How to change firing rate through the weapon.dat? (GTA 3)

I've found 2 parameters called "speed" and "firing rate" but it seems they dont do any effect to the weapon. Any ideas?

Lemme explain well, and give a nice answer..

You can do it with modloader (Idk any other way).

If you've got modloader, you are lucky! So now create a folder in your modloader directory and in it, paste the textures you'd like to use for your weapon (You can use default ones by copying them from gta3.img using Spark tool and pasting there), and then, you need to create a script.

 

For example, if you want your silenced pistol to act like a silenced gun, I'll paste some cool gun textures inside that folder and a script named "Weapon Line" and containing this code:

$ PISTOL_SILENCED	INSTANT_HIT	40.0	30.0	347	-1	2	riflebad	30	30	0.40	0.05	0.15	0	0	1.70	0.9	6	8	7	6	8	7	99	7001
$ PISTOL_SILENCED	INSTANT_HIT	45.0	35.0	347	-1	2	rifle	30	30	0.40	0.05	0.15	1	500	2.30	1.0	6	8	7	6	8	7	99	7011
$ PISTOL_SILENCED	INSTANT_HIT	50.0	35.0	347	-1	2	rifle	30	30	0.40	0.05	0.15	2	999	3.30	1.1	6	8	7	6	8	7	99	7031

Then when I open my game, and get my silenced pistol, its textures would be the textures I provided to it, and it'll act like a silenced MP5 (I added the textures of MP5)
