Which GTA of the universe HD has the best story ?

I chose GTA IV because the first part of the story, until you move to Bohan, and then when you unlock Alderney, had an interesting plot.

 

Particularly the Diamonds and Mafia story were good enough, as well as the last few missions.

 

GTA V didn't have much defining moments in the story, besides the heists and Franklin's early missions.

GTA V had the potential to tell a great story, but anything that seems remotely interesting quickly fizzles out. For me its undoing is when the three start working with eachother being the FIB lap dogs.

 

Personal stories of self discovery are always way more interesting. Niko goes through an awful lot and learns so much about himself. It's the perfect underdog story without fame and power being shoved down our throats.

 

The addition of EFLC adds even more layers. There's a perfectly good reason GTA IV gets unanimous.praise for the story. No other GTA can touch it.
