Is it me, or does it seem impossible to join any jobs in GTA:O? I can join contact missions just fine, but whenever i try to join a deathmatch, LTS, capture, etc..., i get prompted with a message reading

 

"failed to join job or activity, please return to GTA:O".

f*ck this sh*tty game. Twice it has crashed on me tonight. Getting worse over last couple of days. Just killed a load of enemies on stick up the stick up crew, got in the truck, and as soon as I go over the tracks near truck area game freezes. This is in invite only by myself. Game freezes less in public lobbies, hardly ever. And I get more lag spikes on some jobs when I play alone as well. This is last gen by the way.

Am I the only one whose game freezes then quits on its own if you try to access the 'General' section of the Stats?

Yup--and if you want to see just how bad it is, get a Buzzard (and a three- or four-star wanted level) and fly along any highway. Every fricking 20 yards you'll see cops...as you fly for miles.

I was just messing around today. Got a 1 star on the block south of the movie theatre. The blue/red dot of a cop spawned on my mini map 20 feet ahead of me and inside of a car. I'm semi alright with spawning down the block, but to spawn in a car that close is a bit bullsh*t. If they want to make cops seem everywhere in the blink of a wanted level, they should have them on the streets in traffic already.

Parachuted from the top of the world and shot a few rounds. Instant 1 star. The casings didn't event get near the ground at that point.

Not as bad as the early days of GTAO (Which I missed) where there was a bug that would give you 2 stars if you were driving a PV that was on Simeon's list. Glad I missed that.I remember those days. Spawn online, hop in a car, and you'd be murdered by cops before the garage door even finished opening. And you wouldn't even have the text from Simeon yet asking for those vehicles.

Today i was playing a deathmatch, my team had 2 players, myself and a level 4 player. The level 4 player wasn't doing nothing except being killed. But that doesn't stopped us from dominating the match. Once i got close to the end of the match, the other team kicked me, so they could kill the level 4 player and win.

And the worst part is that once i returned to free roam, a message appears saying that i left a job without completing and that i would become bad sport if i keep doing that !!!! f*ck YOU ROCKSTAR!!!

Yea they have the game tuned for old gen where there wasn't enough computing power for the cops top work like they did in gta4 so they had to make them spawn closer and more of them and shoot more accurately cause the more action/people/explosions there are in the lobby the less cops show up. In nearly full lobbies with people shooting each other in the same location using rockets/grenades/explosions you won't have any cops, npcs, or traffic at all and if you do see a car it despawns when you touch it, no one's driving or it simply don't let you enter. Games cutting stuff cause the processor is maxed out.

 

Unfortunately for new gen they didn't fix or change anything so now they all show up and rape you, lol! Rockstar failed hard at this game, twice. Can't wait to see how bad they screw up pc version, ass clowns

Modder blew me up in my garage. Someone places a bounty on him. I kill him, take the money, and go into passive mode. Then I get kicked from the lobby for it.

This guy proceeded to kill me over and over and over on PS4. His rank was 1002 and his KD was 263.xx

 

Called him out on it for being a modest previous gen and then three of his friends decided to gang rape via bullets me every time I respawned. Went into passive mode and was kicked.

 

There were only 7 people in the lobby, including myself.

 

One guy said he was only using a pistol to kill me, which looked like he was, but he was taking one shot at me, killing me instantly. He wasn't even in lock on rage.

 

Gotta admit, I was pissed. And I never get pissed over a video game.

I cannot stress enough these user created deathmatches. I know there are some good ones but what appeals people to play these those awful 1000000 million dollar RP death traps? And also when people leave a DM when we are losing and we still got 5 minutes.

Could be a bad Ethernet wire somewhere in your network. I had the same issue and found out the cable from my X1 to my wifi booster was actually one third the speed of going wireless. As soon as I ditched the cable, I stopped getting kicked out of lobbies on GTA.

 

I only had noticeable lag and disconnects through Gta and Netflix and I haven't had a single issue since ditching the cable. Makes me want to go check every wire I have.

My son n daughter got me a 3.5 million shark card for my birthday & I used it but I only got 700k of it. I contacted rockstar & they tried to blame it on ps store to begin with but now they're allegedly looking into it grrr, Before anyone says it I haven't been using modded cash or glitching

I'm one of those people who have been Patiently waiting for heists without bitching too much about it. But on PS3 the LAG and constant freezes are making scared that they are going to be Unplayable from all the memory that the PS3 can't handle. Yesterday, I was driving my zentorno and i could have sworn i ran over this guy with enough speed to kill him...apparently not. He did hit the floor i started shooting him with my AP, Saw him taking damage while laying on the floor, He rubber bands to the front of my car and shoots me in the head. What BS.

You should always expect something when visiting that particular LSC.
