Not really GTA related I just want to bitch about it.

 

I'm moving tomorrow and my new house doesn't have telephone line and they won't be installed until the 14th of June so I won't have internet until then. No GTA Online or GTA Forums for a whole month.

Depending on where you live and what cellular company you have, you can purchase your own hotspot on your phone and have it connect to your Xbox One? I'm not sure how efficient it is, but it does work.

 

A mate of mine uses his Internet on his phone for his ps and it works fine

The forums can be accessed no problem by mobile i use it regular. (quote trains are thumb numbing)

I don't get that either.. Why would anyone be annoyed at someone for dressing the way they want in a game.

 

I pay a lot of attention to my appearance and cars, that's part of the fun for me, as I'm sure it is for a lot of other people. Gotta keep my aesthetics game strong.

 

Considering all the effort put into the game to allow us to dress how we please and customize our cars how we wants, we should be happy about it.

I've never seen a player and thought negatively of them for having a certain style (unless they're the invisi-douches).

If you get angry at players for their characters appearance, you're a boring ass motherf*cker.

Catch up is easily one of my biggest pet hates. It's pathetic. I would rather unskilled pussies just crashed on the first corner and then quit and take the bad sport points. You do get bad sport points for quitting, right?

Why hasn't Rockstar fix the Interaction menu for the PC yet? When you have it open (to click on armor/snacks during combat) you're unable to control your character using the keyboard and a mouse. When you're low on health you must stop (while you're engaging combat) to open the menu up and try to scroll down to the snack/armor category as fast as you can. Most of the time it's too late, and you've been killed.

 

This happen to me, twice, during pac standard finale.

Can't that be dealt with using the scroller/middle-click button on the mouse?

 

To scroll through the menu you just move the scroller up or down, clicking on the scroller confirms your choice and you can back out to the previous screen using the same button to open the menu.

 

Easy as sh*t to fix, I guess it's hard for them to adjust it to the PC audience because of how it's structures for consoles.

That is what I use when I try to open up the interaction menu and go to either armor or snacks to refill my health. Once I'm in the interaction menu Under Armor or snacks I don't have any control whatsoever with my character. The only thing that I can do is walk or ride the bike, but even so the controls is very sloppy.

 

The irony is that when I plug my Xbox One controller into my computer while I have the interaction menu up I have full control over my character. I could shoot I could do whatever without the interaction menu interfering my gameplay.

 

 

Why am I forced to use an Xbox One controller to play a f*cking PC game? Rockstar forgot that people do play their games with a PC, and not a console.

 

How difficult is it to create a hot key where I can program the controls to be able to use a specific key to command an action?

Thought I'd actually try joining a heist setup seeing as I've only completed the first one fully, and done a few setups to unlock the savage, technical, boxvan, casco, gang burrito and hydra. Joined the trash truck one. Players were wasting time trying to kill every last npc. Then someone died so we restarted. Then someone left.

 

Back to grinding missions then.

Why can't I change my Social Clubs picture? Everytime I try to change my picture I get same old message about having to wait 5 minutes for the picture to show up on my social club page, but it never shows up. I've been waiting over 24 hours for one picture to show up, and so far it hasn't showed up on my Social Club page.

I'm sick and goddamned tired of "Escape an X star wanted level" DO's

 

On my 7th attempt, I've escaped the last six and still nothing

A few days have passed since this happened, but I thought it's worth to post it here.

 

So, I know from countless people arround here how bad the Rockstar Support is, but for the first time I tried it out and it really annoyed the hell out of me.

 

Long story short, there was an hacker on a PC session (nothing new until here). However he annoyed me, I told him not very friendly words and he took things very personal. Decided to f*ck him up so I recorded the whole thing with my phone, uploaded on YouTube and sent it for both Rockstar Support and GTA Online banhammer e-mails with all the info. In no time I receive a response and at first I was amazed how fast they answered me. Little did I knew that, when I opened my e-mail, it said they opened a support ticket doing a copy-paste of the e-mail I sent and the guy answered what screamed to be one of those generic answers, that pretty much said Banhammer e-mail wasn't working anymore so to fix this issue I should use the report option in game (for something that happened more than an hour previously).

 

So, I wasted my time doing their job by giving them all the info of a cheater, and they tell me basically "oh, sorry for the inconvenience of having somebody hacking and ruining your fun, but the e-mail you could use to report him is down so you have no way to prove what he did, and your best bet is to report him in-game - report that he can delete using his hacks". I mean... seriously? Are these guys working for free? Better yet, the ticket was locked right after, so if I want to gently tell them I can't report a person that I'm not on the same session since 2 hours ago, neither to send them the evidence, I have to write another ticket to get yet another generic reply out of their support book. Thanks for your precious help Rockstar.

Is it the 4 star one? If so, try getting one from the army base and then escape. That should do it.

This is why I don't deal with Rockstar anymore when it comes to reporting modders because they don't do a goddamn thing about it.

 

Rockstar has no problem giving us monthly lowrider updates and giving us new boring adversary modes yet they can't even fix their own f*cking systems to fight against modders.

I really hope they work on making dms better, the reveal players feature is f*cking stupid. It's basically "Who can spend the most money to win an even smaller amount of money" I had a guy put on owned weapons, he was 500 I was the only other one with all weapons rest were below 120, he spammed reveal players and used explosives, and he bet 10k on his team, we beat him, he lost 10k and all the money he spent on reveal players but completely ruined what could have been a decent f*cking tdm.

Of course, cause somebody can just spam "Reveal Players" all f*cking day if they have enough money or glitched/recieved it from modders as R* never bothered giving it a cooldown when nearly everything else in the game has one. (Mechanic cooldown is the worst, same with buying vehicles and how long it takes to receive it. I forgot how instantly you get vehicles you buy in SP, but when you buy something Online it takes a minute or two to receive it)

How in the hell were R* okay with the way the streetbikes handle? I love bikes but they feel disgusting in this game. Super arcady. Streetbike handling was actually superior in IV, all they had to do is make the bikes feel a bit more heavy. A while ago R* changed the handling mechanics for bikes to match the way they would handle in IV but only in the air. Wtf is that?

I don't think anyone will believe my tale, but almost exactly the same thing happened to me once upon a time. This hydra came down on the ground next to me just like that and I threw a sticky on him, and I got the freaking kill! I couldn't believe it. First time lag had ever been a benefit to me.

Oh no I believe you - the same jet in the gif/video came down a few more times just like that, and on one of them I shot the pilot out with the Heavy Revolver lol. It didn't seem to credit me with the kill, but it did kill him, and he respawned on the ground. I might have a gif/video of that part too.

 

Edit: Here it is. You can see it doesn't give me the kill, for whatever reason, but if you look carefully you can see him respawn somewhere else on the map, so I definitely got him.

So FYI Piracy Prevention doesn't end when the timer runs out if the yacht's being captured, but the horn still sounds. And then you lose 30K.

And speaking of playing Piracy Prevention, after 3 kills this guy sends me this;

I stopped killing him for a bit to see what he'd do, and he started swimming towards my yacht. Presumably with his knife between his teeth.

I had a player tell me to come to the beach, no killing yourself and only use smg. When i told him i have a full weapon wheel that i like to use, then came out the p****y and other slam texts. I have a tendency to kill my 2nd character and make a new one because I'm never satisfied with how they look and/or I just want to see what new facial look I can create .. yes, I will admit. I'm a character killer. LOL.

 

This is my 6th or 7th time now.. and tonight, we shall sacrifice and restore.

So it's not just me feeling like most randoms playing heists nowadays have no idea what they're doing?

 

Today I decided to join a random event and it came out to be the Pac St convoy, the guys seemed to have already played it but failed so many times on the dumbest ways (a guy runs over another and kills him, another comes with me on the truck instead of using the cannon of the Insurgent, and two other times they just take it before we clean everything and got it exploded by the Savages). I was so annoyed but I kept trying and we ended up finishing it. When I get my 20k and something as payment for doing it on normal mode, I realized I could have got at least twice as that if I spent the time grinding more VIP jobs, and without all that frustration.

On PS3 and I just want to take clear, full body shots. I want to show off my top notch outfits, ugh. This is seriously one of the main reasons I want to upgrade, so I can take decent quality photos.

The camera is so bad on PS3. I tried different trick/methods to get a 3rd person shot of myself but nope, none have worked.

Equip a sticky bomb and keep pressing the R2 button

 

Then open snapmatic while holding R2 and you should be able to take a 3rd person photo (or at least this is how i did it)

Still no news on an update. I suspect that they'll be holding this back a while, since it's been so long since last release but I hope I'm wrong. Online is dead for me, practically no friends playing it presently. BOO!

 

Then again... only truly smart players are grinding now; get ahead of the next update, kids.

1.Doing the time trial and I fall off my bike.....can't get back on it until the timer runs out, f*cking stupid.

 

2.Doing a race and them idiots who can't race and just slam into you all the time to spin you out.

 

3.Try harders who kill themselves as soon as you get 1 snipe into them.

 

4.The dickhead who in freeroam started the battle with me when I was shopping, then when you get your arse handed to you, you run away and send me abuse?????
