Really disappointed, that some really cool team-based Lester missions, like Last Chopper Outta LS or The Parking Garage never appear on a voting screen or on the mission list in the Job menu. The only way to launch them seems to be calling Lester and hoping he gives it to you.

 

Complete it and it should be in your pause menu list.

 

Not only that, but you actually need to restart the game too - those missions weren't on the list during the play session in which I completed them, but they appeared today.

Do not pretend for a second that the items in GTA Online are not overpriced compared to single player. The only reason these prices were jacked up for online is to keep consumers playing the game and repeating low-payout missions over and over again to continue purchasing goods and services. All this in the hope that a majority will give up and purchase in-game cash.

 

Note, discounts were applied to weapon purchases. Vehicle mods were tested on a stock Washington sedan.

You do know that money is hard to make in SP, outside of the stock market and heists, right? In SP you can only do a certain heist once. Unlike MP where you can replay pretty much everything for as long as you want.

I try later, I get stuck in SP limbo, with all my guns missing.

Since I have barely done any heist hosting for public teams, I am being confronted by something that I find illogical and frustrating.

The "breaks" in between set up missions. Why the **** do we have to fill up a lobby for a cutscene, only to have to proceed to a new lobby for the mission itself? Noone likes this. There is no name for these "cutscene lobbies", so people getting the invitation will often think that it's the finale.

They join, they see that it isn't (there's no difficulty setting, possibly some other way to see it too that I have overlooked) and they leave because they're annoyed by the deception.

 

They're pissed off because someone/the game tricked them into joining a lobby they didn't want to be in in the first place. And hosts have to get through this, KNOWING that they'll not only piss off said players, but end up having to retry several times just to get past that point.

Why the **** do we need to have those cutscenes outside of the missions? Since pretty much everyone always does a heist in the order it's presented in, just put the damn cutscene IN THE BLOODY MISSION. PLEASE. This system right now makes no sense and it just makes it look like Rockstar designed it that way with the pure intention of pissing people off.

 

Secondly, why is there no text chat for the PS3? I don't know how it is for the other consoles, but my communication options are limited to PSN messages and chatrooms (using the super slow and laggy overlay), the microphone (which I often use for skype on my laptop in calls with other people) and text messages in-game. Now, I have a USB keyboard, it works great. But I'm just wondering why there isn't some kind of little chatbox in the job lobbies. It'd be optional to use, obviously, and less annoying than mic spam. People who have a keyboard or are just quick with the text input can briefly talk about stuff like the plan they want to stick to. They can talk in the (if heist mission) dressing room and give suggestions. They can talk on the finale boards and ask for a certain role/cut. And at the very least people (myself) will be able to tell players why I'm kicking them, if I am. Better yet, players can tell what their experience is to avoid getting kicked.

 

Well, while we're at it...

Why do so many people insist on sticking so close to your tail all the freaking time. Yes, I can follow my teammates closely too, but I know what a brake is. I pay attention and make sure I don't obliterate their vehicle or kill them as soon as they slow down. If you're a motorcycle, you're likely to get tossed off and killed. If you're just driving along and trying to not hit any obstacles, you'll be rammed from behind and slammed into other cars or walls. Flying in a mission like the EMP Theft (or however it's called) is a nightmare, I always end up having to dodge more teammates than NPC pilots. In the Prison Break, the demo pilot always tries to kiss the tail of my Velum. What for? Get some damn distance!

Even better in that same finale is when the chopper pilot has no patience and descends to the beach before the other three players have landed.

It's already hard enough to find a team with players that don't slam into the rocks or the surface of the water at great speed. It doesn't help that a Buzzard pilot is actually trying (that's what it looks like, I'm sure it usually isn't intentional, but that just makes it worse) to catch the parachuting players in the rotors. Literally a few minutes ago I almost got turned into minced meat. Again.

 

IF YOU ARE FLYING THE BUZZARD CHOPPER IN THE PRISON BREAK FINALE, HAVE PATIENCE AND DON'T LAND UNTIL THE OTHERS ARE SAFELY ON THE BEACH.

 

Lastly, why is this topic not stickied in the GTA:O section? Sure, people often link to it, but it's plainly silly if a poster complains about something in this forum section, without knowing about this thread, and then being reprimanded by various veteran posters for not putting the complaint in here.

Polite request to the forum moderators/administrators: please sticky this thread or stop requiring posters to put there complaints in this one thread.

The Fact that Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited has 10000+ players in one server and has no lag or connection errors what so ever, yet having more then 5 players in a server on GTA online is enough to break the game and cause connection errors, plus Elder Scrolls Online is the best 60$ I've ever spent in a long time, GTA V not so much. Now if you don't mind one of my Alliance's forts is under attack. That is all.

Why..... why if you quit a character selection lobby or Heist leaderboard screen OR get kicked from it cause somebody/leader left does it send you to Public session?

If I play Invite I can play for HOURS without a single "can't join sh*t" BS messages popping up whenever I try playing something. Yet the moment I'm in public I get the curse within 30 minutes or less. *sigh*

Freaking noobs. When I was low ranked I sticked with higher ranked to help them out and not going solo against Merryweather on hard while I didn't knew yet how everything worked online nor I knew what to do on a mission because it all was new for me.

But these guys.... omg! I need to do everything alone and they wonder why I won't finish the missions....

Well, you die, I need to do everything solo which costs me money, armor and snacks. It cost me time and efford to complete it so why the f*ck should I let them get the same amount of money as me. I just wait till they leave what the mostly do within 5 minutes of death or when they see I'm ''AFK''.

Not a damn thing wrong with playing Skyrim, besides nothing is as glitchy as GTAO.

Surely though Skyrim IS glitchy and laggy with no updates, but after having all the possible patches for the Standard Edition the game runs more smoothly than GTAO. In fact the game has zero restrictions, unlike Online.

 

It became my All Time Favorite Console Game before I even finish the story.

To be fair, it's not the type of car to have a retractable or fixed removable hardtop roof. I personally think there should've just been a coupe version but with more power, a throatier engine note, and gullwing doors. I can't even look at the Surano without getting disgusted. It's got the body of a Mercedes SLS Roadster but everything else screams F-Type.

 

They've basically screwed up two cars with this thing. What they should've done with the Surano (especially since the Feltzer went on to be a DTM racer) was mix an SLS Roadster with an SL63 and maybe something else from Mercedes. And they shouldn't have included those tacky side gills either. Then they should've made it sound like an F620. The steering is fine but I can't help but feel like it should've been faster. I love that wide feeling you get when you steer it because it is a big car, but the acceleration is so underwhelming.

 

If they wanted to do an F-Type then they should've done one separately and then mixed it with something else from Jaguar. That would've been amazing but unfortunately it's too late. Or is it? For a long time the F620 was the Maserati GranTurismo of TBoGT and V but then the Furore GT came along which is a Lampadati and portrays even more GranTurismo resemblance. So maybe we'll still get an F-Type based Ocelot? Perhaps as a hardtop coupe just so it doesn't look too similar to the Surano.

 

But yes, I'd like a coupe Surano with gullwings. With the SLS in existence, it's absolutely bonkers not to do a proper parody of one.

Ok so i'm at the El Gordo lighthouse after finishing the gang attack finished and I have a 4 star wanted level. I sucessfully manage to somehow hijack police boat because that was the only way out. Well then I had to go around the whole f*cking map just to lose my damn stars while barely surviving because the boat is sh*t slow. Why couldn't they add a river from the east near the lighthouse to Paleto bay

I've never really hosted heists past Fleeca, always just been a random teammate. Tonight, I got in a party with 3 other guys, I didn't know them but we had mics and were all together, and decided to host for the first time. OMG the bullsh*t a host must endure...even with ppl together...just, kmn.

 

For all the bullsh*t, so called "teammates" coupled with a high setup cost, AND not getting any $ from the setups, I'd take the full 100% finale cut if I could. To hell with those of you who can't know your role and get it done. Turds.
