Whilst I think GTA Online has warped into a game I am not so fond of now - all the weird wacky races etc, when the 'make your own' street races were so much fun - I think the biggest missed opportunity with the game, for me, was the individual instances of the businesses and buildings.

 

I was really looking forward to making a proper Biker Gang with my mates, all chipping in to get a cool base, having proper ranks - like you would in a normal MMORPG - but with it being instanced, it kind of sucked the fun out of it and we all slowly drifted out the game.

 

I REALLY hope in Red Dead II we can form a gang and all take ownership of a singular mission... but it will probably be more of the same
