Why can run and accelerate cars without skipping the flight?

 

Press Y for Gym Dialogue exactly after 2 seconds after purchasing the flight ticket, so you dont need to reverse the cars....

New 4-Star Property Glitch - unlock all safehouse garages on a new game start.

 

This exploit takes advantage of some extra codes inserted in the remastered version of San Andreas. Spamming the Sprint button before the Airport Scene will unlock all safehouses for purchase at the beginning of the game. I suspect this would work on Android if I had a controller attached, but so far this glitch has been confirmed on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and WinStore.  A minor side effect, icons for stores are displayed before the interiors unlock.

Wow, what a time to revisit this forum after 5 years. 

 

Was staring at this on sale on the PSN store for PS4, thought about getting it to do a Master Save (because why do anything).

 

Do you suspect it will work on the PS4, any reason why it shouldn't?

The PS4 scripts I was provided match the scripts from PS2v2, which does not contain the added code that triggers the 4-star property glitch. However, if your game seems to be based on the mobile version (scroll-wheel menu controls) then I'd expect this new glitch to work.

 

The description I read on the PlayStation Store suggest that the PSN version is a "remastered" game. I'm not 100% confident that the scripts I was provided are used when playing the game. I can't view the encrypted saves used on PS3/4 or Xbox 360/One to verify the script version actually used. It's not that I don't trust my source, but I didn't do the work myself, only have one example, and the WinStore scripts I was provided don't appear to be used by the game while playing. My current hypothesis is that it's not always easy to find the scripts being used, and what is easily available may be debug scripts only used while testing. Confident will improve as more players report success or failure with different versions of the game.

Note: Spamming sprint should not be necessary. Holding the sprint button as the game starts should reliably trigger the glitch.

I'm saying that I have reason to doubt the 4-Star Properties trick will work on PS4. The best evidence so far suggests it won't.

Just tried it on PS4, didnt work, tried starting new tame several times never saw Ganton flash.

 

Game looks incredibly cabbage on PS

PS4 does not have "mobile" like remaster.

Its quite diffrent; Basicly PS2 but with cutsongs+1080p support.

I need advice,please.  I am playing on downgraded steam version and trying to collect the AP Sentinel from St Marks Bistro. I get om0 successfully from bike school but when I enter the car and drive it only a short distance, I get wasted. Any tips to help me out?

The Sentinel is supposed to be deleted so naturally, if it happens, CJ is deleted along with the Sentinel and dies. You will have to destroy the Sentinel during the cutscene and then use another vehicle to push the wreck to some garage where you then renew the Sentinel.

Yes but I  dont have time to destroy it before it gets deleted and I get wasted. I hold the phone call til that cutscene starts. Then I answer Catalinas call. Drive the sentinal a short distance and either get wasted or cutscene ends when I exit the car (then instructed to go to the airport. I never have time to destroy the car. Could this be due to being steam downgraded? or am I doing something wrong? ...and, if I kill Maccer to keep him from getting in, will the mission fail?

No need to destroy the Sentinel, just kill Paul with parachute to fail mission and drive AP Sentinel back to garage.

I dont think that would preserve the proofing? Also as soon as mission fails if not destroyed, the sentinel will be deleted. Or, if you have done your method,  can you provide a video showing it? This would be a majorly improved method, but sounds very implausible

That video is impressive but useless. He kills paul with a move pressing spacebar while entering passenger side (instant death to driver) but cant be done here because spacebar skips cutscenes (this is my problem, attack key also skips the cutscene making this car impossible to obtain for me. What can I do? Your vid was most impressive. If someone makes it work on a US keyboard please let me know.

Based on what I see in the scripts, I'm expecting this strategy to work as described. The mission ends rather suddenly at this point if the car is destroyed or any of the three special actors are dead. A few notes:

The proofings are never removed from the vehicle. If you can keep it then the proofings should be preserved.

If the Sentinel is destroyed then so are the three special actors. This strategy should skip these codes.

 

This method of ending the mission doesn't include instructions to remove the area restricted to peds and cars that was established at the beginning of the mission. The restricted zone covers most of the area around Caligula's Casino. I'm expecting this glitch to be most notable at the entrance to the Casino, and on the roads to the south and east.

Thank you all for your help! Yes OrionSR, switching to LV gym moves let me kill paul with parachute leaving the car (proofing intact) in the street. And as SuperSisely stated, I simply drove it to my garage. Why isn't this method included in any guides I've seen? My only issue with making any methods work for this car were that pressing fire key ended cutscene too early. Using gym moves was a good workaround.thanks again! Maybe I'll get as lucky with that damned Infernus?

Can you please comment on the predicted glitch that peds and cars won't spawn near the casino? My mapping software isn't terribly precise so I'm not sure what is included in the restricted zone.

 

Note that restricted areas are saved, so I'm expecting this to persist.

Hello, I'm new here and I'm not sure if it's been done already but I managed to get the AP Sultan and Packer on the remastered version (Xbox 360, the garbage port version).

 

The method I used is an extended version of the method Badboyhero1000 used to get off the bike and
obtain the EC Nebulas, and requires both info icons available.

 

Though the method shown in that video worked for the Nebulas, It didn't work for me to get the vehicles that show up after the Terminator cutscene, as CJ was permanently put back on the bike. So I did some experimenting and managed to get them using the Police icon to break the bike cutscene, and the hospital icon to break the truck cutscene. It's a one time thing, so I grabbed the AP Packer, AP Sultan, FP/EP/CP BF-400, and the FP/EP/CP Sultan for fun.

I made a video of the AP Sultan's proofings, I couldn't record any further unfortunately but I went more in depth in the description.

The uploader said EP/FP Sanchezs and EP/FP BMXs have almost same codes from main.scm, so he thought all 3 EP/FP vehicles have same method.

Some people may know about this already, but I believe many dont.

You can use the mod menu to remove previously added modifications if you regret having added them.

Just dont install any modificions and all vehicles that you enter and then exit while having the menu will have their modifications removed (its important to select a modification, if you select a color or paintjob this will not work).

It's way easier when you use nitro or use the undrowning glitch but... knock yourself out :D

This was found a while ago, but never transfering both original colors from a vehicle, so I though it would be good to record:

Now vehicles that have an "useless invisible" unique secondary color could become useful by transferring it to a car that has both colors 1 and 2 visible.

I have never been able to really understand how Impound garages work, and I always found them risky. Because of this, I tried to obtain the DP/MP/EP/FP Packer from "Just Business" in a different way. And I succeded after lots of tries. I used the undrowning spot at the Panopticon Mill and managed to drive it all the way to the small beach in Flint County. The Packer may sometimes get stuck underwater, as the bottom is not completely flat and this vehicle is particularly heavy and hard to accelerate. Another difficult aspect is driving out of the water, which sometimes may also require CJ to push the Packer in order for it to be taken out. Going in reverse is very helpful, as this vehicle seems to have rear traction. Avoid going onto the beach too much for the push or you'll get the well-known four star wanted level. I have managed to push the Packer onto the beach without getting the wanted level. After the Packer is back on the roads again (which again may be hindered as occasionally a Ranger or an Enforcer may drive off the hill and forcefully smash into the Packer, pushing it back into the water), you're pretty much safe if you dodge the bullets, as that is the only vulnerability of this vehicle. Then you must quickly and accurately park the Packer in the Doherty Garage in San Fierro (so that it doesn't take too many bullets or CJ may be too slow and an officer will open the door of the cab and bust him). After the Packer is put in the garage properly and is safe and sound, all you have to do is return to Los Santos to save the game. For anyone interested, I have not recorded this process as it has taken well over 15 tries. I tried out multiple undrowning spots, and this was the best one, as the area was large enough. The Packer may also be successfully undrowned at the Hankypanky Point spot (although in most attempts it rolls over and explodes, as the area is considerably hilly), but you've got nowhere to go with it. Trying to go along the Red County shoreline, you will encounter a big lump of sand just below the bridge connecting Los Santos to Las Venturas. No matter how hard you try to accelerate, the Packer will not be able to go over the lump. Going the other way around the edge of Red County and Las Venturas will be worthless as well, since the bottom of the sea becomes mostly unsolid and the small portion that is solid is not enough for the Packer to go around. It sure is a hassle if you want to avoid the Impound.

Today I managed to obtain the RC Tiger. There are 2 methods. One is faster and easier but you only get the RC Tiger, and other is harder and more time consuming but you will aslo obtain the AP RC Goblin, which saves 1 mission attempt.

This is the video where both vehicles are obtained (only the first 30 minutes are interesting, because htey show the setup, the remaining is just me pushing the Tiger with the Goblin):

 

Next is the video where I show how to only obtain the RC Tiger. Since the setup is the same, this time I used some cheats to speed up the process and make a shorter video. But the cheatless setup can be seen in the video above:

Wow, this whole process looks insane regarding required time and effort. Great job obtaining these things. It's a shame they can't be used in any way other than as trophies.

This week, the UC2 Sentinel was obtained:

 

This sentinel cannot be recreated because no other vehicle has both primary and secondary colors 24. It can also be used to transfer these colors to a vehicle that shows both colors, so this unique but "invisible" secondary color is visible. The secondary color 24 can be found on the vehicles Dune and Cement Truck, but not with primary color also being 24.

 

To be able to navigate while "blind", I used a trail of cameras from Architectural Espionage. I put the tourist on the back of a Packer and kill him where I need the camera to be:

 

This will deactivate the ability to use mod garages, but this can be fixed by starting Architectural Espionage again and either pass it or fail.

 

You will need to push the vehicle to a safehouse and buy it, then save the vehicle inside a garage (I choose Wang Cars and Doherty Garage because I believe those are the easiest options). If you dont want to use OM0, you can suicide inside a garage with the Sentinel to fail the mission. The mission doesnt need to be started with OM0, as the player can just push the Sentinel to a garage and suicide.

 

If you chose the OM0 method, its important to start the mission a second time, because it is not safe to save the game or start another mission before doing so. Progress the mission until the Liberty City part. As you are about to kill the last enemy, keep the menu ready for closing to gain movement during the next cutscene. Wait for the second plane to appear and close the menu and jump from it (if you jump before that, you will be teleported back to the plane and get a permanent yellow blip at Las Venturas Airport).
