Updated the game last week, and now my character has a big ass forehead that you could land a Titan on. Now all the hairstyles for her look weird. I don't remember having a Tyrese Gibson sized forehead before the update. And over 200,000 dollars for a different design scheme for my apartment? Goddamn... Damn am I glad I like the monochromatic theme cuz I ain't shelling out that much just to change the look.

I have lost my respect for Rockstar. I am done playing GTA V on a regular basis until they fix the stupid t-shirt raffle.

 

This is so unfair. I watch every stream, enter every raffle, and I still haven't won cannibal clown or meat hook for mommy. What sort of game requires you to be lucky in order to have fun? That's all it seems to be, luck. I won the first two but after that haven't won any. They need to make the shirts available to all stream viewers, or put them in crates, or something so that they can be obtained fairly. The game should depend on skill and dedication not getting lucky in a raffle.

 

Well, Rockstar lost a dedicated fan over this sh*t. So f*cking lame.

I don't think I understand your argument. What you're trying to say is that in a raffle, everyone should win or at least you should win more often? I get that it could be rigged, but a raffle is based on luck because its random. If everyone won the raffle, then it wouldn't be a raffle. It would just be a giveaway.

 

I think that the concept is that a raffle is a f*cked up way to reward people. In other words, if you waste many minutes of your life watching Rockstar's worthless stream, you should get the shirt, period.

 

In the real world, where resources are limited, raffles are necessary. But when dangling virtual goods in front of people in return for participation or dedication, the raffle is just a cheap ass way for Rockstar to force people watch more of their sh*t because they didn't get it the first time.

 

TL;DR: It should not be a raffle.

Fixed an issue where Collector's Edition weapons weren't free for migrated Collectors Edition users.

 

Great job on "fixing" a bug that has been there since release.

 

Before the weapons were at a price and the tints were free (but the failure of an anti-cheat thought the free tints were hacked and did not allow to buy them) - now the weapons are free but the tints are expensive as f*ck (I'm not buying a cash card or doing missions to buy something that should be free). Attachments are still at price, couldn't care less about engravings. They make such a simple bug to fix look like rocket science.

That wasn't an attack. It was just an observation and a fact. tbh, I could actually agree that 10k is nothing if I have 9m in the bank, but this stuff is supposed to be free, so that's why I'm stingy about it.

In other news...

 

Asset Recovery.

 

Wanted to take a break from Sightseer and do some more Asset Recovery. Started one at the Vinewood police station. Had to steal a Stirling GT. Got it and drove away. Just as I enetered the hills, Severin (by HEALTH) started playing on Self Radio so I immediately thought it was going to be a badass escape. Nope. What happened is I was fumbling around the hills, dodging all sorts of cops. Tried to take a shortcut but it was blocked by an armored hedge so road it was. Went down and drove back up. Almost got out of the hills which meant a fast and easy escape, but instead I got blocked off by a cop car that has the mass of a tank. My only way was to turn back because the cops somehow can wield heat-seeking sniper rifles inside their cars so I'd be dead in a second if I didn't turn back. Somehow ended up driving off a hill, tried to make my way back up but I forgot that only Supers are able to off-road and ended up sliding down into a wall where I got stuck.

 

Tried to get out until the cops found their way behind the house and started shooting at me which is when I commited suicide. The game, of course, spawns me with a 4-star wanted level, because dying is not f*cking enough, and I quickly run to the car, before they swarm in again, and shoot it with a Homing Launcher (that I got completely for free, on my yacht). The car just gracefully barrel rolls and lands on the wheels next to the swimming pool with the engine having a dark smoke (it's as if the car didn't really give a sh*t and was just whispering "deal with it" while looking at the wall through some nice sunglasses). I shoot it, it finally blows up, I run like a lightning bolt (beacuse the cops swarmed in again) and finally call Lester to get rid of cops, because for some reason Lester forgets to charge his phone when I'm doing VIP work. At least I got $2000 for failing, so this was enough to cover the $800 price tag on wanted level removal.

 

Here's a map of how my escape looked like.

 

 

Did the next one which was in Sandy Shores, on a f*cking quad bike, yes, a quad bike, which was only a 3-star wanted level and I fell off only once which nearly killed me, but I made it to the end. $5000. For all that effort of getting a quad bike with 3-star wanted level from Sandy Shores to LSIA. the f*ck?

 

 

Started another one. This time it was in La Mesa with a Comet. Got the car, 4 stars, and got away. Wanted to enter the freeway, but the moronic NPCs never went to a DMV so I had to detour up the park. Cop car incoming, I swerve to the left onto the grass patch to shortcut a turn and generally avoid cops. Car magically turns into a god damn feather and flies towards the houses. Lands in between them, hits a fence and falls down. The next screenshot will speak appproximately a thousand words.

 

 

I actually didn't land this way. The car landed on the fence and then fell down sideways in between the ledge and the house. I managed to flip it back on the wheels but that didn't help. Then cops once again duplicated themselves and almost killed me.

 

 

At that point I disconnected back to Singleplayer. Wasn't going to die again. The pay would probably be hilariously low anyway if I somehow managed to get the car out. Never playing this sh*te again. On that note, Hostile Takeover is sh*t as well, and it 50% ruined my glorious 1,970.00 k/d ratio on the Carbine Rifle. Looks like Sightseer is the only VIP job I can actually play without it getting ruined.

i know i'm complaining about what most players know but, the 1 vs 1 deathmatch feature sucks, today me (i'm lvl 191) and another player who was lvl 212 where battling it out in a 1 vs 1 until another player interfered and kept killing us both and i couldn't see him on the minimap, so i had to deal with him and battle my target. XD

it got to the point to where the other player (not my target) was pissing me off.

and near the end another player joined in the frey a lvl 8000 (an obvious hacker) and when i won the 1 vs 1 and i went into passive mode the lvl 8000 player shot and killed me, so i reported the player.

Eventually ended up using it during a Lamar mission and died in it.

 

Car didn't show up for insurance, mechanic can't get it for me, and its not in my garage.

The Insurgent got its insurance halved, from $16750 to ~8430. WTF Rockstar?

 

Also air vehicles still dont have flares, so every one in the lobby sits around stroking their Homing Launchers waiting to kill someone just flying around.

 

The yachts are useless, you can't really do anything on them, and their air defenses are ridiculously powerful, like laser accurate.

Insurance prices are always effected during sales. If I recall, I saw a thread about the Surge being on sale. Fear not, it shall return to normal, sans the sale price effect.

I could write a novel about the way I feel about the homing launcher, so I'll try to keep it short.

 

It completely falls short of stopping the truly overpowered aircraft (jets), while taking the fun out of unarmed aircraft and already underpowered aircraft.

 

I mean, my helicopter's already made of paper - why does there have to be (on top of that) a missile launcher that shoots magical missiles which can do 180s and are almost impossible for helicopters to dodge? Helicopters are pathetically weak, have a tiny range on their weapons (which they can't even aim properly), and don't have any form of flares. Why, then, does there also need to be this? There has to be some good side to helicopters, otherwise what's the point in using them?

 

It's not like it does anything to jets anyway - I can dodge them all day in a jet.

 

And to see all the unarmed aircraft ruined too ... That really just sickens me.

 

S**t, this was meant to be shorter. Oh well. TL;DR: I hate it, it's useless, it's pointless, it's annoying, it's like everything that's wrong with the game made into a weapon. And it doesn't even get jets at all. I would gladly see it go and never come back.

Fair enough, though I still hate it. Any jet pilot who knows what he/she's doing will have absolutely no trouble dodging it, meanwhile any helicopter pilot will ... well they'll just be in a jet, because no one wants to be in the death traps that helicopters are/have become.
