Game Crashes During Escort Service

Hi,

 

I'm attempting 100% completion and all I need to finish are the last remaining story line missions. The game will always crash during Donald Love's Mission 'Escort Service'. It happens when the Securicar is nearing the Callahan Bridge. I think it happens when the Cartel are supposed to spawn in.

 

I've already tried compatibility mode and restarting the machine as well as closing other applications. I'm not sure what else to do.

 

I'm using the Steam version on Windows 10 with SilentPatch and Xinput.

 

If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

I solved it.

 

I opened the save in the original retail version (used an earlier version of SilentPatch if that matters at all and no Xinput), completed the mission and everything was fine.

 

Still not sure what caused it though.
