Now see, i was thinking they should've only done NG for GTA:V. Push back the launch, spend all the extra time updating the visuals and adding all that extra content and that way heists wouldn't have taken over a year to launch. We already had GTA4, TBoGT, and TLAD on PS3/XB360, and there were only 3 GTA games on PS2 so waiting to launch 5 would've fit with the current theme of releases. That way if they do launch an episode style game for GTA:V like TBoGT or TLAD you wouldn't have half your players only able to play because the chances are good that they'll only launch it on NG.

I know. Got them both for gifts when i had a PSP. Lol. My mom did it to piss off my half brother since he wasn't allowed to have GTA games in the house so my mom bought me every single one she could. Brother was PO'd, dad was just happy his other son was being punished. Hahaha. I think that's why i got it mixed up, i remember them advertising them as PSP exclusives.

Well when it comes to GTA 6, I don't have high hopes for. By that I mean I don't expect to see it until many years from now, five at the least. From what I've read from ex- and current employees anonymous testimonies on sites like glassdoor.com, the RAGE engine is an archaic POS by today's standards and it makes it take much longer than should be necessary to craft game worlds, bugfix, test, etc. for the games. One employee said the tools are often broken or poorly documented and that it takes much more work than other contemporary engines require just to build maps. When you take into consideration the size of the modern-day GTA maps, that becomes an obvious problem. The other big issue with Rockstar is their management and how they handle game development. It's not the exception, but the RULE for everything to be ridiculously unorganized and uncoordinated, apparently.

 

Many employees spoke of this when they mentioned how tons of the different studios worked on content and assets and didn't even know what game said assets even belonged to. What the hell kind of company manages their projects and employees this way? This isn't how you build AAA games and it's no wonder it takes R* ages to release the simplest of things. Seriously, just go to glassdoor.com (you don't need to register but you can if you want) and search for Rockstar Games, and read as many testimonials as you can. You'll see why "AGENT" hasn't seen the light of day yet (and probably never will) and why GTA5's pre-existent and current development is so ridiculous.

 

So I'm not really sure what to expect from whatever it is R* will do next. Will GTA 6 be a huge clusterf*ck which will receive 10/10's from the games journos just because it's exciting and new, just like GTA4 and 5 did, despite being riddled with issues and blatant game design no-no's? Who knows. All I know is you can't trust the company (shouldn't ever trust any company, really) and I'm not setting my hopes up at all because I know at least I won't be disappointed then.

Yeah they were PSP exclusives at first, then R* decided they could make more money by having studios do ports of them to the PS2 lol. LCS is one of my favorites in the series, but I hated VCS. Chinatown Wars, while unrelated, is another underrated gem in the series.

You must really, really, really be suffering from delusional narcissism if you honestly believe that the reason I hate the cop outfit is because I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET THE GLITCH TO WORK. This response tells me that you must have been challenged by performing the glitch (I have no idea how to do it and don't want to know how to do it because I hate the f*cking police in GTA V), which means you must be challenged by tying your shoes. Uh... you just gave the definition, and the definition is exactly what they did in suggesting that I was unable to perform the glitch. To suggest that I was incapable of performing the glitch is so far outside of the realm of possibility for a player as advanced as myself that it is intentionally provocative and offensive to me and DID elicit an angry response from me.

 

So... you just crucified yourself there, unless you're trying to be a hipster or something in some way I'm not familiar with.

And to the guy who posted above me, GTA V got loads of 10/10 reviews because it is the best game ever made and deserves the highest possible ratings. Which is also why I have no respect for anything Gamespot says about anything, ever, until the end of time.

The glitched cop uniform is the dumbest outfit in all of GTA.

...and all children (you are automatically a child if you wear the cop uniform - this is not debatable) wearing them should be shot, beaten, stabbed, and reported to the Rockstar Banhammer for being tools, fools, and an embarassment to the tradition of GTA.

 

They are also attention whores who lack creativity. Kick them from all sessions.

Beat it for the first time the day before GTA V came out, and I don't remember anything about wearing a cop uniform regularly, or online... or whatever, and that's irrelevant anyway. Just because somebody CAN wear a cop uniform doesn't mean it should ever be done for purposes other than completing a mission, and it certainly doesn't mean that it isn't stupid, or that the people are stupid for wearing it all the time. They're wearing it as their regular outfit to pathetically show off that they did a glitch and are.... man they just wind up looking like the police, which means that they should be killed as often as possible.

I was b*tching about the cop uniform being stupid, and now you guys are b*tching about me b*tching about the cop uniform. You won't hear me complain about it anywhere else (I said something earlier today elsewhere but will keep it here).
