Is R* not even trying with matching a manufacturer with a car? I mean, the put a car based on a TVR, a BRITISH company (it could have gone with Progen, which only has one), as a BRAVADO. F*CKING BRAVADO. That car does not fit with Bravado's canon as an All American car maker. I understand the manufacturers dont have to be exactly right, but they still used to be relatively close (the Imponte Duke is clearly a Dodge Charger, but Pontiac is, well was, also an American car company).

You can't have played too many games then. Aside from connection issues (which will continue for as long as Rockstar use this ridiculous peer to peer set-up) it is close to bug free now.

 

What? Didn't play too many games? Dude, I must have well over 25 PlayStation games back when I only had a PS1. Actually, the PS3 and PC are the only ports/platforms that I didn't play "too many" videogames on. Only 6 games on the PS3 (GTAV + IV + EFLC, Skyrim and Oblivion, AC:IV Black Flag), and 3 PC games (Skyrim The Legendary Edition, and the classic DooM games on both GZDoom and PrBoom ports, and finally PlayStation DooM Total Conversion).

 

I lost count of how many games I played on the PS1 (at least 15), and at least over 10 games on the PS2 - although I only own..... um.... 7 I think? Still.

 

 

So you're basing your statement that GTA O is the buggiest game you've ever played on you having 25 games on the PS1? Have you any idea how much difference there is between the games on the PS1 and current gen games? Miles apart is what they are, not comparable in the slightest!

 

 

Haven't read all of this stuff, but i have around 70 games on PS3 alone & GTA V (Online) is the first game i'd think about, when hearing "Glitches & Errors"

@am30 I'm breaking the quote chain but that's good for you. Even if you are "In cover" and "taking time" you will still get shot and your health will degenerate. I'm not saying I use snacks every mission but there's some missions where it's absolutely necessary to spam snacks. Especially when you have 3 plus merryweather guards shooting you even while in cover. So am I supposed to just sit there with my health in the red while I'm getting shot in 3 different directions from God Mode AI or do I spam snacks?? I spam snacks. It makes it easier.

Which missions are you referring? I do Stocks and Scares, a very tough mission, solo, on Hard and never have to use snacks...how are you, and others, so bad at not getting shot to death?

Kind of hard not to get lit up when the enemies just infinitely spawn and spawn RIGHT behind me.

 

Stocks and Scares is easy if you know how to do it. If you don't, it's near impossible by yourself.

 

Block entrance with car, steal nearby Mesa, call Buzzard (or attack chopper of your choosing), drive to Buzzard (at end of the dock), blow everyone you can see up with missiles, land Buzzard as close to the stairs as you can comfortably maneuver it in, shoot any remaining Merryweather troops, go upstairs, hack door, blast guy behind box, blast guys in room, crack safe, run to chopper killing any Merryweather (if any) along the way, fly out the back and then to Lester's.

 

I don't think I've used a snack or spare armor since I learned the entrance trick.

 

If you don't want to use a chopper, park the Mesa as close to the stairs as possible, drive out. More difficult, but you shouldn't need any (or, at least, not many) armor/snacks if you're a decent driver.

You guys can do S&S without taking damage, congratulations. It's just the fact the AI have godlike abilities and my original post was saying we should be able to store MORE snacks. I didn't say I suck. It takes about 4 hours of mission grinding and THEN I need snacks.

I swear, some of these motherf*cking players have got to be inbred...So I'm playing the Pacific Standard - Vans setup mission with three other people, gotta find the vans, snap a pic of their license plates, send them to Lester, get the real van. Seems easy enough, right? A gang of trained monkeys could do this, right? Well, we get three of the vans no problem, easy peasey, e-cola sequeezie! Then, I finally track down the final van and got the plate in my sights. The van somehow manged to crash into a telephone pole and kept hitting the accelerator. I whip out my phone and prepare to take the most perfect license plate pic ever, this setup is pretty much a slam dunk. But then, like Leroy Jenkins outta f*ckin' nowhere...the idiot host and his crew member slam into me with their brick of an Insurgent, and then slam into the van, thus failing the mission. Utterly ridiculous. A simple $20k run failed because a couple a clowns felt the need to drive their $675,000 carbon footprint into my bright ass red Buffalo and the van.

Not on this forum no. Pretty funny though isn't it? I mean how many people think GTA Online is perfect on here, and yet we're in a thread with near 700 pages of people pointing out various problems and flaws. I thought the Star Wars Battlefront forums were full of deluded people, but actually there are far more sane unbiased people over there giving real feedback to the devs. Just because you love a game doesn't make it God's-gift levels of perfection. Skyrim is a great game in my opinion, but I would be a blind idiot if I said it couldn't benefit from a number of changes.

No mostly just kids, inbreds, or stoners (maybe sometimes a mix). I forget sometimes to mute everything in a public lobby and I ALWAYS hear young kids or people with brain damage on their mics spewing nonsense. I am pretty sure that is the problem with this game and why most normal people have a bad time in public missions.

Guess what? No, I didn't. I just stated that I've been playing videogames since the age of 5 (or 6? I can't remember for sure), you said that "I apparently didn't play that many videogames", I countered that statement by saying that I must have player well over 15 <If my memory serves me right> games on the PS1 alone, and at least 10 games on the PS2 (currently I have 7 games, used to have 2 but stupid old PS2 started to act out making me think its the games that are faulty) and 6 games on the PS3, and finally 3 games on PC.

 

Stating how many games you've played in X platform =/= basing your knowledge of a game's bugs on old games. Comparing a PS3 game (Skyrim for example) with another PS3 game (AC:IV Black Flag) in terms of glitches makes sense because both are on the same platform, but I didn't do that too.

Doing LS Connection with a friend and 4 high level randumbs. 3 of us are in choppers. This just had to happen to me but at the location in East LS some idiot put their T20 in a bad spot where it would easily be destroyed by any chopper. $24 grand it sets me back and basically no reward from mission for someone being a complete duncey bastard

I hate fake leaks that are just assumptions.

One of the recent ones was that there were missing properties found which leads them to assume they will be added. I mean really? I remember seeing a couple of these way back as purchasable. I might be wrong on this but I thought around July 2014 there were close to 90 properties.

Rockstar taking out old ones is not a clue to more coming. And the same dude publishing these articles needs to stop worshipping MrBossFTW.

I'm a guy, but I used to play as a female character and I still do sometimes. The reason it all started was from a bet. My female friend made one of the ugliest female characters ever and I told her I could make a better looking one. We made a bet and sure enough I won haha. After that, I stuck with the female character because I thought it was so funny how little boys would behave around you. They always offer me things, wouldn't leave my side, or wouldn't fight back if I killed them. Now Im not saying I trolled them and made them believe I was a girl. if they ever asked my gender or simply became too annoying, I'd tell them I'm a guy.

 

I've met so many guys who play as female characters that would troll people and made them believe they were a female to get stuff or some other personal interest. That's the sad thing about it. There was even this creep once who had a female character, their bio supported that, and their Xbox avatar was also a female. So naturally I believe this is a female. Wrong. This person asked for my Kik without ever asking me if I was a girl or not. I gave it to the person, and they ceased to talk to me and blocked me since they found out I was a guy. Turns out, that person was a guy and does this stuff on the regular basis to pick up chics over Xbox. What a sad world we live in.

 

On the subject of picking up chics, I used to play with this girl that was in an old crew of mine. We played together a couple of times and she seemed very nice. She addded me but then removed me this one time when she found out I was a guy when I yelled at a squeaker Short story, she added me only because I was playing as a female. She doesn't like to be labeled as a lesbian and denies it, even though she's dated 5 girls she's met on GTAO in the past 8 months.

 

I understand that girls don't want all the attention that having a female character brings. I have a couple of friends who play as guys specifically for that reason.

There's a reason why I avoid playing as a female character like the plague in this Ill Gotten game. Freaks who get horny over a bunch of pixels and immediately assume that the human on the other side of the controller is a chick gets on my nerve. They are everywhere.

 

Yeah sure, there's nothing wrong with playing as a female character. Heck - my current Skyrim character is a female. But to go to the point that you'll try to "hook up" with the player <just because they're using a female character!> in a hope that they may or may not be a girl, only to call them gays/whateverthef*ckever if they turns out to be males? That's just outright extreme.

 

Like go outside, guys. Stalking female character players won't get you any sh*t.

Was doing the Pacific Standard Heist with 2 friends and a random. Twice in a row, my two friends and I get to the dinghy just for the random player to f*ck up twice. First time he commits suicide after hitting a tree while parachuting and secondly fails to reach the dinghy in time because his driving ability is a joke. Of course, when he failed it the second time he quit

Some players on this game really are beyond helping.
