People who act like jerks are very frustrating. Come on, why did you shoot my down when I was peacefully flying and minding my own business? Why are you trying to run me over when I'm in passive mode and, again, minding my own business? Don't get me wrong, havoc definitely has its place in GTA, but sometimes it's uncalled for and unnecessary.

If you're flying through/over the city, that's deemed PvP restricted airspace. Fly at your own risk. Sorry.

If you're close enough for me to put some lead in ya, I'm going to. You can bail or just fly away. But, don't complain. You literally have an entire EMPTY SKY to fly in. If you really were just looking to fly while myob, then there are safer places and empty lobbies for that.

It's pretty simple actually, killing others is part of the game, and wanting people to play the game as you want them to is pretty unrealistic. The thing is pretty simple, on public forums, anything within the rules is allowed, and you just can't force people to play according to your preferences. If you want to chill and not be disturbed, try SP or Private lobby. I know, it sucks, but those are the options.

I think that Rockstard should have different lobbies. A warzone lobby where no insurance is paid, no Bad sport points are given

So blowing people up left and right is "good sport" but meeting random players isn't. M'kay.

Also, I have found something rather shocking when I started playing PS1/2 era games. Enjoy.

Now somebody tell me, how could a new-ish game (GTAOnline, I'll remove SA from the discussion - this is the Online section after all) contains game-breaking glitches, meanwhile a TWENTY ONE YEARS OLD GAME have 0 game-breaking glitches? The only "glitches" I run into when I fire up Doom games is the harmless texture glitches. But every time I play Online....

There are times when I'm grabbing a Maverick from the helipad near the docks, and I get shot down when I begin to fly in the opposite direction in a non-weaponized aircraft. That's what I'm talking about when it's uncalled for. Why does everybody always "suggest" going in a solo lobby just because I make a single complaint about behaviour that really only serves a purpose as grief in most situations? I like gunfights, but when somebody is minding their own business shooting them down is a jerk move. It's on the same level as running some dude down while he's in passive trying to walk to the store.

I don't take it personally. I know I said it's "very frustrating", but that's a bit of an exaggeration. I just wanted to moan about something I've noticed over the course of my playing, and this is the thread for it.

As I said, havoc has its place. Firefights are a lot of fun. I'm simply pointing out that acting like I described is, in most cases, pointless except to annoy somebody.

Hmmm let's see, which is more likely to have glitches? A game from 20+ years ago that's incredibly simplistic and is maybe a few thousand lines of code, or a game that's brand new and has possibly MILLIONS of lines of code. I think it's pretty obvious.

As games get more and more complex, the chances for glitches increases because it's harder to check for those when there's millions of lines of code. Not to mention with a game as big as GTA, simply changing one thing could result in messing up something that's entirely different from what you just changed.

Also those pictures are not game breaking glitches lmao. It's most likely your network not being optimized or you have Dollar Store Internet or on the rare occasion, it's R*s servers being funky.

I met somebody who was flying a stunt plane super low to the ground yesterday. Had to admit he was pretty ballsy for doing that. No way you can avoid Homing Launchers that low. I thought he was going to kamikaze me for a second but he just flew on by.

I love and f*cking hate that setup at the same time. It's super quick for 25k yet people fail it so f*cking much that I end up having to do almost all the work for them every f*cking time. People need to stop f*cking standing right in the open and not taking cover when enemies come. Like is it that hard to understand??????????

I get what yer sayin' man, I really do, but GTA5 has a much higher chance of having glitches and bugs since it has like, zillions of lines of code and whatnot. But that doesn't excuse Cockstar from having this game still be buggy as f*ck well over a year down the road. It's embarrassing how many glitches and sh*t this game has.

And LOL @ the guy who said "rare occasion" that the R* servers bork out.

But damn, yeah, DooM even has infinitely more badass boxart for sure. Look at Doomguy. Just gettin' his left arm clutched by some no-talent hell demon and just giving zero f*cks about it whilst continuing his genocide on the demonic populace.

This happened to me like a month ago, but i still can't believe Rockstar accomplished to f*ck up their game up so bad. I did the Criminal Mastermind challenge, but didn't get the reward of 10 million dollars. Two people in my crew got it, while me and another didn't. Me and the other were the ones who hosted the Fleeca Job, and we were the ones who didn't get the money. Just terrible, Rockstar. I haven't tried again since then, and probably won't ever. I complained to their F*CKING TERRIBLE customer support, but they're brain dead there. Here's proof, if you need it (from a different player's perspective, one who got the 10mil):

I tried playing heists with randoms again, because the last two times people were terrible. I thought it couldn't get much worse than replaying Series A - Coke 8 times because a level 41 can't stop jumping into bullets, or having someone faceplant into the beach on Prison Break, or destroying the Buzzard just before we jumped out of the plane.

Haha, I was laughably incorrect. It gets much worse.

Last time I checked, you had to be level 12 (which might I add, is unbelievably stupid), but somehow, A level 3 joined. I bet you think you know where this going, but no - He didn't fail to live. He just failed to do his f*cking job at all. He was the Demolition guy, and for some reason went with the Prisoner (I was Prison Guard) and refused to leave the bus. No matter how many times I told him to do his part, he wouldn't listen. He even chased after us with a car he stole, and followed us INSIDE the f*cking prison. And then we failed.

The other attempt which I won't elaborate on, had 3 morons blowing themselves and the van up on Pacific Standard - Vans. not accidentally, totally on purpose. Shooting it when the setup started, holding grenades inside, shooting the ground with an RPG, and much more. About 20 minutes later, we finally started going. But then..

Oh, gawd - that was painful... :facedesk:

Beyond the low-levels punching waaaaaay above their weight (bad when it's a rank 12 wanting to do Humane Labs on Hard - worse when a rank 5 decides to join. Are you kidding?!? :beerhat: ), teamwork-averse idiots who'll fight each other over who gets the Hydra, or wanting to get more kills during the Casco bit when they're assigned to the Police team, I'm REALLY getting hacked off with people deciding to quit during a quiet part of a mission, because they're 'bored'.

For example, last night had it happen with the Humane Labs finale - one guy got bored driving to the Valkyrie, so decided to leave, screwing it for everyone else. Had the same with people in the Dinghy for the EMP/Aircraft Carrier bit - for goodness sake, cut back on the caffeine, have a little patience, and maybe remember you're not playing a regular contact mission, where quitting leaves three people to pick up the slack.

Bottom line: you join a match-made Heist mission, at least do everyone else the common courtesy of playing to completion (or failure) at least ONCE. If some idiot screws up, fine - quit at the screen - or maybe text people if you've got something urgent that means you've got to leave. But if you reckon you've got the 10-20 minutes to commit to one of these jobs, don't waste other people's time when you suddenly change your mind... :rah:

Lmao. That sound terrible. I hate doing heists with random people. Not saying all random people are bad. There are some good randoms out there. But the bad seem to outnumber the good. By a lot.

Reminds me of the time where someone in the Prison Break heist decided to fight the prison guards with their fists. I sh*t you not. The amount of times we had to retry the heist was insane. He didn't wanna listen to anyone. He insisted he could do the heist with his fists. F*cking hell.

Lmfao at all those. agreed. ^^^

How in the hell does someone have that little of patience that they get bored in the middle of a setup? xD It sucks that finding good randoms is like finding a Unicorn or Bigfoot. It's like 95% of people I find can't read or hear, they just like shooting sh*t, it's crazy. Another thing I've thought about is, do people not know about snacks and stacked body armor? Rockstar should have that as a loading card, and spam it on peoples screen when playing missions and heists, because it sure as hell seems likes almost no one uses them.

Also, @LightningLord, if I ever played with a dumbass like that I'd use my fists on him for a long time lol.

I already have a gripe after 3 hours of playing, if GTAO is the new "Midnight Club" to Rockstar? Why no NPC races? Heck, where are the LSC upgrades for those who hate racing real people?

I still have fun time-trialing with stock cars but that's something I'd improve. :)

If GTA O had the Saints Row clothes style customization I'll definitely be using the regular/casual clothes more often than the military gear/clothes introduced in the Heists Update

Joins a 30 player public lobby, everyone is hanging out in the middle of LS.I go there to see what's up then everyone disconnects right in front of me.

This level 14 fool in the Prison Break finale assigns me as the pilot (I'm level 75 so I have good weapons) and this level 102 as the demolitions, level 14 assigns himself as the prison officer and a level 10 as the prisoner.Guess how that turned out.

I'll be coming back with more sh*t to B&M on.

Menstrual Deranged

When I logged on to my character the other day, she was in the shower wearing a bikini. Why? Is this game not rated M? I should mention that I'm a hetero female gamer & not interested in seeing boobs. I just think it's weird that after a hard day in Los Santos, she can't even properly wash off all the blood and boob sweat. Lame.

Drives me nuts that snacks aren't easier to access. During intense gunfight, it's very annoying to have to go through so many UI steps just to get something to eat and bring my health up.

And I want my Snapmatic pics to show up for me in the Social Club. I'm a chick, I take a lot of selfies. Usually with my beloved pink Fugitive that everyone seems to like to blow up for some reason....

I hate that when I buy clothes, I automatically equip what I buy. Sometimes I want to buy clothes but not put them on right then and there. And why is there no plain black tank top?!

Other than that, most of my complaints are player-related. Like murder-crazy assholes hiding in tanks or armored cars so no one can touch them. That's cowardly.

At the same time, when you've been waiting for more than 10minutes for the (often useless) extra fourth player to join your heist setup, I'm pretty sure you'll be willing to hold your nose and accept the level 14-player.

I meant when I join a lobby and see a 14 and 7 already in there. The last slot I'm usually willing to deal. Sucks when the Host is level 12 as well. :/

I always keep my finger on B when the game finds a lobby to immediately back out if I see it's a party of low levels.

No, actually I won't! I play heists for fun not for money, and there's nothing fun at all about repeating a heist over & over with the same results because the level 14 can't stay alive. Don't misunderstand me though, a high level isn't a guarantee of success (I swear that R* must be secretly selling RP cards to some players) but a very low level is almost always a recipe for failure.
