Yep same here (with regards to them potentially offering GTA dollars as compensation).  My character was created 3rd Oct 2013, Level 676, spent $213mil according to my social club stats.  I play less nowadays, normally log in do objectives (if they aint too much of a pain), steal & sell a gang car, do a headhunter & log out just to keep some money rolling in really.  The idea of re-buying & modding everything....*sigh*.  Re-buying properties & business....Let alone re-collecting all the various rare car spawns I had.  Then there's losing all the unlocked/event clothing....

I'm not exactly pissed, this is just a game after all but it's just disapointing & crap frankly.

They can roll back your account to last weeks save point, much like how time machine works on a Mac.

But were you playing in the last couple of days? everything I've read suggests this has only affected players that were playing before, during or just after this latest maintenance period.

But It already rolled back to years ago when there were only two properties.

I would have thought/hoped you are right & they can simply go back to a previous save point or back up to rectify the situation.

I did play yesterday yes, when I said I play less I still log in most days just for a short 15-20 min session to do the activities I listed.  The days of 4, 5 or 6 hour sessions are long gone.

Something was strange, indeed. I couldn't find any personal vehicles, but did never call the mechanic to check what options I had. However, I just checked in for one race, and I had some of my oldest cars (most 3+ years old) available, and not the vehicles I have purchased in recent time, i.e. this year or so.

Nothing of this is tied to money glitches or anything else than Rockstar's inability to do anything on this game without f*cking it up completly.

All of my properties are completely gone too.  Bunker, hangar, facility, ceo office, vehicle warehouse, 3 special cargo warehouses, MC clubhouse, 4 MC businesses, etc.... all of these things upgraded and/or full.... 60 car garage in office as well.  Unbelievable.  This is disgusting.

I'd take a guess that it was the properties that got deleted and not the cars. You'll probably still have them if you look in the heist list or a race.

when I checked in a race yesterday, I only had access to some of my oldest cars, and not the types I have bought in recent time (this year or so). Cannot say for sure though, I went offline quite fast after I noticed everything was wiped.

Well, at least they acknowledge the problem. Most times they'll reply with the usual "we're unable to verify your claim, screw ya, ha ha" BS copy paste message.

To be honest, thats their standard response regarding issues.

 

Unless it gets to a higher support tier (y'know, after all the reset this and that rubbish), it won't be fully acknowledged.

PS4 here, was on last night and all appeared to be in order, though I only really went to the facility for DDH runs... my console would've been in rest mode as the only time I ever fully power down is when I'm on vacation.

That was awesome! I did the exact same thing just a minute ago when I saw this thread! I mean I spawned in Arcadius, checked all my garages with my assistant (my facility is also not full because the last solo dupe was using it and I sold all the Elegies I had in there already), called for a Retro and used the same route to go to LSC and sell it (but I get about 100k more than you do for mine. Also my bank account is way bigger lol).

 

No solo glitches on xb1 for a week so I haven't been online lately.

I lost an apartment a ceo business, a yacht, a sports car + bunch of other stuff like weapons and upgrades. Some strange things to note though.. Thankfully my lowrider wasn't in the garage of the house I lost but the interior of the car was stripped, i lost nearly everything except the paint, half a million there spent and i aint even finished restoring it to its former state.  Then there is the yacht, well its gone, no captain in phone, but.. when i check Dock Tease app it is reading as though I own the Orion (Originally purchased the Pisces) and it gives me the option to upgrade for 1 million to pisces 2 mill to Aquarius.  If I want to restore my yacht to its original state will cost me 2 million.  I currently have about 3k.  No idea if by upgrading the yacht it will appear, or perhaps I can never own a yacht again because of this glitch?  Anyway this hurts me bad because I do not buy shark cards and i really detest grinding in games.

Today and yesterday i contacted with chat about that when joining online mode and alert popups about unable retrive charachter invertory or unable connection bla bla bla bla....In chat they are told to change dns,reset winsock but it doenst helped.After few hours i tryed again and joined to online mode normally and started heist of PAC but after sometimes again popup alerts about unable connect to community servers something like that.And few times it kicked from online mode.I dont know what happened yesterday.I think this is first of world game that have a too much problems

PS4. I didn't play for 12 hours before the scheduled maintenance, and logged on a few hours after. I haven't lost anything at all. Sure sucks for them that did though.

I think some people take it upon themselves to decide how others should feel sometimes. Wind your neck in, read posts properly and think twice before dribbling all over your keyboards. Jumping down people's throats won't fix anything, whether you're affected or not.

I personally don't give a single f*ck if someone glitches money, dupes cars, uses a freeze money glitch to get everything for free or use any other kind of cheat as long as it does not affect me or other players.

I understand that many people are sick of people running around in godmode or teleport around to get cheap kills, I'm sick of these myself. But, that does not mean that I have to go around claiming that people affected by Rockstar's f*ckups are cheaters or claim that I'm sad that not more people got caught up in said f*ckup.
