R* changed the BSC mission with the Boats again. After adding a chopper to attack you, they now somehow changed the way the crates spawn, all 3 of them now spawn once you blow up the marquis. So if I don't blow up the 2 smaller boats before I blow up the Marquis there's a good chance I blow up one of my crates.

As if this mission wasn't annoying enough already.

I dreaded this mission too.. I've blown up one of my crates during a 3 crate buy. Now I welcome it, to me it's one of the easier individual crate pick up missions. I use a jet or buzzard and pick it up right out of the water and I don't need to worry about hitting trees/fences/buildings. Haven't dipped in the water yet.

 

The first time I did this mission was a gong show tho I made the mistake of trying to use the boat. Lol oops rookie mistake.

Daily complaint about griefers in races. Story time with this one:

 

So normally griefers aren't actually THAT much of a problem, as they tend to suck at racing. Normally I host races (since 99% of the time people leave everything default, which is horrible. These stunt tracks need 4-7 laps, not 2) so it takes about 8-12min to finish a race, no catchup or slipstream, so after getting knocked out by some griefer I can usually just come back and speed past them or knock them out myself and play well to make a comeback. But finally for once someone is actually giving me a challenge for pole position, somehow able to do that with a (chrome and baby blue) Osiris, so I applauded him for that. He does a good job guarding the inside lane on turns, stuff like that, but eventually I manage to snag it from him, and with that comes all of his PITing, ramming into me at turns, etc. You'd think people who are actually good at racing would know better than to grief, but I guess since the dude put a 10k bet on himself (as I've done to myself as well), he doesn't seem too cool about anyone f*cking his chances. So yeah, I fall behind him, and have to play catching up for the next 3 laps (6 laps downtown loop). I say f*ck it and decide to ride his ass for as long as possible, keeping my front bumper on his back bumper for over 40 seconds until the paranoia finally gets to him and he spins out off the track on the final lap. Needless to say he ragequit. I wish I remembered to save the video clip.

 

Next complaint, as a follow-up: People that ragequit from races, deathmatches, missions, etc. I wouldn't have as much of an issue with this IF IT DIDN'T AFFECT PAYOUT. So with a 16 person stunt race, winner can take home up to around 37k, 2nd place with 22k, 3rd 12k, 4th 10k. So the top quarter of the finishes get a respectable payout and getting pole position actually rivals grinding contact missions (still can't hold a candle to CEO/VIP). However, people tend to always ragequit when a race isn't going their way, especially when it's actually a respectable amount of laps and not just 1-2. Usually a race that starts with 16 people can go all the way down to 8 by the end, which over HALVES the payouts. I'd get somewhere around 12k for finishing in first, and 2nd and 3rd (which are podiums, still wins in my book) get pretty much sh*t. This is also why people don't race as much, because the payouts are terrible unless at least 15 people stay in the race. It also pisses me off that stunt races are capped at 16 players instead of 30. Regardless, the code in the game is probably sh*t so it'd probably be impossible to code in people getting paid based on how many people started the race rather than remained in, so I'd propose a punishment for ragequitting. Basically attempting to quit a race or deathmatch would bring someone to a screen that says "There is a $50,000 buyout penalty. If you wish to not pay this, you will be placed in bad sport for 1 hour. X to accept, Square to return to the race, triangle for bad sport." For people that legitimately have something come up (and for whatever reason don't just want to idle), the bad sport option would be fine since that hour should be over by the time they get back, whereas people just ragequitting to find another lobby will be f*cked by bad sport. Also with each ragequit, increase the buyout by 10k or bad sport timer by 15min, and it all resets after a week passes without a ragequit.

 

But wait, there's more!

 

Chrome. Please understand that Justin Bieber's car is completely chrome. If your car is completely or mostly chrome, I am going to assume you are Justin Bieber and blow your ass up. If it's a tasteful secondary color or something, great. I'm talking about the untasteful supercars that are either fully chrome, or chrome and some bright neon color. I still have a chrome adder in my garage for the hell of it.

 

Another complaint? Damn you are salty.

 

Motorcycle gliding. f*ck you if you do it in races. Yes I am salty. I laugh every time I see someone try to abuse it and completely clear the track.

 

f*ck the Elegy.

 

I wish the sports car stunt races were just fights between liveried Massacros and Jesters, but I've given up using my Jester for it because asswipes in the Elegy will always be able to beat it so I've had to switch.

 

Terribly placed Checkpoints.

 

Trench I, Canyon Crossing, and 3 or so other races have one or more checkpoints placed ludicrously too close to the end of the ramp, so I'm punished for taking corners well to lead into the jump in my RE-7B, or for doing wheelies to maintain speed on the Ha-ha-coochi-coo.

 

Kuruma OP

 

What's the point of buying one of the two new awesome rally cars if they have a traction loss of .45, but the Kuruma has a traction loss of 0? As a follow up, why does the Sultan (and Sultan RS) have a traction loss of 1 (let alone the Sultan RS being in supers in the first place).

 

People that complain about the RE-7B's Performance

 

Are you f*cking kidding me? The traction is terrible compared to the other race cars, it's a lot less forgiving. You have to actually learn the car and the tracks you play on to use it well so you can actually benefit from it having a higher top speed. Stop bitching for a nerf to it just because you're terrible and can't learn to drive well (or can't afford it). Plenty of times have I seen people in a Tyrus, T20, Osiris, even Zentorno place higher than people using modified RE-7Bs.

 

Only Primary and Secondary colors.

 

Tertiary is the word you're looking for, C*. With that out of the way, you can allow us to change more colors on the f*cking car. I refuse to use that certain livery on the RE-7B until I can paint it the right colors.

 

Impatient bastards in lobbies

 

Stop bitching at me to start the race the second you're dropped into the lobby, there's only 6 people in here and there's a max of 16 players. More players means higher payout. By the time you've finished reading this sentence, 86 people will have already joined and left the lobby because it doesn't start the milisecond they join.

 

KDR of 99+, invisible body parts, level 1200+, high mental state?

 

Meet any of the 3 aforementioned statements? You're getting booted from the mission. End of discussion.

 

Lack of Betting

 

There's no excuse to not drop $100 on yourself or whoever you think will win. It's chump change. Only times I don't bet is when I just join a race with all money banked, if there's too many griefers for a win to be skill-based, or if it's that RNG sh*t stunt race that is Turbine.

Actually, I lied. It has 3 paint jibs. Technically 4....but I digress. Pure chrome, chrome with crew pearl (a bright green), and a matte green with lime pearl to give it a kind of chameleon/gecko green. Fits the LIZARD plate I gave it.

Surely this line, or add another line, could be more effectively used to indicate what platform the person plays on. It would make answering questions much easier, faster and more accurate. It could help players connect in-game easier too. "Members" is meaningless and a waste of space.

Can't stand when people claim to make 500k an hour doing VIP mission and won't share their methods? The same for people who won't share money glitches.

I'll be nice enough to tell you.

 

1st is the startup phase: Do headhunter, cooldown then hostile takeover (You'll need an armored kumura and ap pistol for this)

 

2nd is the down phase: Do headhunter then cooldown

 

3rd is the up phase: Do sightseer( with buzzard) then headhunter and hostile takeover.

 

Once you're finished, continue to repeat the down and up phase and you'll be making 500K less than an hour.

You can always go onto anyone's profile to see if they've shown what platform they're on. The "members" thing is probably programmed by IP.Board and can't have anything done about it, as it just shows what group someone is in, Member being default. Only admins can change user groups manually, rather than users changing things themselves, at least that was my experience with IP.Board in the past, so that would be a pain.

 

What could be done is this:

 

That's on another IP.Board forum I'm on. However, that makes the space each post takes up huge because there's so much information to be placed in that box.

 

I mean, you can post that in Site Suggestions if you actually want the admins to take a look at it.

There used to be something similar on the previous version of GTAF (you could add your contact information/gaming username and icons would appear under your post). Not sure why it didn't make it back but oh well. You can always edit your profile and add in gamertag/other info which would be displayed there - it doesn't take too long to scroll down someone's profile unless someone writes a book in it. Or you could add it to the signature.

 

Gamertag text/icons under avatar have been suggested before and it didn't go too well. You could always give it a go, maybe opinions have changed, but I can't guarantee anything.

 

 

Also removing the "Members" member group text is a bad, bad idea. Trust me.

I swear to god this game is turning into the steaming pile of unicorn sh*t (not a good thing BTW) that was launch day APB: Reloaded on Xbox one. So I'm sitting here stuck looking at the sky due to a lag related frame rate drop (cause it saved my controller input), when the game fu*king crashes again for no goddamn reason. "Oh what's that, you want to be a bodyguard" dumped in empty public, "CEO work eh? Nope.avi)" dumped in a public with 29 raging assholes. Then you have the physics, can head on a semi truck and drive right through, but god forbid you hit Gary the snail, next thing you know your car lights on fire and cartwheels to Ohio (yes that's a cards against humanity reference) at 7 times the speed of light. Then the sound files for stuff in this game at times, Backs in to trash can at 2MPH, sounds like a car crash against a train all while both the car and train are having sex with a car crusher while a nuclear strike happens, but then I hit a Semi truck at 120MPH, sounds like a bag of marbles hitting a 7in thick piece of steel.

 

G motherf*cking G C*, breaking more and more sh*t with each update since 2013.

I bought 2 megalodon shark cards, but I didn't receive my noney in game. Five days passed, I contacted Rockstar Support 4 days ago and they asked for a video showing my gamertag and my transaction history, I recorded and linked the video, they answered a day later, asking for another video, showing the whole TV, and they saw the video, but the sh*tty money isn't in my bank account, Rockstar doesn't even bother to fix their sh*tty servers, sorry for cursing but this is the Bitch And moan topic (sigh)

Could be worse I've died 16 times do to some dumbass glitch that locks cars in place, and locks out all the controls, 7 times it happened with my own PV, the first time I had to quit out the game to fix it.

I bought a Journey off Warstock and enjoy it very much...*shrug*. I've had a ton of fun risking my life with 5 others driving around SA in public sessions, in my Journey, blasting VBR.

 

As for my rant...I was doing completely fine with VIP work up until today. Not one CEO or Associate damaged or destroyed any of my cars (never been a CEO before, probably never will be), not that I knew that they could until today. I join a public session of about 25 people (I have never actually played or done a job with friends...it has been randoms 100% of the time), and get tons of organization/SecuroServ invites while I'm minding my own business in Paleto Bay/being the only player in Blaine County (sad). A South West cash checkpoints challenge pops up, I call up Pegasus for my Buzzard and fly into the city, with my Tropos Rallye still sitting in the trees behind the sheriff's office in Paleto Bay. I finish 3rd in the challenge and then go against my usual "I don't kill you unless you kill me first" mentality and go on a rampage, killing as many people as possible (but while attempting to minimize PV destruction; I only ended up blowing up one).

 

I eventually get shot down and killed, resummon my Buzzard, start killing again, and then get shot down again by an Associate from an organization. The associate and I then engage in an even gunfight on the ground until his CEO asks me to join, and I accept. The organization then becomes full. We then start doing a ton of trailer delivery missions. For the first few, I followed in my Buzzard...until THEY shot me down. Then I start following in my Tropos Rallye. One Associate gets on top of the tractor trailer and starts shooting at my car until it catches fire. I bail, and the car blows up. I decide to switch to my Burger Shot Stallion for the heck of it. Immediately, they unleash a Technical on me and blow my car up. I respawn it, and go back on the job out of the goodness of my heart. The CEO and one Associate end up killing the second Associate, he leaves the organization, and they engage in a gunfight. Then they unleash the Technical on my poor Burger Shot Stallion again. They hit my car until it's just starting to smoke. I notice that my oil pressure has dropped to just below 40 PSI, and high tail it back to Paleto Bay. I wait out the mission, get my car fixed, and sit out the next mission while I send them both stern messages telling them to not destroy my cars.

 

After that, everything went well, and we earned a lot of money. However, I had absolutely no idea that your own CEO or Associates could mess your stuff up like that. They did pay the $3400 or whatever in insurance money, at least. Just super annoying when you're supposed to be on the same team.

Stunt Race starts

fa**ot goes out of his way to go left on the first right turn (first turn really) to smash into me because I was about to pass him

fa**ot knocks me over the wall

last place gets destroyed and suddenly I'm last place

somehow manage to make it to the top 5 and some asshat runs into my car on a loop and I fall

now I'm back to almost getting destroyed in last place

somehow against all odds end up in 2nd place on the final lap and the final yards

The last stretch is just a long piece of road slipstream will surely ensure my victory

but oh no slipstream is kicking in too early, I can't afford to slow down because ramp

second I pass the 1st place fa**ot he pits me right as I go off the ramp

somehow this fa**ot steals my speed completely so I am too slow to make the jump but he f*cking soars and probably gets 1st, I f*cking rage quit

 

I f*cking hope all these dirty racers have large Semi's intentionally smash into them next time they are on the road

I hope all these f*ckers end up seriously injured and the Semi drivers end up winning money
