The lack of any steady lobbies are annoying as hell. I just love joining a lobby and then either everyone or myself disconnecting at once. I also hate when I try to do a mission off the phone it seems to only pick sandy shores airfield as well.

Leaves apartment to go to garage - "failed to join activity" and kicked out of online.

Try to start a mission from the pause menu... and stuck in some messed up purgatory where you can't do anything.

 

So much for making any kind of money at all today... hell possibly this weekend with all the stupid bugs that have popped up.

To all the people who want an armor buff on the Valkyrie, I doubt that's going to happen.

 

I'm a big fan of the Vietnam War (Not the war it self but the stuff that was used in it, Eugene Stoners M16A1 / Bell UH-1y (Huey) / M60 LMG )

 

But the UH-1y was the thing was destroyed the VC because of Air Mobility and the M1919 .30 cal Browning machine gun....

 

But besides all that firepower. They made the pilots wear Kevlar vests because a pilot said that a .22 could easily pierce the armor of the Huey. But their feet and legs were exposed, and Kevlar plating in the cockpit of the Huey would be front heavy. So nothing protected their feet and legs.

 

They made the Huey a transport chopper just for support and to EVAC wounded soldiers. So it was a light-weight transport chopper, and to only carry up to 6 soldiers, other than that. A pilot would have to "Use the landing gear as a 'spring' to make the helicopter airborne if it carried more than it's maximum weight.". Also the pilot seats of the Huey, They had a lever to push down the seat and take the pilots body out if he ever got killed flying. And a passenger of the Huey would fly it.

 

But to everybody who wanted an Armor buff on the Valkyrie - I don't think it's going to happen.

 

Although I do wish the transport carried 6 people. 1 pilot / 1 co-pilot / 2 door gunners / 2 passengers. That's the buff that I'd like to see.

 

 

 

EDIT - They probably made the Valkyrie have more of an explosive damage during the mission because it made it a bit easier for the team to take 2-3 rocket hits from the buzzard.

Although, a real Valkyrie/Huey would probably have a much longer range on its cannon too, and I'm sure you could fit flares onto it. So if they're going to bend the truth to hinder the Valkyrie, well they could bend it a little more so it's stronger and more balanced.

 

It's a fair point anyway though - I mean, it is a lighter looking helicopter. If they're going by reality, then it probably shouldn't have an armour buff. Then again, it should have a better range if they choose that route.

 

The Savage though, doesn't really have much of an excuse. The real thing was strong.

People on reddit saying they want wing suits in GTA because this one kid played Just cause 3.

 

I said that they tried to make this GTA realistic. Remember how I said 'tried?'

 

I get bitched at because I said that, It just wouldn't fit because this game is a city and a sh*t ton of buildings and the other wing suit games have open lands and an urban area that has maybe 4 buildings per city that you NEED to travel long distances. You can travel from LS airport - Sandy shoes in less than 6mins using a car.

 

Then this one kid said that - Yea but I seen 4 girls in bikinis shooting rocket launchers at a tank.

 

Then I get bitched at some more by the creator of the thread because he wants wingsuits and bitching at me saying why they should be in the game.

 

I don't know why I posted there. If you have a game that has a wing suit, why not play it there.

FINALLY finished Series A setups after nearly a year of failures thanks to a bunch of coconut brained morons, and that is as nice as I can say to describe the people around during Series A. Low ranks are one thing, but how did a rank 300 and more are able to screw up Trash Talk many times?!

 

I really don't care what anybody say here, I finally switched the difficulty to easy since random stuff kept on dying many times. Now I'm doing Pacific Standard Hack and some dude decided to die while being a transporter.

 

And yes I do have friends that play this game but mostly it's "first help me finish this then I'll do yours" only for him to leave after finishing his mission so he and his buddies play Call of Duty BO3, while others did the same only it's Destiny, Battlefront, Battlefield 4 and Hardline.

 

Not to mention saying "I'll be back going to get something to eat" only to return 5 hours later and have some nerve to get upset wondering why we didn't wait for him.

 

I had few that do play it while I'm on, but they're too busy playing their setups and even said that they were waiting for their one crew to play heist before giving up.

 

As for difficulty, I always had it on Hard until couple weeks ago when I say screw it and set it to Easy or Normal since they always die so fast.

 

Granted I, too, made mistakes due to not checking my health and not eating snacks to regenerate, but not this horrifically bad. I even beat Prison Break as a Prisoner with hardly any deaths 'cause I know how to take cover and not go immortal wannabe on the enemies.

 

As for Lamar Missions, already did those the same month it was out. Sure had some people that thought a gatling gun is a great stealth weapon in a stealth mission is a fantastic and smart idea, but nevertheless finished them way before the forsaken Series A setups.

 

Apparently some players kept forgetting they are dealing with Mortal Kombat 3 perfect A.I. mode and not human players, so rolling around isn't a recipe for victory.

 

Well I think I vented enough for now. Just happy that I have finished Series A, and now to do the final heist setups so I can choose any of them in my apartment. Hopefully it won't take an eternity to finish it.

Had the best experience in a Judging the Jury contact mission. So we start and I call for a Savage, just to grind out the mission. One of the randoms in there starts talking sh*t about "the loser in the helo". After a bunch of back and fourth, mostly with his mom jokes and saying I have no skill using the Savage,the mission ended thanks to one of the other randoms.

 

What a sad man, he had a dark red T20, probably b*tching because he's too poor to afford a Savage or probably a Yacht. He was also was over level 300 so I don't know why he cared, but I bet if someone dropped money on him, he would be fuming, call R* to get it clean because he's a good player, also probably getting mad when people use the Kuruma in Pac Standard instead of the bikes haha.

 

I sent him a friend request after, but he didn't accept, strange huh.

 

If you're on PC, watch out for (not sure if I can write his name) a complaining man in contact missions, over level 300.

People who take forever choosing an outfit before we start a heist... Just pick a f*cking outfit already! Nobody gives a sh*t what you wear! Unless you're a low rank, hopefully you're smart enough to pop on that heavy vest, other than that, nobody gives a sh*t what you wear. f*cking weak! Apparently the 4 hour VIP timer counts down even when you are in a job menu waiting for people to join. I had close to an hour left on the timer. I accepted someone's invite and we were waiting for a 4th person to join but ran into some technical difficulties. After a while, I exited the job screen, went back to free roam, and my timer was down to 10 minutes. Rockstar seriously needs to stop that timer unless the player is specifically in free roam.

Also, Rockstar really needs to add rank filters when it comes to searching for players for Heist and Lamar missions. So many times have a rank 1 to 8 kept joining in. It's like they signed up to a suicide expendable missions I swear.

The Valkyrie had more armour in The mission because they stripped down the Insurgent's armour and put it on the Valkyrie.

So I'm playing Stocks and Scares, and the Merryweather guards are pissing me off. Not only do they eat bullets like they were Egochasers, but they seem to respawn infinitely...There appears to be not roof on the cheapness factor of these assholes.
