Instead of a bad sport lobby, why not just hike up the cost for the person paying the insurance? Give them a warning, then double it for a while. Someone paying $55k for every t-20 should be slowed down a bit.

I tend to go on-call when looking for jobs, so more than 70% of them are those silly races. I just wish we had job filters. It's been 2 years and this still isn't even a thing?!?!?

 

A filter for non-R* jobs when using Quick Job was literally added in the Executives DLC.

 

It's in the start menu > Online > Settings or something like that.

Well, I'm on last gen. That's another thing that pisses me off. They can't even add basic sh*t into last gen, and ''console limitation' cannot be an excuse. They couldn't even add the new passive mode into last gen, so they left it broken instead.

After months of using not my Karin Sultan, I decided to make it my active PV for a while. Then an asshole player blows up my baby and turns out it wasn't insured. f*ck off!

I finally met one of those cowards that take the easy way out mid battle just because you hit them once, first they spam the Marksman Rifle at me, then I hit them with the Heavy Sniper which causes them to panic and commit suicide before I can get another shot on him.

These individuals want to get as less deaths and the most kills possible, and the instant they see a drop in health, they drop a sticky onto the floor to blow themselves up. They will not back down until they get the last kill in that gunfight.

 

 

Sadly, this is how they prove their superiority complex in a video game.

It really ticks me off that R* hasn't brought the Schmidt from GTA 2 into GTAO.

Would be awesome to have it on current gen graphics, but alas it's a long forgotten treasure.

i don't agree, using passive mode while trying to get to a target is a great way to do it, i use it sometimes when i'm going after a sniper at the central lsc, other then that i use it when i don't want to deal with a griefer in the session or i'm shopping.

Decide to do the latest time trial. What followed was a disastrous mess of Rockstar fail...and maybe a little of it was my fault too....

1.) Forced to join public lobby because time trials are "freemode" events...you know...a non-competitive event that puts you in passive when you join it anyways...why would it make sense to simply make them available in invite only sessions? Doesn't matter. I go passive anyways and make my way via my hydra to the new location.

2.) I decide to have some fun and skydive from the hydra once I'm near the location. Of course this instantly awards me a wanted level because my plane crashing clearly means I'm a guilty asshole worthy of being shot to death. Why am I getting wanted levels for bailing from my plane? Oh yeah, because f*ck all...that's why.

 

3.) So I have a wanted level but it's low so I figured I'll call my mechanic for my bike and simply lose the level. My mechanic decides delivering the bike should be extra long. No big deal, I'll just run in circles while I'm being shot because, oh yeah, I'm still in passive and I can't fight back. I'd remove myself from passive but there are other players nearby and I'm going to be in a 10 second cool down anyhow. My bike will be there around the same time so I figured it best to just let it be.

4.) Jump on my bike, start to drive down the road to lose my manageable 2 star wanted level, get knocked off the bike by a cop that knows exactly where I'm going before I do and can accelerate from a dead stop from the other side of the road to immediately block my path. By the time I get up I have a shotgun in my face. I can't do anything about it because, oh yeah, I'm in passive. I get killed...well at least my wanted level is gone.

5.) Respawn, ignore upper left hand message...start looking for my bike. Where the f*ck is my bike? Pause, look at map...goddamn it!! My bike was impounded by the cop that I couldn't defend myself against that was on my ass because I jumped from a plane that I owned and parachuted to the ground safely, harming nobody and destroying nothing...other than the plane of course.

6.) New time trial is near the airport, steal plane (still in passive, I just want to do the time trial) fly to police station. I say f*ck it, I'm getting a wanted level for breaking my bike out of bike jail so I'll just sky dive into the impound lot. I steal my bike, take my wanted level and begin driving back to the desert. Cop on the highway pulls another "I know which way you're going before you do" and side swipes me. I'm pinned between my bike, his car, and a guard rail. Shotgun to the face...bike is impounded...

My post is long enough so I'll sum up the end for you...I do the time trial...fail for nearly an hour because of suicidal drivers that take lefts or rights as I approach and appear specifically along all of the best racing lines. Eventually I pass my time trial and go the f*ck to bed...

Drive to garage, enter it, get out and look for 30 seconds before all hell broke loose. It's like the Carmageddon mod struck, only my character was also involuntarily moving. Pictures of the chaos as it occurred in the spoiler.

 

 

 

 

F*ck it, I'm going back to modding SP until the next update. (Before you start, when that happens, I verify the game's cache on Steam. Restores all the original files.)

It's like it doesn't want me to succeed.

Tried prison break too many times this morning, with no result. I understand why the prisoner gets killed, but the demo and pilot? Come on, WTF.

The worst was that guy, pilot, who after 3 or 4 tries, says it's his last time. He was pissed. But you know what? He died. I don't even know what happened. He knew the trick to have no problem with the jet. But he died. It wasn't the time to land yet.

His last words were "WTF 100 meters" or something like that. Then he left.

How nobody is joining Lamar's Lowrider missions........ I never did them before due to taking a break from the game.

The payout is comparable to normal contact missions instead of a little higher.

So many Christmas noobs (children) buzzing my apartment door, boarding my yacht, following me around, sending me texts asking for money, and trying to join my heist.

 

Get the [email protected] away from me.

 

Also some old gen people who got a new console this xmas think their is modders on new gen. Literally spent 10 minutes arguing with a douchebag on GTA about how their was no modders on new gen. He was convinced I was one because I'm level 400 with a yacht.

 

I had to tell him I've been playing the game since it was released. Also that it makes sense some people would be level 400+ over a 2 year period by now. Just play the game I told him then I switched lobbies. He added me as a friend and found me again in another lobby. I blocked him and played Fallout 4 the rest of the day.

 

Frustrating because this isn't the only person I had to tell "I'm not a modder" in the last week.

 

The forecast calls for a surge in asshats during the holiday season.

If anything, there needs to be a clear indicator on the blip that the person is in the process of exiting passive mode. This will alert other players and lessen the chance of being tricked and taken out. Make the player's blip flash or something, I don't know...do something. lol

Still get players begging for money, asking if I can mod, and have them follow me around in passive mode on PS3. If they are not in passive mode, I will not hesitate to gun them down, but they still sometimes insist on following me around. They just don't get the memo.

 

A good way to troll them is to text them in-game about modding millions into their bank and having them restart their system in order to see the money. Works almost everytime. The moment you see ''Player left'', you won't ever get a message from them again.. EVER!

They are more difficult compared to normal contact missions with crappy rewards (Poor payout in cash and if you complete all of them you get a mighty reward of two Benny's t shirts)

2nd characters are SOOO EXPENSIVE to make up. I totally forgot, well I didn't know since I haven't done it before. You get to carry over NOTHING, no weapons, no pegasus vehicles, nothing. You should at least be able to keep a few items, e.g. pick any 4 weapons and 2 pegasus vehicles to keep. I'm going to have to wait for a sale because it just costs too damn much. Hydra, $3m, Buzzard $1.7, Savage $2m etc. That's ridiculous that you don't even get any discount buying the second time. Not even mentioning the cars and properties, just wow. I started my 2nd guy at $102.5m and already blew $600k.

 

My other complaint is the lack of cars that interest me. Already got all the good ones on my main guy.
