The sheer fact the DLCs aren't going to SP at all. Before someone pulls the "They gotta make a profit" They sure as hell won't make a profit NEXT game if they keep this up

People will still buy their next game, regardless.

Except they will advertise both VI and Online in the same first trailer, not like back when it had an advert after the release of V because they had doubts of Online's success unlike now.

 

They treat them like two separate games, which is silly, since online is simply the multiplayer version of GTA V. It's still set in the same world, universe, and has all the same physics, mechanics and story mode characters except you get to play with other players around the world. It's no different to GTA IV online.

I hate the fact that I have to unlock everything again for my second character even the heist vehicles and chrome rims but I didn't get the extra bonus for playing the heists for the first time again because the game tolds me that I already played them -_-

No, I was just pointing out that both are the same game, just different modes. What you said, however, was right; they advertised SP and MP separately, as if it was meant to be two different games. You can tell, because they refer to online as simply, Grand Theft Auto Online, unlike GTA IV Online. Calling it GTA Online implies that it's the only GTA game to have a multiplayer mode, which is untrue, since you also IV online. So they call the online mode of IV GTA IV Online, but GTA V Online GTA Online.

I accepted this VIP's invite yesterday and they eventually started executive search or whatever it's called. I split from the VIP as usual thinking the VIP knew what they were doing. Clearly not as this guy kept driving around the zone in his Valor trying to get roadkills on players. I tried to save them but I was to far away and they got killed. VIP leaves immediately and I'm sat there thinking what did I just witness.

Trying to find a good situation to call the mercs on someone and steal the Merryweather Mesa.

 

Then I located an afk player, good. I couldn't kill the mercs before going out the Mesa, but nevermind, finally i had it. Had to drive to my Shandy Shores garage from Paleto Bay with a bounty on me, risky but possible. Better that than put a tracker and a insurance on the vehicle in the Paleto LSC, I thought........

 

And ended with the Mesa getting stuck between a tree and a wrecked forklift just 200 meters away from the garage....

I am in no way in shape or form a R* fan girl, but I really really really dislike when people bash the game continually - like every day... Even in free mode - just saying the game sucks, the servers are cheap and yadayadayda. Yes, the game has its dull moments.. as does every game but what game is stil pushing out DLC almost 3 years into the lifespan of the game? I'm sure maybe PART of the reason they purchased cheap servers was because they didn't expect online to be as big as it is - in 2013, I don't think lowriders even CROSSED their minds, better yet yachts or the ability to have STILT houses.

 

Some of their updates are questionable but again, this is DLC R* could have charged an arm and a leg for like most game companies. It's free - if you have no funds to purchase whatever is in the game, you're playing it the wrong way in MY opinion. Even then, you don't always have to have millions of dollars to enjoy the game.

 

Then, we have a bunch of entitled ADULTS who believe R* needs to add this, this & this but doesn't think about

 

A) the coding that goes into making said car or clothing

B) the amount of effort they put into their updates.

 

I do believe that they should maybe shut down the servers for a week or 2, fix glitches and get better servers.. But I just dislike when people constantly bitch every single day in game.

Honestly... If RockStar adds an M16A1 rifle..... And if RockStar decides to put the plate carrier / tactical gear in clothing stores... (Only Bodyguards can wear them sadly said)... I don't care what update we have after that...

 

Plus a new attack choppie, like the Hunter...

 

Evvverrryone wants GTA to be gangster related... and says "Go play cod / battlefield".... They already added these 'military' items. They fit characters, just let them be available to purchase geeze. A lot of people would be happy with the game if they added them to purchase.

 

 

Edit: Plus I wouldn't mind paying 100-300k per outfit or something. They can over-price these Tactical gear stuff and Military outfits and I'd still want them. Players have been asking for them since the beginning of the game. RockStar can make huge amounts of cash through SharkCards. If you give players what they want, they'll take it in a heartbeat. They probably have over 200 items of clothing for military people.

 

Price them a little bit higher than the Ill Gotten Games part 2 outfits and you got your self a nice little cash increase RockStar.

Anyone who supports the Hunter (or anything like it) is awesome in my opinion. So while I don't know/remember what that rifle is, yeah they should definitely add it.

 

And I 100% agree about people trying to tell others what kind of things are allowed in the game. Like, they didn't make it, so they don't get the final say on what makes it in. Military stuff is fine, and so are clothes/customization. It doesn't become COD or the Sims by adding these.

Usually I never complain about sh*t... But one guy man.. Ran me over while I was idle, okay cool it happens.. So I start to chase him trying to get that revenge. Every time I got close enough to strike he would enter a quick job and then quit it immediately effectively moving him to some random point on the map. I was committed so I chased him down a couple times but each time I got close to him he entered a quick job and reappeared 15 seconds later somewhere random on the map, then had the nerve to send me a text saying I'm too slow.. I don't even mind being griefed if the person is just genuinely better but that coward sh*t gets on my nerves.

The current rifle they're using for US infantry is called M4A1. I watched a military documentary a few weeks ago and they're switching to a new rifle called "XM8". It's in testing phase I believe.

Oh haha! I used it, it's comparable to the normal assault rifle but a little worse.

 

That sounds a bit lame to be honest, I mean the normal assault rifle doesn't really stand much of a chance against the others. Still, I've heard it can be used on bikes, so it's probably the top drive by weapon for them. Plus there was the same gun (or a similar one) in Resident Evil: Code Veronica, so the way it looks is pretty cool.

I use guns based on their looks. Not the stats, I really like the Kalashnikovs in real life due to the abuse it can take and still fire. I only use the Carbine based on the fact it's the only AR-15 in the game. Same with the Heavy shotgun. AK-74u is alright, I just go off looks.

Almost all of them fire the same, only 5 of the weapons that are non explosive are competitive, the special carbine is my goto weapon, along with the bullpup. The M16 would be a gamechanger alright.
