My public session experience today after spending 5 days in invite only sessions:

 

1. Piracy Prevention, three!! players abused passive mode during this one.

2. Player using invisible bodyparts outfit shooting RPG to his feet everytime few bullets hit him. So pathetic.

3. Player is grieving whole session and when I stopped his jet grieving with my Lazer he goes to hide in construction site building middle section and votes to kick me. I killed him only once and he shot my helicopter down earlier so he was asking to get killed by me.

4. Happened in same session than 3. Player abuses passive mode to get a jet and tries to distract me with "hahah py$$y" message while he is coming out of passive mode. His plan fails and I take his Hydra down with my Lazer. Guess who left the session immediately after that?

 

I think my break from public sessions will be continued also in next week. At least next update motivates to earn some money while waiting the announcement.

If you actually intentionally leave a heist halfway through or just before completion you should lose 1/4 or 1/2 of your money (depending on cost of heists/difficulty). I wish there was a harsher punishment. It's f*cking boring and irritating to join heists just for idiots to mess it up.

When people CHOOSE to leave a heist, it's either them throwing tantrums OR they do it on purpose because they think their trolling ass ways are hilarious.

 

Normally if I message them and ask why the left, their answers tend to be 'I wasn't getting paid enough' or 'host didn't give me the job I wanted'..

Well then f*cking asking the host about it before we start the damn heist! Childish motherf*ckers.

 

Obviously this is excluding people who get kicked from heists due to internet issues or GTAO messing up, but it's normally pretty clear when someone f*cks over a heist on purpose.

When someone in the crew turns out to be egregiously cheating; it's rather pointless for me to play alongside someone who can just teleport to the Lectros in god mode and teleport them back to the objective.

Even more so, doing heist elite challenges. These have to be done in one go, no restarts. When I did them, if our team knew we were over time, we would deliberately fail and someone would leave so that we could get a clean restart.

Similarly if someone messes up on the Pac finale and NOOSE is called; you have to fully restart the finale to get to a run without NOOSE, or if you want a PV in a setup/finale where PVs are cleared after a restart.

Aside from the cheating you mentioned, everything else you listed would need to be planned with all players beforehand to succeed. I'm talking about randoms doing heists together. No elite challenges or anything like that.

 

There's no point in people having a plan in their head and then expecting other players to read their minds and understand why they've left. Honestly if I'm in a heist and someone leaves and gives no explanation or even speaks to any of the other players, I'm going to assume the player is an idiot (again, unless it's an internet issue).

 

Point I'm trying to make is - if they don't communicate with other players and then leave, there should be a penalty. No excuse, it's just annoying and a waste of time. It's only occasionally that people leave for a reason (and often they message you or answer you explaining why).

Joined a session and randomly invited bodyguards, came out of yacht. "Oh Criminal Damage starts soon" flew over to the airport and get in Hydra. Bodyguard in a Hydra appears and blows it up while I'm in it.

Saw some guy griefing a level 63 (he was a level 500) while she was just ringing my buzzer to come in (I was eating so I didn't hear the buzzer) he kept throwing stickies at the door she would die. As soon as she respawned, he would spam with RPGS or snipe her until I finally got to kill him and she finally came in.

 

I get its GTA & in free roam you're FREE to do WHATEVER you want - but f*cking with someone intentionally when they're not even bothering you and minding their own business is what pisses me off.

I decided to join a random hiest because I was bored, I didnt need the money so I told him to give me 0% and have me as a pilot on the prison break hiest, shouldn't be hard since the host had it on normal, I was very wrong, I lost count on how many times we failed the hiest due to someone dying or doing something stupid. The worst failed attempt was when the ground team finally came out of the prison after an hour and for reason they decide ignore the plane that is waiting for them and start driving on the road back and forth to kill some cops, after 10 minutes of sending "GET IN THE PLANE" messages they finally drive to where I've been waiting, so I open the rear door to let them in and one of the f*cking a*sholes runs right into the blades killing him and ending the game. I got so p*ssed off that I left the game when they wanted to restart.

I can be chased for hours by police helicopters, but why is it the moment I spend $5000 for a backup helicopter it breaks off in less than five minutes because apparently it's "running low on fuel"? What kind of sh*t is that?

 

Also, why do I have to wait another five minutes if I get killed dialing for a personal vehicle? (which didn't deliver my vehicle the first time I called).

Had something very similar before, just with the cannon. Lag was so bad, on his screen i've probably been in front of him. He was beaming around in front of me & shooting in the air. All my bullets went thru him. (or exploded on him, but no effect, missiles didn't get lock on)

^I hate that lol. I usually have the best luck spamming up, then down (gets you to the bottom and top of the interaction menu really quickly). When I do it enough times, it usually lets me in the Securoserv part when I'm back at the top. It's BS though, and a waste of time.
