for some reason the VIP I killed has it out for me now and is going off the radar, driving insurgents, dropping off bodyguard to try and shoot me down and trying to get his Hydra

I kill him over and over cuz I'm bored

next thing I know everybody in the lobby has it out for me

the vip leaves

I get merryweather and a $9k bounty placed on my head

then everybody disconnects

Joined random contact mission. Got put in Turbine Carbine with a level 24 player. Didn't have my Kuruma, so I drove down to the road and stole a car. By the time I got back to the quarry to get the van, the other player had collected it. Impressive for a low level in a Coquette.

 

You know how when you're in the quarry and you set a waypoint, it'll spiral fifty times around before getting to the exit? This guy took the EXACT ROUTEIT TOLD HIM TO GO. No enemies were spawning yet so he was just driving around in circles. At one point I got pissed and tried to ram him toward the general objective direction. I knocked him back to the bottom and he started the entire roundabout journey again.

I don't know if you noticed, this is pure speculation on my end btw, but if the "server" detects that one move you made like tilting your jet to the right by 30 degrees and it doesn't get detected by one of the players even if they can be on the opposite side of the map, it'll disconnect you out of paranoia.

 

Hell, it can be that opposite side of the map person making a move like drinking a soda and it registers on everyone's end except yours, so you both get disconnected anyway.

 

It's wonky sh*t you'd expect from a 2003 online game and not an AAA title from 2013, I'll tell you that.

That may be true, I just wanted to point out that the player needs to be in range for that and not "on the other side of the map".

Man I hate how slow you are when you take off the parachute. Landed right next to the delivery spot at the hotel for Hostile Takeover, start walking slowly towards it defenseless and get gunned down by cops. Respawn behind the hotel and see the parking lot filled with police dots. Well f*ck me......

 

Had to wait for the guy who had the Buzzard to come in and blow them up so I could get to the spot.

 

 

Also, it's annoying how if a vehicle is still around and you summon it the damage doesn't fix. Summoned a Buzzard for a lift earlier and it was smoking..... real nice. Started to fall within a minute -_-

People actually care about what crew you're in? Are there some virtual gang beefs I'm not aware of?

 

I join crews for the paint. When I'm done, I find a new one. I joined GTAO in late 2014. Since then, I've yet to do a heist, mission, or anything else with a crew member. I've sent out hundreds of invites and nothing.

 

I'm still not sure what the point of crews are. Maybe I'm a loser and no one likes me
