R*, y u introduce co-op after encouraging PvP with so many military-themed updates?

 

This is the essence of what is fundamentally wrong with the design of GTA Online. The game is disjointed and seems to be somewhat clumsily patched together. And it seems like co-op was an afterthought.

 

GTAV/GTA Online is a 3rd or 4th generation open world sandbox, which is of course what has made millions of us love GTA so much. And yet, in some important ways, GTA Online does not feel open. Almost any activity, like coop play, minigames, missions, jobs, heists, basically anything other than crazed PvP, is an isolated game mode, and the implementation is gradually worsening due to increasing join / loading / server problems. Gang Attacks are the only thing people can spontaneously join and cooperate without a blasted loading screen debacle yanking the player out of open world game immersion.

 

Thank goodness we can at least get in and out of cars without a loading screen (yet).

The "kill someone while offradar" objective can go f*ck itself. If it didn't announce to the whole damn lobb maybe people wouldn't take off like chickens.

 

Eventually I said f*ck it, did a Heist setup went off radar and sniped one of them. BOOM! Done. I never wanted to do that but at least they got what they deserved for dying everytime we were almost at the Insurgent delivery spot.

I got that objective early in the week. Was looking at th map for who was close and their was someone by the store near weasel...got in my GTA IV style blista went off radar, was gonna use the AP but I wanted it to be quick so I used the shotgun. Funny thing was he was robbing the place coming out with his back facing me. Killed him got the objective and the money he stole.

Trip Skip really should require ALL votes or not dock the pay of those who didn't want to do it. A person started Deliver EMP as soon as I got in, I shrugged and decided it was better than Fleeca..... everryone got in my Insurgent. As soon as we hit Sandy Shores..... TRIP SKIPPED! Go f*ck yourselves! Another two minutes and we'd be there. Soon after one of them got in the Insurgent and I don't know how but they got it on fire. I bailed and took the driver seat upon restart but the same idiot wanted to drive again and sticked the Insurgent after yanking me out. I just quit

Was playing Prison Break with some randoms on hard. Leader give everybody 20% including me and himself 40% and when I was looking at the screen, leader takes me down to 5% and gives himself 15%+ so he's at 55% (I'm the prison guard)

 

So I play along and play the heist and when we jump out of the plane. Some reason my parachute didn't open. Oops! I 'accidentally' smack down on the ground and it fails.

 

I don't care if I was a jerk, I got enough cash and bought everything. But I don't want to be ripped off and could of done 5+ rooftops to compare with the time it would take to complete the heist with a pay of 5% lol.

I don't care if you got f*cked or not (I'm host and i give everyone 25%) but that's an asshole move, no excuse. Especially on prison break.

Alright. We all know that GTA V has a LARGE focus on customization, mainly, vehicles.

They promote living out your wildest vehicular fantasy.

Well why is it that realism can't be one?

It seems they promote making retarded sh*t you'd never see in real life, BUT

Lowriders don't have hydraulics, or SUSPENSION OPTIONS, FOR THAT F*CKING MATTER

Tuners(or ricers, or imports, whatever you want to call them) don't even have many mod options.

I fight them off me getting zero deaths and me killing the others non-stop.

Decided to go rob 20 stores for the Stick Up Kid trophy which I haven't unlocked yet. So I did rob 20 stores in a session using a Buzzard sk it would be quick and it didn't unlock.

Gets in to a 1v1 war with a level 150. (I'm level 198) *He killed me first*

 

Others start joining the session.

 

2 Friends join tagging along with the war.

 

1 friend of the level 150's joins with him too. (mind the friends only a level 40, not much happened really other then that one of my friends kept sniping him)

 

I've got a 10k/3d with the level 150.

 

Every time the level 150 kills me, he proceeds to call me "trash" or when I kill him.

 

Now it's 3v2 and the level 150 calls out a tank.

 

Level 150 kills each of us like 4 times because of the beach and not really much to hide, every kill he gets "Trash kids"

 

Me & my 2 friends start RPG'ing him and he finally died in the tank.

 

Level 150 goes in to passive mode and drives away saying "These kids are trash on beach."

 

*5mins later* He comes back in another tank with not on radar kills me and other friend.

 

Other one of my friends kill level 150. He goes in passive and leaves the session.

 

 

--- Seriously, they should put a cool down on passive mode for like 30mins or an hour. Too many people abusing it.

I just remembered why I stopped playing this game.

 

- Hop into Online, change my Saved Outfits, got an invite to a mission (it was one of those 1-6 missions but I can't recall the name of the mission. Los Santos Connection?). Stupid controller made me jump out of the random's Buzzard, faceplanting myself + instant death. I'm ashamed.

 

- Fast forward to Landing Gear, we spawned close to the SSA, not even 5 seconds later I got insta-gibbed. ALL OF US died. Really!??!

 

- Restart. This time I ran straight to my Hydra. Everyone killed everything out there and took off in 2 planes, leaving one last sh*tty Mammatus. I destroy the enemy Buzzards, one of the friendly pilots committed suicide (lol how?!) and I fly the last Mammatus. Slow, ugly piece of sh*t that should disappear off the existence. Anyway, the flight to the drop off.

 

- We all made it in there, idiots started killing each other (*dude's name here* committed suicide, etc) and I'm the only one left alive. Knowing that my plane is sh*t, decided to land at an open area, a bit far from the drop off. I taxi the plane to the yellow marker, nothing. Wat? I in-game messaged one of them, stating that the mission is buggy. One of them told me to take off and re-land. I did. Nothing. Another told me to destroy the plane. The second I destroyed it, "MISSION: PASSED!). What?!

 

Buggy, stupid piece of sh*t multi-player game is buggy. Why did I even returned to this game? I should have stuck to Assassin's Creed 4.

Why don't Rockstar give us more information on future updates instead of leaving us hanging in the dark, listening to the blatherings of Youtubers and 'news' websites who claim to have the latest leaks?

 

I understand complexities come up which may affect the release date, but could they not just say "next DLC is roughly slated for May, barring any delays"? Bah!

Isn't related to GTA, but i had something similar in 'The Crew' - i had to get platinum trophys in all 5 areas, in each test (6) - did all the 30 tests with platinum, but didn't get the award. Its just stuck on 98%...

did you rob every different store on the map? it's stick up 20 different stores, not 20 stores in one session. To check progress on this, each store previously robbed will have a tick next to it on the map
