Months go by with little to no issue with staying connected in lobbies. Holiday DLC passes and suddenly everyone logs out after 3 minutes of being in the lobby or I'm connected to an empty lobby.

 

Why are we still having these issues after a couple years of being online?

Join random mission, host is idling. Ask the other guy in the mission with me, to kick him; he responds with "he's the host - I can't ". Guy's rank 182 and doesn't know you can votekick other players or being host means sh*t all in that regard. Smh.

 

Exit out, try to join another mission, get "timed out" error message and kicked back into SP. It's one of those days, huh?

Everytime I play this game, I realize that Rockstar are real geniuses when it comes to making a singleplayer game.

And how they turn into a complete bunch of morons when it comes to making a multiplayer one. I swear they can't do ANYTHING right.

TakeTwo is R* parent company they have nothing to do with servers, they just set deadlines (if even that). No doubt they took the lions share of the profits. R* probably saw a 500 million out of all of that. Edited January 4, 2016 by TheEroticCherry

Damn noobs striked again.

Final mission on Human Labs. We get above the labs, and then, unexpected, the pilot jumps ! Yes, the pilot !

Second try, the gunner jumped... oh my bad, I just said "pilot, don't jump" so the gunner may have thought he had to... -_-

Third try, everything seemed fine until one of us died... which one you may ask. Not me or my team mate on the ground, but the gunner! It's f*cking rare that those in the choper get killed, right? As far as I remember it happened only once! (and it was me, well, I didn't expect that at all XD).

Fourth try, the gunner, who was level 1, noob of the noobs, just left.

Noobs shouldn't be allowed to join heists! Damn it.

So the game loaded me into one of those "Ring fight" melee unarmed deathmatches. Well I gotta say...THE f*ckING MELEE FIGHTING SYSTEM IS BROKEN!

Once you're hit you can't fight back, you can't dodge (sometimes...) but with the sh*tty server and player lag this makes fist fighting VERY impossible.

I'm pretty sure the max session capacity is 32. .

 

And then there's the sudden obsession with showering my character suddenly caught, so I have to wait to get out before I can even check the session player count. Bitch your tits were clean seven sessions ago. >:[

Try to quick join Contact mission...somehow placed on call for a Death Match. Figured maybe I didn't pay attention to what I was selecting so I try again and make absolute sure I select "contact mission". This time I'm placed on call for a LTS, so I try again. This time I'm placed on call for a race (congestion charge) so I try again. Finally placed in a contact mission. Get to the lobby screen. I'm 1 of 15 for a mission that maxes at 6. Awesome. Quit and go back to freemode. Realize that I don't have a personal vehicle in freemode so I called my mechanic. While standing on the street waiting for my car he calls me back and says "no can do". I'm confused, I'm literally on the street, a busy street, there should be no issue. Call him again, same result. Now I'm starting to get a little irritated. Try joining a contact mission for the last time, game freaks out, I fall through the map, loading screen comes up, error, sends me back to SP and tells me to try again later. AKA, tells me to go f*ck myself.

Prior to the holiday sh*t being released I rarely experienced any of the above issue. But my evening didn't just stop with that, I still tried to play this game.

Finally join contact misson "hit em up". Overhear one 100 level player coaching a level 19 player. I'm cool with that, sounds like they're friends and he's trying to help this dude out. Unfortunately for them, I hate this mission and I'm going to kick the ever loving sh*t out of it with my Savage. Grab helicopter, start killing things, they start crying (ok, more like complaining but you get it). We get to the end and they start to lecture me on how to play the game. One of them says, and I quote, "you know, if you take your time on the mission and do it longer you get more money" (we got 13k). He follows that up with, "if you didn't kill everyone and blow through the mission you realize I could have gotten us 18k". So I reply with "you realize we can do another 15k mission right now in the time it would have taken you to get that extra 5k..." he boots me at the next mission load screen.

Getting really tired of hosts who put on catchup in custom races with huge jumps, ramps & wallrides. Impossible to finish the race in some situations when you are in 1st position.

On ps4 amount of players with modded accounts has increased exponentially in last few days. Today there was several in every public lobby I joined. Some of those were smart enough to have reasonable level, but their ridiculous k/d revealed them. I hope Rockstar is aware of that and soon those cheaters will get some kind of penalty and stat reset.

Every time i join a session, the first thing i do is report each player with level in the thousands, 1333, 2000, 8000, etc. More than once i had to report up to 5 players.

The f*ck? You realise you can be reporting legit players right? I have a friend who's 900+ and I just bumped into a 1000 too. Just because they are a higher level then you doesn't make them a modder, this is 2016

You better don't do it without maxing your driving skill or with a K/D ratio around 500, 'cause i'll report you, but if you have a "normal" profile, then you won't get reported by me. Plus, C* probably checks if reports are valid or not before taking action, don't you think?.

Go to join a mission thru quick job on phone and get nothing but sandy shores airfield like wtf thats not even a mission. After 8 tries i get into a mission. Fml
