No...you're right...it wasn't...which is why I followed them perfectly...I even stated what I bought (A T20) and exactly when I did it (15th @ 11pm...an hour before the deadline) in my ticket...do you really think I would be so stupid as to ask for a rebate I hadn't fulfilled the requirements for? Once, just ONCE, I wish when I rammed a Vapid Stanier by mistake, it turns out to be an undercover cop.

Why the f*ck is this not in the game?

Is the undercover cop supposed to blow his cover and chase you because you rammed into him?, pretty stupid idea.

So, youve never seen an unmarked police car flash their lights and pull someone over?

 

 

What does that has to do with this?. People will request the most stupid things and then blame R* for not implement it.

Why do only a quarter of the cars in the game spawn online? You can't store expensive cars anyway. You jump back into SP and the roads are full of variety. Seems pointless GTAO isn't the same way.

Since my heist crew disbanded (bye-bye, Criminal Mastermind), I bit the bullet and started doing heists with randoms, mostly Humane Labs this week, for obvious reasons. Yesterday went really smooth, went through setups and finales with the same team - Normal and no Player Saved Outfits... but baby steps, otherwise a quick run with no restarts. "Maybe the guys on the forums are all wrong!", I thought today, when I fired up GTA:O for some more double RP and paper!

So, I accept an invite for Steal the EMP setup, and again, it is on Normal, but whatever. I got a bit nervous when I saw that host and another crew dude were level 35 and 18 respectively (other dude was 60+, so no worries there), but everyone listened to my guidance - had to restart once, when one of the newbies crashed the Hydra because he couldn't deal with Hover mode, but he quickly let me pilot it, and we finished the mission. Minor bump on Valkyrie, when the other crew dude tried to fly away in the chopper like a maniac, but landed it (sort of) for me to pilot it after I asked nicely. EMP delivery went through nicely, dudes did all I asked them to and even helped me out with clearing the compound. So, now for the heist finale... The host didn't utter a single word during the whole session, and although he did set a cut of 20% after I asked, he totally failed to understand, when the three of us asked him to give me the pilot role. "F*ck it", we thought, and kicked off the finale. Turns out, the host couldn't pilot. Like, at all. We tried to give him a crash course via chat and mic on how to fly a chopper, but that was a Hail Mary. I suggested we restart, and insisted on giving me the pilot role next time. Invites are in, and then we spent about a minute or two explaining what we wanted - looks like the dude had a very basic understanding of English, and did what we asked only after someone had the idea to write "HOTLINE -> PILOT". So, here it went pretty well, except for the host suicide, when he landed out of the compound. Team Valkyrie slaughtered the opposition, while the low level Ground Team mowed through the insides of the labs surprisingly well. And here's when the host struck back. Dude just couldn't understand what to do in the tunnel section. We tried the Simple English heist tutorial schtick again, while the three of us were sitting on the beach, to no avail... Three grenades, boom went the chopper...

I am a... patient man, so I suggested we could have him as a gunner this next time - how can you f*ck that up? Get disconnected, that's how. After this, we friended each other with the other two competent crew members and bailed. So, yeah, I totally feel teh randumb pain nao, u guies.

Fortunately, the next run I did was with some quite competent 60+ guys, all from one crew, who were playing on Hard (no Player Saved Outfits, though - no one's perfect). Nice couple of setups, automatic 20% cut, no restarts. Three minutes late for the Elite Challenge, but what can you do =)

So, uh, not so much bitching and moaning (I'm a glass half-full kind of guy), but I did sigh and curse under my breath on that one stupid host a bit. Hope this qualifies =)

Okay, so I got this "bad boy" messaging me that I'm a stupid retard because of the fact that I jumped out of the Insurgent gunner while moving. Let me clear this out.

 

We were on the HLR - Insurgents mission. I was the gunner on the pickup and there was this other guy on the normal Insurgent who left without picking the other guy up. I thought that maybe the driver of the pickup (this "bad boy") would stop and pick him up. Nope, he didn't. He drove away when the guy was 2 feet away from the Insurgent. Anyway, we go on with the mission until somebody dies, and since it was on Hard, we fail the mission. This is when I bailed out of the Insurgent.

Key Codes..... What is it with jerk offs jerking around smashing up parked cars and/or firing weapons while waiting for the exchange. Too many times this set up is failed by jerk offs jerking around.

I love it when it takes you down back into the session again but as soon as it reaches the ground it instantly goes back up again and you have to wait another minute so it can put you into a completely different session. They know they're being an ass.

 

The worse part is when your doing a heist with a friend but a random happened to jump in before you could and you have to back out and they have to wait 5 extra minutes because R* put me in a difference session even after i joined the qeue.

That's rockstar, milking our pockets. And before anyone says "vehicle prices are fair" look at the Blista Compact. That useless pos is 42k and that buys you literally a sh*t box with 4 wheels. The rebel is pretty much one of the most customized vehicles in this game and only what? 3k? Rockstar logic at its best.

I get an invite for HLR-INSURGENTS and the host is rank 160, another guy is rank 70 which I can deal with, and I'm rank 182. Somehow, this rank 2 joins. How? That's f*cking beyond me! And the inevitable happens... Mister Rambo Rank 2 speeds into the quarry like a bat outta hell, and ramps his car right into the bottom of the quarry. His car blows up, setup fails. We try again, he does the same sh*t, only this time, his Elegy doesn't blow up and he gets out and tries to take on like ten armed Merryweather mofos, and gets ripped to shreds. We finally get it after I get on mic and tell him to stay the f*ck back because this sh*t shouldn't take three tries. He stays back, and doesn't come close to the quarry. I drive the pick up Insurgent, host drives regular Insurgent. We pick up the rank 2, bounce on outta there and finally finish. My question is, how the hell does a rank 2 get in? You need a high end apartment and to be rank 12. This sh*t still boggles my simple mind.

LMFAO about some guys who've spend 24+ hours on the Convoy Setup. They're all near or above rank 100 (don't ask me how they've reached it_ but can't complete this and now I've played 2 hours with them on that setup. They kept dying or failing any other way and now is one of those retarded f*ckheads blaming me for going solo.

LOL. I told one of the guys how we should do it (which worked every single time people did it that way). Why does R* let these retards play it? Not even to mention that guy who blames me probally is mental sick or something. He should be in an asylum. Over the last few days I've had to do Tennis, a Sea Race and a Rally Race as part of my Daily Objectives...3 jobs that are, understandably, not very popular - but I've been instructed to do them.

 

I played a match of tennis - dominated - got to match point...the other player quit.

Participated in a sea race - took an early lead - 20 seconds in to the race...the other player quit.

..and don't even get me started on rally races! I know they suck - but if one player quits, you both quit!

 

..anyway, my b!tch and moan isn't so much about the quitters - that has been well covered - no, my gripe is that when I access their Xbox profile to add them to my black list I see that these gamers consider themselves to be 'Pro' gamers. 'Pro' is short for 'Professional' - and quitting is just about the least professional thing you can do in an online game! Just take the loss and move on...and have faith that, even though I'm in the lead, I'm not particularly enjoying the sea race either!

 

(this especially annoyed me with the tennis match, because when the 'Pro' quit - it didn't register that I'd even played...so I had to do another one! Nobody wants to do tennis TWICE in one day!)

There's a special place in hell for people who quit because they're losing.
