Playing online last night and got put in a public session by myself. Head to LS Customs because modding a car is one of D.O. Just as I drive in, a smuggler plane spawns. Are you f*cking kidding me?! I've been waiting for one to spawn for over two weeks now! Get out of LSC and of course it's gone. Start hearing wierd sh*t on my TV, then some kid getting his ass chewed out because he's playing video games instead of cleaning his room. Must have joined while I was respraying my Osiris. He sees I'm a rank 220, and messages me: "u mod? i can hav munney need munney for zinterno". Yeah, not happening. So I ignore him, and go about my business. He starts following me around in a utility truck. I call for my Marshall, head over to Vinewood Boulevard and just as I get out of my Osiris this bitch blows up my Marshall. Get a message: "giv me munney now". Kid, you don't want this. I go to my apartment, and the whole time I'm in my garage this kid is spamming my buzzer. Drive out in my Insurgent, and he shoots me with his homing rocket launcher. I drive off and he shoots me with two more rockets before I'm gone. Get another message: "im reprt u". For what? I get on mic and ask him what the hell his deal is. He says he wants money, but doesn't feel like doing missions or a Survival. I tell him, one, I'm not a modder. All the stuff I have I worked my ass off to get. Two, quit being lazy. If you just want to sit around and have people mod you money then don't bother playing this game. He starts crying and saying it's not fair, and that I'm being mean to him and he's reporting me for not modding him some money. I tell him go ahead. They'll see that and just laugh their asses off. He tries to kill me, and when I headshot him with my .50 he calls me a meanie ass butt face and leaves.

I joined a session the other day that only had 1 player and it was some kid named jacobwallace2005 on ps3. He and his little friend kept telling me theyre hackers and demanded I leave the session or they were gonna hack my account and delete all my downloads and take all my money and guns. He even said he was gonna find out where I live and kill me and my family. I was just hanging out in the meth lab smoking a little herb not doing anything...slightly amused. He said the hack takes 24 hours and that he was "hacking me" right now. Then Another player joined and he gave him the same story. After about 15 minutes of him calling me all kinds of names, making threats, and me not responding....I send him an in-game text. I simply sent "u fvcked up". He insult my spelling at first but the he got quiet and left. A couple hours later I sent him the same message through the psn and he responds with just a question mark...I say nothing. The next day I send the same message...and the next day...and the next. That kid has no idea that im the king of bluffing

I have my own reasons to quit Online. Not just the game is beyond broken and boring, there are other things that make me stop. The game is nowhere near the glory of May-July last year.

 

First off, the weapons. Back before, the Heavy Sniper was actually powerful. You don't even need to aim at the head. Now you're lucky if you killed an NPC with it instead. Weapons became toy guns.

 

Secondly, we have the NPC's themselves. Back before they were fair. They didn't have an OP accuracy (far more accurate than AA itself), and they weren't gods. Now they are ridiculously powerful - as strong as the Daedric Princes from Skyrim, if not more powerful.

 

Then we have the players themselves. In the past (or at least in my experience) randoms actually have a brain inside their skull. They knew what to do. Not ALL of them but at least the majority had common sense. Now you're lucky if your teammate didn't blow up the objective instead.

 

Also, stealth. Well, I'm a stealthy player. I hate going Rambo or doing it "loud 'n' dumb" and blowing my cover. Did you know, that in TESV:Skyrim, with the correct stuff, you're basically undetectable? Now compare THAT to the "stealth" thing in this game. There's no stealth at all. You snipe a Lost MILES AWAY from the rest, and then everybody knows who just shot their friend even if you are 100% hidden and are faaaaar away. Its unreal.

Try one more time...... YAY! My apartment. After that long annoying stare of my apartment's outside and I can finally start to move...... "Unknown network error"

Tbh, even tho this game has all sorts of connection problems, after I changed to LAN connection on my PS4 I didn't get a single "unknown network error". What connection you have?

Ugh, in free roam and people just spamming explosives, instead of manning up and going gun vs gun. Tried to get my f*cking hydra from the same f*cking place due to Pegasus's will to keep it spawning there and the same dude blew me up with that noob launcher 5 times. R* should limit the amount of explosives to 20 and remove that noob launcher all together

The thoughts going through some people's minds baffles me so many times. Just attempted Pac Standard Convoy with randoms, so first time, one decides to ram everyone's cars that we were using as road blocks with his armoured Kuruma, then when the convoy arrives, rams it into the insurgent, decides to get out then gets shot and killed by the rest of the guys in the insurgent. Mission failed. Second try, we get past the convoy but the driver of the truck decides to blow up a Merryweather Jeep with an RPG and the secondary explosion blows up the truck. Third try, somebody thinks its a good idea to throw sticky bombs at the convoy and detonate them as the mission critical vehicle stops where they were thrown. That was the last straw for me, I just quit.

It's usually fine but then there's the odd day like today where the game just doesn't like me.

A lot of people seem to think explosives are the only answer in Heists..... I personally will never use them again outside of Pac Standard as I tried to toss a grenade only for it to bounce off the car and back at me failing the setup.

 

That's why I tend to race ahead and start killing in my Kuruma and make sure the truck is far from the other vehicles so people can't RPG/Homing Launch it just to kill enemies. It's safer this way

This game... > ''The session you are trying to join is currently full of players. Do you want to join on que?'' - I do NO, and what else should be in a lobby (..full of players)? So I got the same message again and I select 'NO', same message again, and again and again, untill I restart the game.

Wanna go online? Network error > drops out of XBL > Not able to connect to XBL.

4 hours later, same issue, after I've been online for maybe 10 minutes.

That happens often, after that Ill Gotten Gains 2 update.... The last three or four hours I finally played without these issues. It started to feel like a drug I need or something, if it isn't there I go mad

R8 and/or M$.... Not the best companies imo.

This game's whole timeline is completely f*cked up. Online is said to take place before story mode, but I was just watching Fame or Shame and Lazlow is bitching about Tracey De Santa having to win or else her father will kill him (please do it, Michael... Please!) and his hair is cut from story mode. Is online even fully supposed to fit before Story mode? Sure, Trevor hasn't started TPI, Madrazo clearly hasn't learned his lesson about strange cooters cuz he's still diddling that Russian chick and still has both ears, and it seems Michael still complains about being rich but you'd think they'd work this stuff out. On a sidenote, how cool would it be if they made it so the buildings under construction actually got finished? And why are so many people saying that Low Life is coming with new cars? I haven't seen anything about it...

Faster load times, I think they stream lined a few things as well as general improvement. You shouldn't say nothing has changed, as you don't know that. It simply hasn't gotten better for you, for others I'm sure it has

So, I get out of the air base with a jet only to be sh*t down by a NPC jet. Having respawned the jet continued to hit me several times with missiles until I snipe it enough to cause it to smoke, at which point it buggered off.

 

Oh and for some reason later my homeing missile wouldn't lock onto a griefing Hydra

way too many impatient players in this game. If I join a heist randomly, and it is a low paying waste of time like Scope Out, I intend to back out and look for another heist or set-up. But far too often the impatient host launches the job faster than I can hit the two buttons it takes to leave. What are you thinking man? Do you think you can force someone to do a job they don't want to do? Have a little patience and you will actually find a player who wants to do that set-up. Instead you now have to sit through a cut scene, then watch me fail the mission, then go back into free roam, and then restart your set-up.... all because you were impatient.

Scope Out is a 2 player job. Regardless of how long he has been waiting for a 2nd person, quickly launching a job without giving a player a chance to back out is just going to result in a much longer wait to actually complete the job.

 

If you want to complete a heist or set-up, you should probably make sure you have crew members who actually want to do the job.

first race is a loopty f*cking loop custom race thats rigged with a secret finish

get 2nd

try another race with a different lobby

race is another crappy custom race with ramps you need to drive up to get to first point

my super car (along with everyone else's) is too low to ride up the ramp

I try for a good 15 minutes before leaving

try again

that 1 vapid blade race

race begins, holding second and about to take 1st when 3rd comes up behind and crashes into 1st who crashes into me

the collision with me sends me off the f*cking elevated highway while 1st and 3rd are f*cking fine

I have to respawn, manage to catch up against the odds and dirty racers, my 1337 catchup and slipstream skills can't compete with the other guys 1337 catchup and slipstream skills, I end up 2nd

decide to stick around because finally a lobby with more than 3 people

sanchez race around sandy shores

hold 1st but catchup and slipstream are a bitch

someguy swipes into me and causes me to eat it while he remains fine

manage to catchup because he eventually got his I guess, try the same sh*t to him but I eat it again thanks to the magnificent physics engine

don't recall my position at the end, stick around still

at the races, going in circles in my brawler ftw

drive directly into sanchez with slipstream on me, sanchez racers don't f*cking fall off

still manage 1st every lap until the very last stretch

master of all catchup slams me into rail and gets 1st

stick around

our lobby is joined into a massive congestion charge lobby

I was not fully aware of the unholy events about to unfold that would shorten my lifespan by several decades.

I go on call for missions with my 2nd character and it happens a lot. I don't mind that if it is set to hard. But if it happens on normal, I climb up somewhere, facepalm a bit and get a coffee. If a spectator did not leave until I`m back, I facepalm again and finish the mission.

 

It's getting worse every day, seems like the sales on CG are still not too bad. Noobs from rank 1 to 200 host Blow Up on normal and start at Sandy Shores. They really expect me to drive - or drive with them in their uglyass Zentornos. Locked 8/10 times. Then, they don't stop honking their annoying horn until I have to put five stickies on the car. They either fail (and quick restart up to 5 times) or die. After that, they accuse me of trolling. I`m fair, I reply to them everytime and tell them, why they are the trolls and why a rank 150 a) should not host this mission b) not there c) not have such a ugly car d) change his horn back to stock e) learn how to set vehicle settings.

 

I was complaining about AFK players in missions months ago. Hell no, I don't drive to the airport anymore until every random is dead, they will manage to destroy the Titan otherwise anyway. Los Santos Connection fails because high rank players rather get the hangar money instead of destroying the plane first. Flood in the LS River....6 restarts, all three randoms blew up the package twice! Nah, I don't quit, I`m not a quitter and I`m too busy with snipering for 25RP each and writing hate messages...

 

Hosting missions for/with randoms does not help, they vote for random job after the mission. Five minutes later, after I restarted the game, I`m back in a public lobby. If I get a decent team, I drive a bit, kill a bit, do my job. But maybe because my second char is still under rank 100, I get matched with idiots a lot of time. At least she is female, so if someone asks why I`m not moving, I reply that I`m a woman, he a man and he has to work for me. They don't ask further questions then, try to do the job and send me friend requests I unfortunatly cannot accept.
