I very happy they didn't forget about Tenchu's action and finally decided to put it in game. Plus Bloodborne's fighting is very exciting. Overall can't imagine how much fun this combo would be. Unfortunately none tricky weapons and two hands wielding swords, guess they left it for BBII.

Also noticed kinda a lot of things has came from BB, like some environments look so familiar.

Yes! That's part of what excited me. Honestly though I bet this is a very small glimpse of the whole game as you know soulsborne games it's best with the surprises of the unknown! I think they showed a trick weapon very fast somewhere in the trailer but as I said I bet dual wielding is in there somewhere. I mean.. we are samurai!

Also, I have this strange feeling that bloodborne 2 is going to be announced tonight...

So it's 100% sure it's a Souls-like game? I never heard of or played older From Software titles. I have no clue if Tenchu is like a proto-dark souls.

From what I learnt from all information you playing with one handed all beaten up ninja that eventually didn't die when he had too. So the main feature of game are prostheses which will be deadly, I guess, firearms and such in Bloodborn firearm manner. Technically you will play like with Chikage and Evelyne, plus stuff from Tenchu, like hook and may be others.

What I hope for, more stealth and sadistic kills from Tenchu, well, I liked them.

Dunno about BBII, that's will be overkill from this E3, too much great games, like counting Ghost of Tsushima and others from different genres.

What else expect from same director and developers. Tenchu was like Souls games only in terms of difficulty, in Tenchu more than one face to face combat usually would be lethal.

Tenchu is nothing like Dark Souls.

It's a ninja stealth game. You choose your tools to carry like grappling hook, shuriken, poisoned food, etc. A fight can break out if you get caught, it can be tough, but not in a dodge-roll / parry fashion like Dark Souls. Much simpler and doesn't have spongey health.

This game does seem to feature a lot of stealth kill / backstab animations and tool usage. Looks a lot like a more flexible Soulsborne.

yep🙂 tenchu is a way different game but this one is like a souls game in terms of combat/difficulty and animations. but the tenchu part comes from of course the theme and setting. i read on their site for more info and it mentioned stealth kills too!!😮

Actually Tenchu combat had rolls and timing attacks, no parrying though. I'm only sad, but who knows, again no Rikimaru, I always in soul games tried to recreate him, gladly a lot of stuff and character customization in dark souls hits the theme, at least in second and third.

If I can remember, there was a parry in Tenchu 4 (basically the one for Wii and PSP). I'm talking about the Tenchu that features first person fighting and short haired Ayame.

You need to keep deflecting incoming attacks with motion controller on Wii and analog stick on PSP. You are allowed to hit when you succeeded. lol.

I guess that wasn't Tenchu, but forgot it's new name. Never had Wii or PSP, that's why may be never heard about it.

This is what it's called. Tenchu Shadow Assassins. It's called Tenchu 4 in Japanese version. The most slow-paced Tenchu but a lot of stealth kill variation and elaborative tools.

This one is terrible, I though you meant Shinobido or Wrath of Heaven. The birth of stealth assassins probably was best.

Good lord. I prefer Shinobido back in the day.
