How come everytime somebody leaves the heist team, instead of returning to a lobby of players, it completely disperses the team rather than returning to the lobby? This is a massive impediment because it's likely that finding a session will fail, and shoddy connections makes returning to the heist slow and painful.

 

There should also be a penalty if somebody leaves heists too often.

The problem with GTA Online is that it's designed for crews. Being a random player doesn't work in the game, unfortunately. You don't get to experience heists and structured activities properly. I found it hard to land in a structured activity in which I don't get kicked out (mostly in heists) or, at best, play in random community-created deathmatch maps that suck most of the time. It is really frustrating.

 

Where's Red Dead Redemption multiplayer? that was the best thing happened. It was designed to serve random and crew-based players, and It was easy to find matches and structured activities that you can complete. No need to worry about joining a crew just to play a heist. Rockstar better not continue down in this road when designing online in their future games. I don't want to see Red Dead Online in which you've to take care of your horse by giving it water and grass hay.I thought that playing online should be an instant fun.

 

Rockstar turned it into an unbearable activity by saturating it with all kinds of content. I can't even keep up with what's happening. Random invites, calls, messages, bounties, car impounding, snacks, leveling up and special abilities, bank deposits. Super/hacker players, upgrades. Is this a maze? what're they trying to include day-to-day life simulations? it's really funny that I've to take my money every time to the bank to make a deposit. Hey, Rockstar, I had enough of banks in real life, would you please let me have some fun co-op missions for an hour or two before going back to my real life? no, they wouldn't. Let us waste 15 minutes of your time trying to find players who you can play with, hoping that they're not hacking into the game, or would stick playing a heist till the end. Don't forget, you get a total of 3 minutes of time moving between menus.

 

 

I played Online two weeks ago, got irritated, never touched it again and may never have.

Was doing the prison heist as the pilot, doing alright at dodging the Lazer, everyone was level 20 or under, about 5 minutes into this the one who pilots the Buzzard breaks down and just leaves. Seriously? I even let them slip easy mode in because of the low ranking, but come on. You had 2 team lives to kill 2 people and steal a helicopter.

Speaking of team lives, Heists should be like missions....if you die, you have to watch the rest of your team carry on and finish.

 

Except payments should drop slightly of course. You die, you get 10,000$ less than everyone at the end. No splitting the $ between other players either. It just disappears. Finales, you get 40,000$ less if you dont make it to the final cutscene.

 

So much restarting has me reminding randoms constantly to take cover and not be a hero etc...

A f*cking men to that. I don't know why we don't have an option to turn off cops completely--all they do is add frustration and annoyance to the game. I have never once heard a player say "Man, thank god all these cops are here shooting everyone in the back as they try to have fun on an already buggy ass online server". I've sent rockstar numerous emails asking them to give us an option to turn off the cops because quite frankly they just ruin the gaming experience--90 percent of the game is spent running from the pigs and calling Lester to get them off your ass. And sometimes that doesn't even work--ever call Lester only to have him take your money but you still have a wanted level? What the f*ck kind of bullsh*t is that?

Matchmaking is fricking awful.

 

 

I just played a Team Deathmatch. It was 3 v 2. The three enemies were all rank 100+ and two of them had bulletproof helmets.

 

What do I get? One teammate who was RANK 5 and went 0 kills to 16 deaths.

 

I went 18 kills to 7 deaths and we still lost.

Same sh*t has happened to me, except I would be on the other side (the 3 player team). I just goofed around during that match while watching my teammates slaughter them for 15 minutes. And yes, it was Owned + Pickups. So dumb. It was level 200+'s vs. 137 & level 6.

 

Unlike some people I give mercy in this game when situations like this come up. Because it's not fun killing a player over and over because they have no advantage.

Person decides to leave while setting up for a heist setup/finale doesn't matter which.

Unable to cnect please return to...you can't enter a Public lobby until you reboot the dam game

or the game just freezes or loses connection while on the mission. f*cking Irritating.

I wish if you quit a lobby for a setup, it doesn't give you the same kind of setup again and again. If I quit the lobby the first time, I obviously don't want to play Fleeca Scope Out. Then of course, random throws me in so many I get one of those people who start right when you're in the lobby.

 

Is it too much to ask to get something that ISN'T Prison Break Plane/Bus/Station or Fleeca Scope Out? I'm worn out from those.

You do know you can read which setup it is before accepting right?

 

 

Was helping a bunch of low rankers in The Prison Raid - Plane, everything was nice and perfect. Someone died but what do you except from newbies? Low health is a drawback here. And what's more, they actually knew "cover" was a thing.

 

Later on got an invite to The Pacific Standards Finale. YAY LECTRO!

 

1st try: Someone died (how did you even die in the VERY BEGINNING OF THE THING!?)

2nd try: Dumbass Crowd Control decided to ditch me off and help the Demo and hacker making my objective harder, from frustration I shot someone by mistake (was trying to hit them REALLY close but the hostage moved and I hit him by mistake - sorry ) but we all managed to get out.

3rd to 5th? try: Leader kept dying..... meanwhile I'm the one "Rambo'ing" it out (blowing up vehicles and cleaning the road with the RPG when possible) didn't die, but at the 5th try I nearly died. BUT I took some cover and regenerated my health a bit.

6th+ try: Dumbasses who can't listen. Looks like me and the host (who died at the first times) knew the plan - we tried taking over the Intruder (I believe its name?) police car and tried to tell the others to get in. Obviously none of them listened. They kept dying all the f'king time. Poor host decided to rage quit.

 

IS IT REALLY THAT HARD TO DITCH THE BIKES AND GET IN THE F'KING CAR OR AT LEAST RIDE THE DAMN THING?!?!?!?!?!?!?

 

EDIT: Just got an invite to Convoy, level 5 and 23.... aaand everybody (AND I MEAN EVERYBODY) failed....

Am I living on planet Earth? Is this is how dumb humanity became? Smh.

After I killed a bounty with a sticky bomb I immediately got a notification that I lost $6,000+ because I destroyed his PV. When the player respawned he still had the bounty for something like 20 seconds & then I got a notification that I received $3,000 for killing him & he lost the bounty Icon. I was not amused.

 

On come, that's all on you. Why blow up a person in a car with a bounty and risk your profit?

Everyone uses an armored Kuruma in free mode. The easiest way to deal with them is with explosives, but that'll cost you about 6000 bucks.

 

Also why is there no level lock for DLC weapons? It doesn't make any sense that you can get some of the best weapons in the game at lvl 0.

Yesterday, another few hours trying to do Prison Break, a month and counting. Got three people, level 50 something, 60 something and 23.

I put the 23 level on the plane, he was one of this nasty guys that piss off everybody with the mic, that he wanted more money (i was giving everybody 20%), he didn't want to be the pilot, as soon as the mission starts, i'm muting him when i hear an infant, a child, screaming and crying, he was taking care of a baby while playing GTA V.

 

Muted him, after a couple of fails because the Prison Officer, the level 60 something thought that bullets weren't hurting him, we made it out of the prison, we get to the landing strip, but the plane is not there, the f*cker, level 23, babysitting was flying on the other end of the map, who knows why, and he didn't got to land, obviously, because the moron on the chopper died, Who dies piloting the stupid chopper?, nobody is attacking you.

 

They wanted to try again, why?, it's obvious that nobody has idea what the f*ck is they job on the heist.

this... i was hoping for seriously reduced loading times and better matchmaking on pc compared to the prev. gen console versions.. but no, this game still requires so much patience it's almost intolerable

 

 

sometimes i get a bit annoyed when a low-risk setup starts and some kid goes "OI GET IN MI KURUMA IT'S HARD CAR I KEEP YOU SAFE"... if it's an easy mission i really prefer going in on foot, using tactics and having fun instead of sitting in a box and shooting out the window. last time i joined the steal meth from o-neil brothers mission other players also prefered going in on foot and trying to be stealthy. we even discussed tactics in chat on the way there. then theres that guy in a kuruma who drove right up to the farmhouse and started driving over enemies. then he accidentally flattened the host and that was that. f*cking retards

I'm f*cking sic of the f*cking heists, people crushing the plane on Prison brake 3 times on a row, not getting blown up, but crushing it into the floor. Spent all my f*cking sunday trying to get a f*cking heist done, unsuccesfuly, f*ckING NOOBS. Why the f*ck is a f*cking level 12 hosting a heist if he hasn't unlocked 75% of contact missions?

What is your psn? I'm level 164 I've completed every heist I could do them with my eyes closed. Psn:Idobadthingz5 add me.

so lames wont grief the noobs. if you had online game since launch in September 2013 you should know what its like to be outclassed and out numbered with no home, no guns and high level players are calling lamar services & merryweather on you, so you either have to go passive or cry on the microphone until you quit or leave the session. then everyone call you broke boy and laughing...quite humiliating.. I had the experience of being a noob once and I vow to never be called broke boy again. but my kid plays and I had to play for him. he has a kamura for protection and and insurgent for power. he has all the download guns and even the carbon rifle everyone got for Christmas playing field is more even nowdays. now all we got to do is have fun and ignore the racist. instead of jealousy should embrace the realistics ..f*ck your level anyone can get killed with a gun.
