Whenever I want to take some cool editor screens, my character has a hard time keeping his eyes in his sockets or his face looking normal. A real shame.

 

I would really like this to be fixed sometime.

None of that sh*t ever works, It's all on their end. Was doing prison break around may and during the cut scene the game glitched out and said we failed...um no we was flying back to the city after completing it!

They asked for proof by my awards and I just wanted my % but they gave me 500k bc of it.

 

It's definitely all on their end! The group I was playing with finished the Criminal Mastermind challenge last night/today and the only issues we had were due to lag. Of course it probably didn't help that I was playing with 2 friends from the UK and 1 friend from Brazil LOL. As long as we weren't close to each other it wasn't too much of a problem, but if we rode together or had to do a task in close proximity (especially with the friend from Brazil) the lag would get insane. Rockstar really screwed up by not having dedicated servers for all platforms instead of the sh*tty P2P system they have now.

Yup. I mean hell as of late my gun won't shoot it sputters and I have to superman the R2 button. Wasn't an issue until they asked me uninstall the game and get the update again. But I can press it normally when driving, Idk. We need stabilization updates like we got at launch on CG to really fix things like your issue and mine but that won't happen. You're right about the P2P even my ISP said it can cause problems like this and it's clearly on their end.

 

Hell I reinstalled the game on IGG2 and I can't do burn outs anymore either. Anyway the gun sputter thing happened back on PS3 during I think high life or business updates and in 2014 on PS4 and XB1. well with me having to superman the button last week I was able to shoot normally hours later or it will be fine then start all over again. Hopefully they get the problems fixed and stop playing the blame game. Anymore with getting booted from events, Unknown network errors at heist cut scenes, freeroam really makes me play tips less and less.

Thats a little contradicting, its not on their end if they have P2P, because P2P does not use any Servers, so its on your end.

 

 

However Dedicated Servers are a must for any big Mutliplayer game, I don't get why R* doesn't bother for them, its not like they are that much more expensive, since their P2P system which they try to "improve" all the time is WAY more expensive and harder to develop with....

 

 

Yes, I understand what you're saying and lag is to be expected when playing with people across 3 continents. However, I've done the Pacific Standard heist enough times to know exactly how many choppers you have to take down on the Convoy setup. I won't post the video again, but after we took out the last chopper I scoped out of my heavy sniper and saw this a second before my death.

 

 

An undamaged Savage with it's landing gear out slammed down onto my friend's car killing me instantly and failing the challenge. You can clearly see on the map that there wasn't even an enemy helicopter icon on it. I still feel like this was due to a glitch in the game rather than lag since no one I've talked to has ever seen it happen to anyone else.

Here it is Version 1.29 on PS4/XBOX One and you still can not purchase a Fender-less variant of the Hotknife. Now don't get me wrong the vehicle looks nice with the running boards and fenders. But I prefer no fenders.

Thanks for sharing that clip with me. That just makes me feel more strongly that it is a glitch in the game rather than a problem with my system as Rockstar support suggested. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like all of the heists have more glitches now than when they were first released. It's almost like Rockstar patches 1 thing and breaks 5 others LOL.

guy snipes me from some semi far location out of my kuruma, my armored vehicle and full health are no match for 1 shot of his heavy sniper. I contemplate how he can get 1 shot kills with his sniper when it often takes me 2-3...

After sneaking closer and closer to the sniper I never do manage to get a look at him, I see a bounty and decide my best bet to see his location is on top an adjacent rooftop so I go for my Hydra

As I take off the sniper leaves so I decide "f*ck it" and kamikaze the bounty, of course my full blast cannons and Jet body was no match for his Bobcat XL as he survived and was credited for my death

The longest traveled without collision challenge begins, I hop on my bike and figure I'll go after the bounty real quick then head to the close airport to see if I can get some ridiculous number

I end up competing for 1st in the challenge while I claim the $1000 bounty and immediately get run over and killed by an armored Kuruma, I respawn in between Mr Armored Kuruma and Recently Claimed Bounty, challenge restarted for me

while Bounty snipes me I begin getting shot at and ran over by Armored Kuruma, it seems they are working together in this....

I die, respawn with them still on my tail

my bike is in the middle of the f*cking road in gangster territory, one of players come after me and I kill them and alert all the gangsters who came near to killing me I but managed to lose them, head to the airport but with less than 2 minutes left, I had no chance to beat the dude I was competing with as he has been at the airport the entire time racking up those points

 

I'm bummed.

Sorry to say...But you're likely f*cked. Your progress will reset since the game thinks you haven't done all your daily objectives for that day, even though you were never given any new ones.

So I finally accepted an invite for the Pacific standard heist and the session wasn't full! The crew was good, everyone wearing utility vest and host is giving me 20%... Until the session glitches out even before we get to the bank. We had to leave, then host doesn't send me the f*cking invite.

Sorry to say...But you're likely f*cked. Your progress will reset since the game thinks you haven't done all your daily objectives for that day, even though you were never given any new ones.

 

 

I cant believe people actually do the daily objectives, and actually waste time on it. All it is Rockstars way of controlling their players on what they should do on that particular day, and in any other day. Most of it is to do stupid sh*t. The last one that I accidentally completed was to evade a 2 star police chase... I mean WTF is that all about?

 

I swear I think Rockstar has a mentality of a f*cking rock... no wonder they call themselves ROCKstar, and here I was bashing Bethesda for the way they f*cked up Skyrim.

I just got new ones and my progress is still 26/28.

 

The objectives resetting nearly 7 hours late is completely absurd but it looks like it'll be okay. Knowing my luck, though, they're just teasing me until they actually break for real on the 28th day.

 

 

I cant believe people actually do the daily objectives, and actually waste time on it.

A sheer minimum of about $1,5000,000 is nothing to sneer at when you don't have a heist crew or anything.

Ahhh right but the map is pretty close to the real life locations though expect that LV is locted just up north and not more towards the east. Also, San Fierro is located north west from LS, not north east.

 

I don't think it's impossible for them to add SF though considering it's just north of LA. Just add more road the pacific coast highway and it should lead to SF as that road leads to SF from LA. But then again Rockstar are lazy so...
