I left GTA open for awhile, and figured that I would get kicked for being idle...Nope. It's been open for over a half an hour now, without any buttons being pressed, or either joystick being touched, or anything...

 

This has happened to me a lot before, where I wont get kicked for being idle, but I'm usually in my apartment or garage at the time.

 

I come back to see that my K/D ratio has been lowered from .75 to an abysmal .66! Some dude killed me a whopping SEVENTY SIX times!!!

 

Now, I don't care about my K/D ratio all that much, which is why it was so low to begin with...But god damn.

 

I really thought that I had at least turned on passive mode.

Haha that sounds like something I would do. The most times I killed an idler was 93 times or so. I have no idea how he wasn't kicked for idling.

I went to check his K/D but instead of that I somehow managed to quit the game, I swear it was Karma who made me do that. How the hell do I go from Players (which is like the 5th option or so from the top) to all the way down to leave GTA O??? No way that was an accident. It must have been Karma who made me do it.

But all I was doing was teaching someone to go in passive next time they go AFK! That's no crime, that's community service!

I can't say that I didn't deserve it. I once killed someone who was idle 38 times. I just got a taste of my own medicine I guess. I usually leave idle players alone for the most part, or kill em once by lobbing a canister of tear gas at their feet.

 

I agree though. If you're going to go afk for awhile, enable passive mode. Something that I always do, but somehow slipped my mind.

 

Oh well lol.

I once went AFK in a Gang Attack location. When I came back I saw I was standing somewhere else.

I saved the clip and saw the Gang Attack (which disabled passive mode, ofcourse) and after the gang attack some dude shanked me twice. He was still in the session when I came back, but after I checked the clip he was gone. I was never able to get my kills back. And to this day, that still haunts me in my dreams.

 

Nah, just kidding about that last thing

 

 

But yeah, you really got to know those Gang Attack locations before you go AFK.

I was doing bumper cars earlier and the 2 highest ranks of the other team were just standing around in cover in 2 rounds out of 4 I was the last one of my team left and they were the last 2 of their team left and with my 2nd account only being a rank 49 I didn't want to fight them but of course they manage to team up get me out of the car and kill me so after the second time I just left. That is one of the most annoying things in the game when assholes join bumper cars and want to turn it into a death match.

 

I hate it when people do that. When people get out of their car and just hide in the structure in the centre or some obscure hiding spot it just makes it so boring and infuriating.

 

Also it's annoying when people get out of their cars to hide and I try to run them over but they seem to be okay and get up again so quickly. If it was me I'd be dead in one hit.

 

It's funny and satisfying though when my team pushes the rest of theirs off the edge and we outnumber them so we are able to gangbang them.

 

That actually happened to me once I ran over a guy getting out of his car and he just got back up and ran straight to the middle and hid for the rest of the round but a couple of rounds later my car caught fire I jumped out and got run over and died instantly.

 

I got really lucky when I was the last one of my team left and 3 of the other team tried to gang up on me I managed to take out 2 at once with a hair of health left and killed the last guy without taking any damage. One of my teammates spectating me added me to his friends list after that.

Punctuation is definitely not my friend. I'm good at writing because I dropped out of school in the middle of year 10 and before that I usually went 2 or 3 days a week at the very most and I didn't even do any work while I was there. I really regret that now.

That death trap Rhapsody in the Vespucci asset recovery VIP work. Every one of the other cars is a passable getaway car, but that one is so light and easily stopped ore spun out, and accelerates so slowly from a stop that I've never had it be anything other than a miserable experience.

Don't switch sessions too soon after receiving new dailies. This is a 'new' glitch with the dailies that causes them to reset. The game gives you a new set of objectives, which resets your streak.

 

When we are finally able to do dailies on both characters each day, this glitch happens. I guess dailies will never be 100% glitch free.

 

Best is to complete atleast 1 daily before switching sessions.

Good advice for those not aware of this. That particular bug bit me back in January.

This time, well, I certainly didn't voluntarily switch sessions after receiving new dailies. I can imagine that a particularly unfortunately timed network error/loss of connection to a session would act like I had though.

B&M... Airport Parking is f*cking bullsh*t. Did it with teams split evenly, yet there's no way for us to get bombs or grenades because people are camping on them. This could be all down to a combination of my noobness at Versus modes and sh*t teammates... But come time for us to protect the cars, it's still one sided. My teammates can't seem to protect any of the cars and are pretty much bullet fodder. And this sh*t goes on for four rounds... Waste of time. Crooked Cop was way better.

Playing Airport Parking for the first time in a long, long time and the lobby is actually full, so I give it a chance...

One team starts in the garage with all the weapons (it's already balanced!)

The other team starts with a pistol in the parking lot (I forgot about this)
Try to get into the garage...killed by guy with AK, sent back to the parking lot.

This goes on for a long while...defending team wins.

Didn't pay attention...apparently I joined a team with three players and the other team had 13...I killed a few people before I realized Rockstar's sh*tty match making was in play. I had a pistol and 13 people to kill...f*ck this.

Unplug the internet cable or turn your pc off manually. If you are fast maybe you can save yourself.

 

That's the way to prevent the game to save that unwanted progress.

 

BTW I spend little to no time on public lobbies since the past week, because of those unleashed script kiddies. I'll remain safe on invite only until R* starts to ban again.

I don't think I can stand seeing my character putting on a forest green bp helmet when he gets on a bike anymore.

 

When we were able to store ten outfits I thought it would be a good idea to make a 'tactical' one with camo type clothing and the aforementioned helmet but I never used it even once. Now, months later, and with bike helmets set to 'none' and auto show helmet set to 'off' and the outfit long gone I still find myself putting that goddamn helmet on half the time I idle sat in a bike.

 

I get that the game is punishing me for considering wearing a bp helmet for PVP. But I've done my time, enough is enough. Show some respect for the option I've chosen to not wear it and stop torturing me. Please.
