Already had a real hard time yesterday to stay in my friend's session... Sold a partially filled bunker (thus solo doable), resupplied my coke facility, bought resups for my bunker, then I proceeded to help out my friend. When he was done with resupplying, I logged off...

 

This eventweek won't draw me back in... The doomsday heist act I finale... Hell no..., Simeon missions? Us vets will probaly have to do the returning on foot in order to receive a 10K plus payout (and yes that's the double factor included)... All discounts? I have it all, so no use for me there, but I could have used the discount for the Titan I purchased last week, but ok. 

 

Fleeca is perhaps the only thing I might do again (to help a friend out).

 

Ah well... Really can't complain, but I'm a lil bored atm, thus mostly stay away from GTA-online the past two weeks... We definitely need something fresh soon...

This event week isn't the best but certainly better than the last one (to me) and there's quite alot of PVE action to be had for double the rewards.

...I snark (because I can!), but honestly, double-money Simeon missions? That's ...not at all bad - you can string them out for decent money, and it's always been fun to get creative and dick around with the likes of Blow Up (I have fond memories of the first time I did it - took nearly 20 minutes to thread each car between the petrol pumps over the road, then blow the whole lot sky high...).

 

Also, I'm guessing the next update will be both expansive and pricey - they've had decent discounts on offices and hangars a lot, and even with 25% off, tempting players with things like the Deluxo is a sneaky-but-effective way of draining wallets of all that extra cash before all the new stuff arrives.

One part of me gives no f*cks about this week, because money is not my priorities in GTAO.
But the other is butthurting a bit, because 2x heists are sort of rare event and im going to miss it because of night shifts.

So next week we get double on Series A, Humane Raid, and the Bogdan Problem. Then the week after that we get double on Doomsday Heist and Pac Standard, right?

Why are heists so hard to play? Half the time, they're bugged or just boot me out for no apparent reason.

 

For example, today, as soon as a heist setup started, there was no HUD, and I couldn't get my weapon wheel out. So I decided to kill myself to start it again, but of course, the game gets stuck at the wasted screen.

 

Also, Simeon pays crap, eve with the double play, and his missions are so damn repetitive and boring. Not once did I come across GTA Today, either. It was always Chasers, Rockford Roll, or Where Credit's Due.

You'll hardly ever see GTA Today because it requires actual skill under quite a tight time limit. It's easy once you know how to do it, but not for the casual noob.

I used to do this easily back in the day. Others would struggle sometimes, but with decent players, you could get it done. You don't even need to be that good to complete this mission. It's the only decent paying job from Simeon as well, and it would be even better with double cash and RP.

I see a Casco purchase in my near future, it's one I've been planning to get eventually anyway, but no better time to actually do so than when it's on sale.

 

I also may move my hangar to Fort Zancudo so I can access and fly over it without a wanted level.

Great week though, I do love a Fleeca run, and Simeone's missions are a doddle too during the quieter moments too. Great RP for stealing cars.

Quick question to you guys! If I buy an office with my 2nd character, am I gonna see all the clutter (money and items) that my first character has on the floor?

2x Fleeca - F*ck yes I can finally get the achievement for getting 25 platinum awards in heists. Plus almost any really low level noob can do it without too many issues. If I get a low level that does well in the first 2 setups I'll give them 60% so it helps them build up a bit of a bank and it gives me almost 100k quickly and very easily.

 

2x Prison Break - I've done this heist a few times and really hate it but at least I might be able to host it soon and get the discounts on this character and get the achievement for splitting the payout 25% between everyone.

 

2x Simeon missions - His missions can get boring really quickly but at least they are easy. Made a Blow Up 3 playlist and just going to keep replaying that and afking for 15 minutes until I actually want to play.

 

  

 

A minute of playing with my Deluxo and going afk for 15 minutes for 7800 rp and 40k really can't complain about that

 

sales suck but I have been thinking about getting a Casco and even though I'll never use it I'm having a hard time saying no to the Prison Bus for 385k

 

Overall I'm pretty happy with this event week

Mixed bag week for me: I've had more than enough money for quite some time now, I see 2x events as just a good time to easily hop into co-op playlists.

Simeon Missions & Fleeca job on 2x will make it a fun little week for my crew & playing with randoms.

 

DDH: Act 1 & Prison Break, eh too much headache & time consuming for much attention from me.

For me it'd have to be 3x to make it worth the effort, mainly due to my crew & I don't enjoy either of those that much.

Replaying the Prison Break had me realizing the amount of detail they really put into these Heists... all for free too. Good lord.

So wait there’s an award for splitting the payout equally? Do u know whats the name for this award? I feel dumb for not knowing thos lol

Dragged my noobie pal through Act I, he walked away $1.5mil richer despite his mom roasting him for "not driving/shooting/flying like Courtney does" over nearly half of the two hours or so it took us. I was laughing my ass off at first but it just kept going and got awkward. His own mother... brutal.

 

A competent duo swapping hosting duties could make some decent bank here as long as they can stand the grind. Personally I'm enjoying running a charity assistance program for the next little while.

Literally only had time to pop on and buy it as busy yesterday. Hadn't really thought longer term, lol.

 

Probably be a laugh to throw off the mountains, and rolling up on someone with a few buddies in it I imagine would surprise a few with all the tanks and flying cars/bikes and aircraft out there. ;)

Cruising with that bus is such an out-of-nowhere thing that I really cannot avoid to buy it. Next time I'll go in a crowded lobby and drive here and there in LS.
