In-Game properties have been deleted

I lost everything. The only thing that I have left is my outfits and the money I had saved up (40m or so). All personal vehicles, special vehicles, bunkers, warehouses, pegasus vehicles, yacht+++ is wiped.

Yep, checked. Checked again today, and everything was wiped. Nothing left. Indeed a tragedy. I have been playing less and less now, but it is a matter of principle. I have played a lot since 2013, and it is unacceptable to just wipe out days of work. Just very unlucky that I was online during the update. I don't know if everyone being online during the update/server issues was affected.

That's sad, I was wondering if rockstar could undo this stupid "wiping" by pressing the Control & Z buttons. f*cking unbelievable sh*t

Thankfully I didn't lost anything but seriously, for a company who earns more than freaking Star Wars, this is f*cking deplorable and pathetic.

 

Hope you get all what you lost soon @irish.chr, I would throw this game to the trash if it something like this happened to me.

I am going to log on shortly and check my account. I'm on PS4, and I am actually a bit nervous. If I do end up being affected, I am going to lose my sh*t.

Looks like people that were playing through the maintenance or had their ps4 on rest mode (console remaining active) are the ones caught up in this mess, i hope it gets sorted for them affected

I just got a reply from support. The usual

 

"Thank you for contacting Rockstar Support. We are aware of this issue and are working on a resolution. We apologize for the inconvenience and will respond back with an update when available."

 

We'll see what happens. I am quite concerned they won't be able to revive all my personal vehicles, though.

They can access old data for everyone, or so I would have thought, so if they're aware and working just stay offline until.. then.

Holy wow I had the same issue, was tempted to restart my xbox but after about 10 minutes it finally loaded me into a game. 

 

No issues with my garages on XB1, all my PV are fine but i also didnt leave my console on during maintenance, which really seems like the likely culprit.

Hopefully this gets fixed for you guys, I believe it will, just be patient.

Exactly this. Their best bet is to just shut down the servers for a while, fix the issue without breaking something else, then switch them back on.

Will probably be their biggest compensation ever given too. At least 20million if one affected was a supercar enthusiast.

 

But knowing Rockstar; oh sorry you lost 30 million dollars worth of content, heres 1 million.

Most sad part is to read some glitchers weren't affected. They still struggle to write an accurate detection script.

If they can't give it back, they owe me at least 60-70 million. The yacht alone was 10 million, plus the bunker, facility, office, hanger etc etc... It adds up.

Same here. It would have to be a very big compensation, and if they choose to solve it that way, I am out anyway. Not going to re-buy all of my personal vehicles, properties etc again, and customize them as I had them before the wipe. It would take a very long time. Not worth it.

Just logged in to check and thankfully I was not affected. Also on PS4.

 

btw I havent played in more than a week and didnt play during the server maintenance.

 

I hope you guys get your stuff back. That totally sucks. I would be pissed a lot.
