Nothing holding you back from buying shares in Take Two and getting a slice of all those huge profits (do you know what the most recent EPS was?). Nothing holding back the complainers from all banding together and buying up 51% of the shares and demanding the board/executives do whatever it is they think needs doing.

 

With a market cap of 3.1 Billion, would only need 1.6 Billion to buy up 51%, and probably more as that kind of trading will bump up the price. And since the last dividend was paid in September of 2008 (0.001 per share), I wouldn't hold my breath on getting a slice of the profits any time soon. And since Take Two has reported Earnings Per Share of around $1.50 total over the last 4 quarters, where is all that cash going?

I expect Take Two has to file/publish their books every year, should be very simple to see where the money is spent.

 

Yes. buying 1.6 billion worth of stocks sounds really scary, but keep in mind players bought half a billion worth of shark cards, and that's the same group of folks that managed to cobble together roughly 4 BILLION to buy the 60 million copies of the game sold, so it seems to me that enough players are willing to put their money into this company for GTA content. Furthermore, I reckon that if they made a 30$ story mode expansion they'd sell 30 million of those over the course of time, so again, the player base could very easily buy up 51% of the company and do whatever they like with it. In fact I'd go as far as to say that even if a "gamer's union" formed and gathered up even a quarter of the shares and started throwing their weight around in putting pressure on the board to make changes that some of the other investors would go along with their ideas.

 

1.50$ on a 30-35$ investment isn't really anything special. That's about par for the course for blue chip stocks which have far more tangible assets to justify their share price. It just never ceases to amaze me how people who are probably unemployable always know best how to manage a corporation that generates a billion a year in revenue.

 

Let me ask all the detractors, how many game titles has your company published? How many were hits and how many were complete flops? How much do you pay your developers/workforce? What's the going salary that you must offer to attract good/competent executives to manage the whole thing? What's your investment portfolio look like? What's the ROI on the other stocks and investment vehicles you own?

What's wrong with the marksman? Player level doesnt say all about a modded account. It could just be some brat who bought a recovery because they're too lazy to actually play the game and unlock stuff. I've found many like that and their 200 KD goes down, if they're lucky, to a 2.

He was in a jet, going in and out of passive mode. I just reported him, then my yacht's air defenses got him and he rage quit lol.

Yeah he definitely sounds like a recovery. You should have f*cked with him more till you bring his KD down to squat. I don't condone explosives, but if that person is double rolling then by all means use them and make him rage.

It's amazing when you're doing a setup and you're teamed up with a rank 2, and they turn out to be a far better player than the other 2 players who are both rank 80+.

I now know not to assume the worst when playing with a low rank. I love finding low ranks who aren't trigger happy or tantrum throwers, always commend them whenever I can.

 

Back to bitching though - if you run me over and kill me twice, I'm leaving. It's pretty obvious when someone goes out of their way to run you down. I will f*cking trash your car, wait until we're almost done and leave.

Running your teammates down repeatedly and killing them isn't funny, it's annoying and wasting everyone's bloody time. So many players do this. I have no idea what they are thinking when they pull this sh*t?!

Nothing irritates me more than peoole ganging up on a low rank.

 

Last night a 44 and 144 decided they would gang up on my friend and crew member who still getting the hang of GTA. He doesn't really bother people at all just likes to do his own thing. Sitting in the party chat and he's getting kinda pissed. Tell him I'm omw so I go to his lobby kill the 44 numerous times, kill the 144 after he ran away from me...

 

f*ck that you wanna mess with my friends and crew members you'll have me to deal with with. In the end killed them both 44 left the lobby and the 144 went passive after me killing him 11 times.

 

Told him in a message in game, that you pick on low ranks but when you have to deal with someone higher than you you run away.

Bus setup for the prison heist is the easiest setup. I grab the bus, lose the cops in about 30 seconds and spend the next 10-15 minutes waiting for the other three dipsh*ts to lose the cops.

They were all in the same car. What is so difficult about staying on the dirt until you lose stars? I even messaged them and said 'get on the dirt, you'll lose them'.

 

Eventually one of them leaves.
