that the models are corrupted, so the game is using some random models for it. I don't think so.. Are you using cracked version of it? If you do, then this is a common bug. Try reinstalling DirectX, or checking for updates of DirectX. If it doesn't work, you can try reinstalling the game (reinstalling fixes most common bugs) and then testing it. If you are using any mods, then you SHOULD remove it if you wanna fix the problem. If you are using any texture mods, you may have left another piece of texture pack there, and the game just switches between those 2 textures. Try checking and investigating in your game's directory. guard3
So what? "game is using random models", "game switches between 2 textures", are you kidding me? I don't have to be the OP to reject wrong suggestions which clearly indicate that you have no idea what you're talking about, so don't try to outsmart me. The problem is obviously the light model clipping through the building. If it's hardware dependant, he can't do anything other than change the model position.
