The worst day I've had as a CEO, ALL the fault of some absolute wets the bed called Gonzalez979 (the numbers maybe wrong). Asks to join my org (I've been lone wolfing). I let him and then we do a delivery. He knows what he's doing and I got paid 145000. So, after a few crate runs, I decided that we'd do another sale. It's two Cuban planes. Flying along nicely until "Sale failed, associate has left the session". I even saw his/my fecking plane crash. Why? Why would you do that?! I switched lobbies later on and found him on his own, doing nothing. He left as soon as he saw my name.

 

Then, as I tried to claw some money back, I got a 6 or 7 crate sale.....in a Cuban. It was the one I'd read about where all the delivery points were right on those massive metal beacons. I crashed, stock gone and I turned GTA off.

 

Some people genuinely need shooting in the face. Why would you f*ck someone like that?? Was on my friends list too. Had endless chances to ruin him. Prick.

Doing a buy mission, last three crates to fill my small warehouse. I go in to deliver the last one and get black screen with the loading wheel going. Minute later I get lagged out and put back in SP. Get back online and the last three crates didn't save. 18 grand down the drain... thanks a lot, game... ya douche.

What the heck, man?

 

I get customs-off so that the "haves" and the "have-nots" are on equal ground (and it certainly throws the regular racers for a loop when their preferred cars perform differently), but it sets it up so 4th-last are screwed in the first 10 seconds when the scrubs try to reenact the final police chase scene from Blues Brothers and the ones that started in the front three get their own three-car race. I happened to be in that group of three and only 4th was able to finish the race before the mercy clock ended it.

Wait, I don't get it. Are you bitching about ram central (I've only ever hosted races like you described and win most, regardless of starting position and early carnage) or about the settings because "wah slipstream"?

Either make it "natural" (no slipstreaming and no catchup) or "arcade" (both on).

Yes, slipstreaming is a real thing, but not Rockstar's interpretation of it.

 

Two racers with the same vehicle and the same skill level in a "natural" setting will find the race come down to whoever starts in the 1st position. True, R*'s interpretation of slipstream is a bit "arcadey" (not to mention I'm telling you, catchup isn't ever off in races right now, at least the stunt ones for me) but, then again, so is the f*cking loops, tunnels, and races a quarter mile in the air. Plus how about a T20 in dirt IRL? More like RIP undercarriage after two feet.

 

Slipstream stays, because I'm not having my races every decided by who starts in first. Learn to counter it or time it's use right. Plus, I've rarely had time to even USE slipstream in these short ass races. Maybe my hour long gauntlets back before stunts, but even then, me and second place leapfrogged to keep a lead.

My reaction if the next update is biker-themed:

 

Bad enough to have two lowrider updates this year already (horrible, boxy clown cars - ugh...), and tbh, I'm not really keen on the bulletproof sedans/SUVs, either, so most of the new additions in Year 3 of GTAO have been totally wasted on me.

 

Compare that to Year 2, where things kicked off with the current-gen re-release, then later Heists and all the cool new toys with that, then even more ridiculously-good things added with Ill-Gotten Gains, and then the R* Editor on consoles as the icing on the cake.

Just want one update this year (or at this rate, to kick off Year 4, if nothing's coming before October) where I can get genuinely hyped for it again - maybe finally a proper '90s Karin/Annis sports car, or some versatile fashion items, or something. I'm barely playing the game these days, short of logging in whenever there's a new exclusive clothing unlock, and after the best part of a year, I wouldn't mind something more up my alley to get me enthused about playing again.

Probably because certain classes are specially made for certain races. On some races you may have no chance to perform a jump or something.

But then again, that doesn't apply to every race/class

I upgraded to get away from this crap. "Timed out" "Timed out" "Timed out" That happened once in a blue moon before this update now I get it 80% of the time. And the game's having trouble finding me lobbies for activities now too, I'm sitting there waiting as the timer goes past 1 minute then cancel as after that time, you know it's not putting you in anything. And when it does find something, it's something you didn't even want. A DM...... I said contact mission stupid game.

I stopped bothering with Daily Objectives a long time ago because I permanently have to do at least one Capture mission every day.

 

It feels bad that I'm missing out on free money, but it feels good that I don't have to grit my teeth out of frustration waiting for someone to join.

Not to mention that 90% of the times there's at least one day of the month that won't be registered and R* will not award you with the 500k

Biker dlc doesn't really do it for me either, but, it does how that Rockstar heard the complaints of the bikers. Which is good news for other large threads and causes.

Matchmaking for missions is completely and utterly f*cked. All I get is "can't find any" when I try to use Quick Play, and endless loops when I try to host.

Holy f*ckin' shizzle...it took me 3 hours to complete Pac Standard today.

Weirdly enough, I had no problems with the setup missions, but the finale!

So many idiots, so many fuktards...and they were all over level 90.

 

To be honest, after I started cussing at a dude cause he kept dying, even thou he was level 120, he told me he hasn't played the game in over a year.

Last night I decided to snipe some players from atop my apartment so I switched from Free Aim to full Assisted Aim to get into the AA lobbies. Quit to creatort then hit go on the online menu, it loaded up a session very quickly. Spawned in and no players, hit find new session and again no players. Do it again and again, wasted about 40 minutes searching for a god damn AA lobby. Finally found a 27 player lobby when I was about to turn off my PS4.

 

Non B&M : in the lobby I was able to have a great Freemode war battle with the organization I joined and this other organization who started it. No one in the enemy organization used pussy tactics such as Marksman Rifle wiggle left and right spaming and 'kill yourself' option when the enemy were near death. Holy sh*t man this is the very first freemode battle I actually enjoyed, too bad other battles I took part in had those fa**ots who resorted to sh*ty pussy tactics when they were losing.

Okay good! I thought I was going crazy for minute/something was wrong with my internet! I've been having so much getting populated lobbies this week. And started out this Tuesday when they released the new cars.

Thanks. I've used the savage chopper to land endless missles on them and i have to say, it makes headhunter look fun and easy.

The target himself is still pretty squishy. Two bodyshots or one headshot usually does him in.

 

The bodyguards? You're dealing with T-1000s here. If they are in a vehicle, that is also buffed.

Yep, rank has no bearing on experience. Char 1 is a 263 and char 2 is a 156 and I'm complete sh*t at heists. Now if I can only convince some of the people on my friends list of that...
