The thing is literally a tank and can't be lifted by a Cargobob, I ram any other pedestrian and they die right there! What the f*ck is LSPD giving their officers that lets them survive high speed collisions with a tank?!

I don't see why there would be any reason to doubt that the shark cards do have do have a positive purpose, even if the main one is for making a profit. GTAO probably has twice the amount of DLC compared with RDR and MP3's multiplayer combined, both of those had paid DLC which did infact split the player base, I stuck with MP3 til the bitter end and playing some of the later dlc was almost impossible. Part of that is Rockstars fault for splitting the players from the beginning with the system of multiple aiming preference instead of working on a way to unify both, but in general paid DLC splitting players is a huge problem for multiplayer games.

 

For all my faults with the game the updates are in no way lackluster. No matter if you hated or loved the heist update allot of time and money clearly went into it.

 

My issue with shark cards and rockstars take on them, jobs in the game pay sh*t, heist pays sh*t, everything is about spending money in gtao. Our old way of testing vehicles seems to have taken a turn for the worst. We can no longer try them out before we buy them. Shark cards are forced upon new and broke players or even the players that bank all their cash. Go to the store and resupply on snacks. You'll get a message to buy shark cards even tho you have millions banked.

 

People like to be delusional about shark cards. Rockstar said it, what once, that shark cards fund updates. Yet we don't get monthly ones. Also we get these updates to fix issues with the game. Rockstar throws a few vehicles in them so we don't question anything.

 

Sure lots of money went into heist but that was in the works before the game came out. My issue isn't with what people spend their own money on, its the lack of quality from rockstar. The lack of dedicated servers. That's my issue.

You not liking a Microsoft product has nothing to do with the product itself. No huge difference between playstation nor Xbox at the end of the day, only the fanboys.

 

Also bank all your money and go buy some snacks or pick up a hooker. It will tell you, you don't have the correct funds and will try to redirect you to the store to buy shark cards. That's 100% real, not false. I'm talking about no cash on hand, all banked.

Having a HARD time with the online flight school. SP flight school was easy. Had to try the parachute jump a lot. Catching the parachute: easy. Getting down to the field: easy. Landing in the circle? p.i.t.a.

 

Now, having a much harder time with landing the helicopter on the truck. The helicopter handles HORRIBLY. I wish they'd do something about the flight controls. In SP, I can fly a chopper reasonably well, but in this flight school mission, the tail rotor seems reversed, and the chopper wobbles all over the place.

And somebody took it upon themselves to blow up my Insurgent while I was waiting 10 minutes for a Finale to get a fourth......... can't find my Insurgent on vehicle list, BMX is selected for some stupid reason. Quickly selects Armored Karuma and waits anxiously for others to start so I can check MMI. Insurgent is there and somebody blew it up and paid for the bill........ why? it wasn't hurting you. Nobody was even inside of it. Just parked outside a apartment

Here's an observation, which amused me rather than pissing me off, but some people probably would be pissed.

 

As you know, GTAV and GTA Online do not exactly provide the most subtle and sublime driving controls ever created by man. What I mean is, most drivers routinely hit a number of obstacles on their way to an objective.

 

So last night, doing the Humane Labs EMP delivery setup, I jump in the car with a team member who has quickly raced to his car, and obviously wants to drive. Fine, I thought, I am sure he will be glad to show me his exemplary driving skills.

 

So it's about 5 miles to the start point. Along the way, this guy manages to hit almost .every. .single. .immovable. .object. .and. .vehicle. along the way. Eventually we catch up with another driving ace, who left before us (he stole my bike, but that's fine, because he obviously has good taste), who had launched the bike off a cliff into the water and has been slowly slogging back up to the road. My hard-contact driver stops and picks up the straggler, so he can show off his awesome driving skills to two teammates rather than just one.

 

Our highly skilled driver continues to collide with every polygon on the route, as he makes his way the last two miles to the start point. It got so bad, that when we got within about 0.35 miles, the other passenger jumped out of the car and started heading for the objective on foot, reasoning that he could get there faster. He did.

Jumped back into GTAO this weekend after a week off.

 

FR was plagued with armoured Kurumas and Insurgents. While moving between Vagos territory and LSC to pick up and trade gang cars, Three garishly coloured Kurumas (all with neons, of course) had a pop at me in separate incidents before I went passive to ignore them, after which at least one of them still tried to ram and shoot at my ghost. Derp.

 

Decided to jump into survival to tick off a Daily Objective - enemies spawned between rounds, shooting at us while picking up ammo, survival mode didn't record the other guy's score and eventually bugged out at the start of round 3, forcing me to wait while the game finally caught up and kicked me back to Freeroam.

 

Following this, the Daily Objective wasn't checked off. Getting annoyed now... never mind, i'll just do a gang attack and come back to it later. Said gang attack spawns enemies that gunned me down so quickly I didn't even have time to take cover or see where they were. Twice.

 

Quit GTAO. Less than half hour of play and I was seething. After playing other games for a while, it's worrying to see how GTAO just isn't that much fun.

 

F*ck this game.

(Then, as I went to post this B&M, the Forums went down! It's a conspiracy, a conspiracy I tell ya!)
