Any Beer Hat exploits that still work?

I've been playing GTA online since 2014, from the humble, low key beginning all the way to now where we have things like the Doomsday heists, flying cars, bikes and the mighty Hunter. but I regrettably missed the character transfer and didn't get to take unique clothing with me to PS4.

 

Does anyone know or can confirm for me if there is still a yet unpatched method of obtaining (ie, glitching) the beer Hats? Assuming they don't return in some form this coming 4th of July.

I've seen  few videos involving a character swap and director mode exploit, but they're dated and I don't wish to try unless anyone can comment on obtaining them recently through complex glitches.

 

One of the few things I genuinely miss from the ps3 days, hope next week's event/discount is more exciting than what we have right now.

I don't know,  I bought all of them when they were accidentally available for purchase. 

 

I only wear like two of them though

Certainly hope so, regret I wasn't on next gen when there was a way to make them appear in the stores.

 

Since RDR2 will be their nest big focus, I can see them milking GTA Online as much as possible over the summer.

The only way to get them so far without modding is through the Director Mode outfit glitch.

The director mode glitch still Works? Can you run me through the steps or a good video? Some youtubers rush the steps without actually detailing them.

I have one Beer Hat and I have no idea how I got it given I've little interest in them.

its in my special hats section...I made an outfit with a Lovefist t shirt in the end and Glam rock friendly fancy trousers.

If you're on PC, yes.

 

If you're on console, zero chance I'm afraid.

 

Beer hats need to be stat unlocked, so unless you've unlocked them before, they won't save onto your outfits even if you did manage to find the right item of clothing to do the DM glitch with.

 

I know one guy over on another forum thinks he can get them without having to get them unlocked, but he's never actually shown any proof or posted the steps for fear of it getting patched, so I'd say there's a chance but it's so small based on the current released glitches that I'd probably leave it for now until a glitch comes out specifically for clothing that needs to be unlocked

I don't think it's possible to actually get those hats with Director mode glitches, the components lists don't include the beer hats either.

 

Also, the DM glitch that can give you outfits like that is not available currently, the one that's active now is different and it doesn't give hats.

You may be out of luck, OP. Maybe they’ll bring them back for those who missed them. They are quite fun to wear, outside of the dunce cap. 

 

On a a side note, regarding the mention of Director Mode outfits; what the f*ck is the appeal? They all look awful and utterly ridiculous, and not in a good way.

Nope, that's another that needs to be unlocked and isn't component related, so can't be glitched on console. Radio t-shirts rely on luck-of-the-draw on the random giveaways R* does (usually at Xmas)

File a support ticket saying you missed the transfer window (name your old account) and you really miss your beloved beer hats etc etc. Can't hurt, might work, based on some of the sh*t I've seen people pull via support.

Hopefully for once they do a one-day exclusive giveaway where you have a chance of getting a beer hat or other special item other than t-shirts. Would love to have that J-Lager beer hat.

 

 

Who knows, July 4th is coming up and maybe they’ll be kind enough to release them for the day, although I doubt that.

Nooby question, how do you raise a ticket to higher tier levels if you don't like the initial feedback?
